TFFA: Listen to Time Again

Tribal village Prison Section 3:42 PM

Utterly surrounded, Sousuke raised his hands into the air in defeat. Two of the tribal men came to capture him but...

*Wham* Kneeing him. He jumped on the doubled over tribal man's back and propelled himself high into the air.

'Shoot I guess its time to use emergency arrows. Damn things take forever to make too.'

Drawing from his a quiver a steel arrow (one of the few he had) he fired. Attached to it was kevlar rope (not that he knew what that was) made from spider silk (that's how some forms of kevlar are made).

*Thud* The arrow attached itself to a tree. Attaching the hope to himself, he swung away.

'Better not leave empty handed.'

*Swoosh* He began to unload as many arrows as he could into the enemy.
*Twang. Twang. Twang.*

Many fell to the arrow hail storm. In this case, he didn't really aim. He just made sure not to fire in his allies general direction, increasing his barrage speed.

... then he saw his opportunity.

He fired 4 at Mick's direction and 3 and Vexx's. The arrrows connected with their captors.

'Shit this is gonna be tricky.' he thought as he loaded two more steel arrows.

"Strike True" He fired... and hooked Mick shirt and Vex's pants. 'I hope to God those things don't rip.'

Then he felt the recoil of the string propel him into the air, taking his two allies with him.

"Whew. Got a away." *Bam*

SOusuke slammed into a tree, and fell into the jungle unconcious...

Day ?? Time 3:40 PM
Somewhere in the Jungle
Posts/exp ??/?? (IÆll get back to you on that)

æSo degrading,Æ Nikolaus thought as he took another bite out of a rather large forest animal. Of course the creature was already dead, having a large mammal jump on top of you and twist your head around tends to do that. æThough it could use some season salt, maybe a bit of pepper.Æ

Another bite sounded, two tribesmen posted to scout out the camp watched the necromancer, a rather interesting train of thought passed through their heads; though, not exact, this is the rough estimation of their thoughts:

æThat is a great beast, we will be heroes if we kill it.Æ

æBut what of the dangers?Æ

æNo more guard duty during festivals.Æ

æBut it has opposable thumbs!Æ

æIt will be a great and horrendous battle, but we can win if we get the first strike.Æ

Let it never be said that they didnÆt walk into the battle not knowing of the risks. The ones that actually mattered at that point in time, anyway. As they readied their spears, they noticed a soft silken sound, turning toward the source; all that they saw was their own mistake. The spear of one of the huntsmen had been hitting several branches of a nearby tree.

Turning slowly back, the huntsmen saw their prey staring back at them, a moment passed, each waiting. Thinking the great beast to be sick, they launched their spears at it, while the beast jumped to the side, and dashed into the trees, his tail figuratively and literally between his legs.

The magic dampener was taking itÆs toll on the werewolfÆs body, as it existed in a state of flux, so to did NiÆs body, though the changes were somewhat random, and very inconvenient, it did also bring some comfort to the natural born werewolf.

Though, the wolf had more important issues at hand, the biggest was getting rid of the two chasing him, the other, being getting back to the safety of the fort. æBloody natives; still better to be here than acting as some human sacrifice.Æ

Near the Temple, Tribal Village, 4:00 PM, Day 1

A gnarled, aged tribeswoman led a procession through the village. Her cry rang out loud and clear, "INABA!"

There was silence.

Once more the ancient extorted her villagers, "INABA!"

The burly warrior carrying the spherical bamboo cage began the chant which quickly spread as the cage was passed forward from one warrior to another and grew in strength:
"Inaba! Inaba! Inaba! Inaba!"

The villagers following the procession added their own droning counterpoint that waxed and waned like the Moon in the sky.

Inside the cage, Sidhe was jostled about. She had tried to cling to the bars, but her grip had failed. The procession carried her cage up to a platform at the crest of a hill where the final warrior set the cage down.
Sidhe looked through the gaps in the cage and could see someone off in the distance.

"Mick-kun? Save me!" Sidhe screamed over the chanting of the tribes.

Mick yelled back, "Sidhe-chan? Hold on, Sidhe-chan!"

He ran, his chest glistening with sweat and blood in the torchlight. Beside him, a panda galloped along, carrying a man with a lump on his head. Vex hobbled along close behind, wearing an unpleasant-looking breechcloth and glaring at the man on the panda. Together they charged up the hill towards the platform where the warriors were gathered around Sidhe's cage.

