Grave, after tearing down the top elements of Millenion, was saved due to the requests of Mika (
pic of Mika with coffin) and they left (read: she dragged him with) to go find a way to preserve Grave's body. Upon finding Nikolaus, Nikolaus used Necrocmancy to help repair some of the damage that the flawed necro-rise techniques caused; however, in order to truly make his body self reliant, he injected Grave with vampire blood, which combined with the various necromancy techniques preserved Graves body, as well as giving back most of his natural functions, the exception, however, is that he will continue to need blood, only he now drinks it instead of having it injected. He is a true vampire, created artificially, with all the flaws of one.
In order to repay the debt, Grave began working as an assassin for Ni, at least in theory. There has been little need for his skills yet.
Armements: Two guns, caliber unknown, at least magnum in strength.
Coffin (armements inside: full auto-machine gun, and a rocket launcher)
Abilities:
limited vampiric power, as well as all weakness associated with it.
The third eye ability: the power to "sense" what is going on around him, making sight unnecessary for killing his foes. It also gives him no blind spots, despite the fact he only has one eye.
Powers related to the necro-rise:
practically impervious to most weapons, even a bomb going off at point blank will only slow him down. His two "handguns" are capable of piercing his flesh.
Regeneration: weapons that do harm him, have little lasting effect, though, if enough damage is inflicted it will fail.
It should be noted that like before with the necro-rise, if he doesn't consume blood, his body grows weaker, and thus more weapons are able to pierce him and his regeneration is not as effecient.
Summons:
Regenerators: the mainstay of Nikolaus' force, powerful creatures, but ugly. They are humanoid in shape and average in height at about six feet. They are easily identified by the massive gem in their forehead. Though, it is believed that if the gem is damaged, they will die; there has never been a case of them failing, so it is not known if it is true. They also tend to wear extremely baggy clothing as well as covering their entire body, generally a uniform with a helmet and face mask, using various markings to show which section they are in, name, rank and any other important information. They are generally armed with AK-47s and the like, though they raid their fallen enemies for new weapons to cut down on the costs.
Abilities:
regeneration: essentially able to walk off most anything, regrow limbs and such.
extending limbs: the reason for their clothes being so baggy is to allow them to make use of this ability without damaging their clothes. This allows them to attack from a greater distance, combined with their humanoid appearance, which grants them the element of surprise, generally means that most short range weapons end up being useless against them.
Blood golems: spies and such. They are near impossible to kill due to the fact that they are entirely made of blood, and a single gem the size of a dime that is constantly moving through the blood. The fact is that because of the liquid nature of the beings, they can get most anywhere, they also absorb any blood into their being. Though, the most frightening thing about them, is that any living being caught in it's grasp is drained of their very life, as well as their blood. However, despite this, and despite their nature of being damn near unkillable by conventional means, they are not deployed in combat situations often because they are not very powerful offensively, as the main offensive abilities would be to drown their foes, attack them with tentacles and use the drain, the first being ineffecient, the second being hard to pull of due to the fact that the blood is more likely to splatter than actually do any real damage, and the last because the process takes too long and would alert the flaw to Nikolaus, as such may make them seem ineffecient. They main way to actually kill them would be to destroy the jewel, however because of the constant movement, and the small size of it, attempts to kill them are generally met with failure.
They are generally kept in large pools, creating a very disturbing image for those who enter the labs.
Flesh Golems: essentially zombies made up of many other zombies, at least their parts. Powerful, large, easily twice the height of the average regenerator (even hunched over), they are the powerhouses of Nikolaus' forces. Generally armed with heavy weaponry, such as vuclan guns, rocket launchers, there is even one that uses a modified tank gun. Their nature of being made up of many parts shows in their appearance, the scars of where they were sewn together are clearly visible, and shown with pride.
They have no particular abiilites, outside a great deal of strength and ability to absorb a lot of weapon fire without flinching, though, despite rampat beliefs, they can heal, it just isn't nearly as fast as a regenerator.
Granfaloon: wasn't so much Nikolaus' creation, as he found the "core" of Granfaloon. After reviving the core, he began to study it, and interact with it, finding that it could revive any corpse in its vicinity on a whim, as well as the fact that it's tentacles could fire freakin' laser beams. As he interacted with it, through the corpses the creature revived, he learned that Granfaloon covered itself with corpses as a mode of defense, and controlled the corpses as a form of offense. After much negotiating, Granfaloon swore to serve Nikolaus, though Granfaloon was promised his own "habitat" in return.
Legions: collections of regenerators that have had their minds linked to the point they are essentially one entity. The "exposed" members of a Legion wear long flowing clothes and two masks on either side of their head; they then move in a very slow and deliberate manner, which combined with their melded minds, allows them to look as though they have eyes in the back of their head. What is really going on is that the ones looking forward send the images of what is before them to the ones looking backwards while the reverse happens with the ones looking back; this allows them to walk without ever being surprised. In order to continue the image, the flowing clothes hide their hands and feet, and unless absolutely needed they won't reveal which way they are facing.
The "concealed" members of a legion slink around using chameleon spells to hide their presence. Because of the necessity of created by the necessity of being concealed, they do not have the flowing outfits, though they do still have the twin masks on the front and back of the head. The hidden members generally are used to look for any threats to the legion that lurk outside of the range of the legion and dispose of them before they can strike against them.
Legions generally prefer smaller weaponry that can be concealed, they also do their best to prevent anyone from seeing them kill, generally surrounding their prey before killing them in a coordinated effort. The disguised members also avoid others seeing them kill by killing while still disguised by their spells. This created rumors that the Legions are omens of doom.