But just as they reached the top, a colorfully dressed tribesman pulled a lever, nudging the cage down the far slope of the hill. The cage rolled down the slope, slowly at first but gaining speed as it bounced along. Post and embankments set against the slope diverted it, first in one direction, and then another.

"Sidhe-chan!" Mick yelled, leaping down a stairway to the side, over one step - two steps - three steps at a time. He cut over at the bottom of the slope and jumped, nearly grabbing the cage. Instead, he landed in a mud puddle and was quickly joined by Vex, the panda, and the man with the lump on his head.

"Miyiyiyiyick!" Sidhe screamed as she tumbled around in side the cage. It rolled along a track into a hole in a large stone wall. A large slab fell into place behind it.

The three men and the panda pulled themselves out of the mud puddle and searched for another entrance. They quickly found a large gate in the wall manned by a single large guardsman.

Mick pounded on the gate. "Let me in! Give them back!"

The guard snorted. "Shinjishinji waa waa!"

Sousuke patted the now muddy lump on his head. "He just insulted your manhood."

"You can understand them?" asked Vex.

"Not really, but I can fake it," Sousuke replied.

Mick pulled at the bars of the gate. "Give them back!"

The guardsman yawned and commented, "Loliya inaba. Buri Jun"

"Sacrifices in the front - err... others in the rear," translated Sousuke.

"Useless..."

"Beyond..."

"Thunderdome!" The guard pointed up and to the right where they could see the top of a great bambo dome rising over the treetops. At the dome, they found much of the rest of the rescue party waiting to enter.

And from the temple proper, the voices of the villagers rose in song:
"Pedobeary-ya Pedobear~ Partyvan-ya FBI~ Loliloliyaa Loliloliyaa Pedobearya Pedo-o Pedobear!"

Unknown stared at the temple and whispered, "Oh... shit... We're in some deep, bad juju, Mikey..."

"Never call me that again, Unknown. I hate that nickname," said Mick, while wearing a slight scowl towards me.

"Anhawahka bushanki! YAIKANSHA NIIESK LA CHENSO!" yelled a native.

"Guide dude, what did he say?" I asked Mr. Guide.

"I think he said... something about hammocks and cherries?" said the islander with a confused expression.

"Once a fool, always a fool!" yelled a frightenly familiar voice.

"That voice... that can't be!" I said in shock.

"Motoko... it's been a while..." said Mick as he glared daggers towards the origin of the voice.

"Surprised to see me, Michael? Or did you hope to never see me again when you made your harem?!?" Said the swords woman as she exited the shadows. The past was clearly evident on her body, the scars were there from the fierce battles of the recent past.

"By the way, you stupid guide, that was a challenge. A 2 on 2 battle inside that cell. A fight to the death. Which of you pathetic men will be a male sacrifice?" said Motoko who tried to aim her words at Mick for all she was worth.

"As if you have to ask? Your minions will meet their demise!" I growled before shedding my jacket and hat and moved towards the dome being lowered.

"I would expect nothing less from the man who will supposedly end the Yaoi war in TFF Village. Which other of you heartless bastards is next?!?" yelled the dishelved woman.

"I never was one for refusing a challenge, so I'll *hoooph!*" began David before Mick silenced him with a swift punch to his midsection.

"Nice try, David... I accept the fight, Motoko. Unknown and I against the two warriors of your choosing." stated Mick as he shed his cloak and scythes.

"Finally trying to be a man, huh Michael?" taunted the woman as she glared at the two warriors who would ace for the freedom of their comrades.

"I always was one, you just never wanted him for what he was, you self loving, arrogant wench!" yelled Mick as rage ripped across his body. I could feel the anger radiating from his body. So much so that I was impressed with how strong he could really be if the situation was right.

Tribal Village

"Well lads..." David sighed, looking around at his compatriots. "We're in a tight spot now, and let there be no mistake about it." he said, fixing his tie as he paced. Mercifully, he'd managed to liberate his clothing, and was in the proper attire for one such as he. He was careful to ignore the pointed glares and avaricious stares of the less dressed.

"The only thing we can do now is wait and hope for some ludicrous Deus ex Machina to get us out of this mess." he said, before giving Xaosite a significant look.

"If you would be so kind, Xao."

"Oh, you just had to pull that 'Don't tell them anything! They don't need to know about it!' garbage, didn't you! Now look at the situation we're in! I thought we were making an effort not to be this goddamned cliche!" Xaosite screamed inside his head, with a bit of nervous sweating.

David merely said, "I know that we're not at the top of our games here, but I'm sure you could pull something off." He frowned a bit as Xaosite twitched a bit at the word 'games'.

With a look of resignation, Xaosite cupped his hands, closed his eyes, and concentreted. Reaching deep within himself, he drew on what power he could access on this cut off little spot in the multiverse. Within the twisted chaos that made up the powers he wielded, he gripped with forces that lately had been changing and shifting beyond his control.

As he struggled to bring this power to bear, he noticed that there was something new... some kind of new force. It was faint, and very familiar to his own, so that so far it had escaped his notice. He would have to dwell on it later, because for now he had work to do.

To the others, this has lasted for a few moments of uncomfortable silence, when Xaosite's eyes burst open, and all present felt a pulse burst out from between his hands. Everyone felt a surge of energy pass them by, but to no effect.

Xaosite blinked, seperated his hands, and seemed to brace himself. After a moment, he looked down at himself, and sagged in relief. "Well, at least I didn't blow myself up," he muttered to himself.

"Umm, was that supposed to be it?" David asked, sweating a bit himself.

Then, Xaosite started glancing in all directions wildly. "Did anyone else feel that?"

"No...?"

Then, there was a rumble, similar to a distant burst of thunder.

"Or that?"

"Um, yes? What did you do?"

"A distraction...? I'm going to be honest, I have no idea what I just did."

David, along with many others, fixed him with a fierce look, as a slight tremor, barely felt, shook the island.

"Oh, this is going to get socially awkward in the immidiate future." Xaosite groaned, as a few more bits of ominous thunder rumbled.

æNow is my opportunity.Æ

Sousuke looked around once more to confirm his conclusion. The savages were too focused on the cage match to pay any attention to their captives.

Being smaller than everyone else, he used his size to slip his hands out of its bindings. æI better get out of here then.Æ He thought, barely sparing a thought to the others he would be escaping without.

æWhy do I even need to help them anyway? All theyÆve done is gotten me into a heap of trouble.Æ He began to move. No regrets or second thoughts entering his mind as he tensed his body to move. Howeverà

His eyes glimpsed at the female captives once more.

*Flash* His mind began to feel like a haze.

*Flash* His whole body began to feel heavy.

*Flash* His body felt like it was on fire. He felt himself stumble into the ground.

Images. Images began to flood his brain. Thousands of incomprehensible images just poured into his mind one after another.

*Flash* In the far corners of his mind, a scene played in his head.

ôNe, ne, are okay onii-chan. They poked more needles into today huh.ö

*Flash*

A crying face kneeling over his body which was awash in pain. ôIÆm so sorry onii-chan. Why did you do it? If you just let me be the one that got experimented on, then *sniffle* onii-chan wouldnÆt have to have both of them performed on him at once.ö

*Flash*

ôOnii-tan! YouÆre late!ö

*Flash*

ôDo you promise? That youÆll always be there for us. Onii-chanö
ôàyeah. I promise.ö He heard himself reply.

*Flash*

His body was burning with pain. His mind, in total agony. He looked up, to see two crying faces.

ôWhy did you do it onii-chan? DidnÆt you promise that youÆll always be there for us? Onii-chan!ö
æIÆm sorry, but know that I did this so that you can live your lives as normal happy people.Æ

He felt his life fade away.

*Flash*

His eyes shot open. His body moved.

*Shing*

Gutting the two savages closest to himself with their own knives, he jumped on top of a third in order to propel himself towards the tribal leader.

*Shing*

He knifed two bodyguards that got into his path in midair before landing. Noticing the substantial number of guards that stood between him and his goal, æto kill the bunny, you must slice off its headÆ, he went for the next best option. He jumped, turning in midair, before throwing a dagger towards his allies.

ôWhat the hell?ö David could only watch in a shock as a dagger cut open his bonds before sailing barely under his own privates.

ôGo get some help. IÆll buy you some time. Pandor, go help him.ö

Without missing a beat, he used another lumbering tribesman, to propel himself. This time, he headed towards the leaderÆs son.

Grabbing the preteen he was just shorter himself, he stuck just a centimeter away from his throat.

ôNo sudden movements or crazy junior gets it.ö

ôAsukaasukaasukaasuka. Pedopedo asuka.ö

The tribesmen chanted wildly, spears pointed at him. He smirked. æNo oneÆs paying attention to the others.Æ

The others, also noticing this, began walking around looking for ways to release their own bonds.

æPerfect.Æ

ôYo, crazy guide guy who keeps trying to kill me.ö

He turned, his hands never leaving the boy. It was David.

ôCatch.ö

He withdrew something from his coat and tossed it. Scratch that, there were two items. Sousuke moved, grabbing the ammo belt in one hand and the gun barrel in his mouth.

ôDo you know how to use a gun?ö David asked while mounting his new ride.
ôWho the fuck do you think I am? Of course I donà.ö

*Flash*

ôThis is a gun.ö An old, decrepit voice told him. Unlike the other voices, this one felt warm, if not a bit gruff. ôThis thing will be first line of assault and last line of defense. Never, ever be without one.ö The old man began to show him how to use it.

*Flash*

ôNever mind.ö Sousuke called out before expertly using his body pop out six bullets and slam them into their proper place. All done with only one hand and a gun held between his teeth. He swung the ammo belt around his shoulder and took the gun in hand before placing it on the boyÆs head.

ôWhat the hell are you waiting for? Get out of here.ö
ôStay alive crazy guide guy.ö He replied. The panda roared epicly, his body on its hind legs, glistening in the sunlight, before heading off.

æShow offÆ

Through the Jungle

David bounced along on the back of the panda (and It'sa not even a Fiat! an Italian part of his brain said). The village had been left a while before, and now only the bouncing jungle was visible all around. He looked at the Panda. "Um, you wouldn't happen to be called Genma, would you?" he asked. "No? Fair enough...."

Sitting as he was gave David time to think. It may have been the most sensible thing to do, but leaving his buddies to an uncertain fate like that didn't sit right with him. Once or twice, he thought to try and get the Pada to turn around. But that didn't work. So, he sat, and brooded.

Tribal Cage match 5:10 pm

Michael yelled as he charged forward; scythe in hand at the oversized bear that surveyed the booty it was to receive. The bears massive beady eyes seemed to reflect an unknown light as itÆs sight slid along their bodies. Just as Mick was going to make the first strike the bear whipped around kicking the mage back, causing the mage to bounce along the rock floor.

ôBravo, little brother, but I do believe that your friend in the wall established that doesnÆt work,ö NobuoÆs face was blank as he stared at Mick, who glared slightly at him. A little ways off, a small groan could be heard as Vex removed himself from the wall.

Unknown shook his head before glancing over to the recovering Mick and blank faced Nobuo.

Both stared back.

Turning his head, at a very slight angle, Unknown nodded at the bear which was back to staring at the goods. Both Mick and Nobuo nodded in understanding, standing to their feet shakily.

A moment passed, and they leapt forward, casting the severely weakened spells at the pedo-bear. The bear twirled around as the spells approached, and swatted them out of the air, assuring them that their spells were barely phasing the great stuffed beast.

A combined yell went up as a group of Vexes charged, forward; drawing his chain spears at an attempt to slash through the creatures resistance.

A great clamor rose above the battle as the mages and demon began to circle it from afar, blasting the creature with spells, and the warriors charged forward, stabbing itÆs knees. As one Vex implanted a spear almost halfway into the creatures leg, a great roar went up from went up deafening the combatantsà.

ôANONYMOUS DOES NOT FORGIVE!ö the beast kicked itÆs leg out sending one Vex into another. Another kick and another Vex was sent hurtling back, this time into Nobuo, ôCanÆt say he didnÆt deserve that.ö Mick muttered under his breath, as he approached the vines that held the women he loved (in various manners, and in some cases, various times).

Unfortunately, the great pedo bear was not amused by the dashing rescue attempt; Mick soon found himself hurtling through space and into a rock wall. Just as this was happening, Unknown ran under the great beast, and yelled ôLetÆs see how well you can handle a point blank spell, bastard!ö

Firing a lighting spell into the pedo-bear, Unknown laughed as it jerked violently. As Unknown dashed towards his goal a massive thing appeared before him, it took him only a second to realize that it was the foot of the bear, and in that time, it also slammed into him, launching him back away from the vines.

ôHuhàö Nikolaus sighed incredulously as he stared at the scene before his eyes. Several young women tied up by vines and being dangled in the air by said vines; with a giant toy bear standing of itÆs own will, looking menacingly at them, or would that be intently? Not to mention the various people strewn about the area. Shrugging his shoulders a small bit, Nikolaus drew his knife, ôWell, itÆs not like itÆs any stranger than me going back and forth between forms randomly.ö

Cracking his neck slightly Ni jumped down at the over sized plushy andàwas smacked aside like a fly, only he reflected, his guts didnÆt fly out, and that was a good thing in his eyes.

After a few bounces along the ground ending with hitting a wall; Nikolaus decided that the pedo-force was strong in this one, and that he needed to wait a while after being violently tossed about to attempt to form rational thoughts. He also came to understand that he should have been paying more attention by the time he realized that he was falling from the wall, not that it helped much at that point.

Big Fight in Tribal Village, 5.12pm

David and Belldandy scurried behind cover, and peeked out cautiously, as the Pedo-Bear lumbered around. "Well, we're in a tight spot now, aren't we, Belldandy-dono..." he said. When she didn't reply, he looked over. She was muttering to herself silently, with her eyes shut. "Erm... Belldandy-dono?"

She opened her eyes and seemed to nod to herself. "David? Do you trust me?" she asked. He opened his mouth to ask why, but she gave him a stern look. "Do you trust me?"

He silently nodded, and she smiled slightly. "Good." She leaned towards him and took his hand.

Her fingers intertwined with his as their lips metû and suddenly the world was light, that seemed to shine THROUGH him as much as on him, forcing him to close his eyes as it grew brighterà

The grip on his hand grew stronger, and seemed to expand. To those around, it seemed like the woman had simply transformed into light, enveloping her partner and seemingly changing, pulling into himà

The bright white light seemed to shift along the spectrum, white reforming into rainbow colour before seemingly turning into a shattered stained-glass window of blue and gold as it began to fade. And it showed the young man now alone, but with his right hand now enveloped in a gauntlet û at first it seemed almost glove-thin, no larger than his own hand, but upon further examination there seemed to be no movement, no openings between the fingers û as if his hand had been petrified, and around it moulded blue plates with golden trim.

And from this hand extended a mace, in the same colours once again, power and light still shining from the seams where blue met gold, at angle and point. He slowly opened his eyes, finding the mace head pressed against his lipsû somehow it still felt like her own, touching hisà

David opened his eyes. One was his normal hazel-green, but the other was a sparkling blue, as his short dark-blonde hair became more wheaten-blonde and fell out from under his hat in a long waterfall of hair.

Tribal Arena, Island, Middle of Nowhere, Day 1, 5:15 PM

Cold hard rage burned in NobuoÆs eyes before his face settled into a blank mask, the bear was physically very strong, and was more aware of itÆs surroundings than it let on. Along with having surprising speed for itÆs build and the relative nullification of magic that permeated the island, made direct attacks difficult. His eyes flicked to where Sidhe was strung up by the vines, the red body paint and blue cloth barely covered her, only serving to incite his rage into a howling storm of ice as he made a mental note to kill whomever had dressed her that was as well. Eyes alighting back to the brown bear plush, Nobuo drew a short sword from his weapon space giving it one experimental swing, noting with a certain amount of cold satisfaction that it would be light and fast enough for what he had in mind.

ôTetsuo, wait for the signal and be ready to finish it off.ö

His tone didnÆt broker any argument and Nobuo didnÆt wait for a reply before he started closing the distance between himself and the giant plush toy. Slowing down to a walk before he got within arms reach, Nobuo advanced cautiously short sword in hand. His caution paid off when one arm swung out to bat him away, and Nobuo danced out of the way, letting his weapon linger in range long enough to open a small rent as it slid across where a wrist would be.

Pedo-Bear paused and turned a fearsome glare directed at the mercenary clad in ill-gotten tribal wear. One brown arm reared back before streaking down cratering the ground where the mercenary had stood, only he had stepped to the side and forward letting his weapon slide across where it seemed the plushÆs elbow was, opening another rent in the cloth.

The mercenary harried the giant plush, always staying a step ahead, not to mention royally pissing it off. Nobuo managed to keep itÆs attention by never bringing any force to bear allowing the sharp edge of the blade to simply slide across the cloth and cut into it on itÆs own. Even when Epsilon, David, LL, and Vex came forward to deal with the vines holding the girls, Nobuo was able to hold the attention of the ægodÆ, granted he nearly took off one of itÆs arms when it tried to pick up a rock to throw at them.

NobuoÆs stance shifted from fluid to tense as the bear over extended itself and he stepped inside itÆs guard, and threw the sword up into the air sending it spinning end over end. Whipping its head back, Pedo-bear managed to avoid having its muzzle cut in two, only to see Michael in the air above it having just caught the weapon his brother had thrown to him. The blade arced down cutting through cloth and fluff, nearly taking off the bearÆs left ear as it stumbled away from the two brothers roaring in pain and anger.

Outside the Tribal Arena, Island, Middle of Nowhere, Day 1, 5:17 PM

'Last time I did something nice.... goddamn conscience.'

Sousuke was not happy. Having to stay stuck in the middle of a standoff with 40+ bloodthirsty savages will do that to you.

'Where's that guy that was supposed to come in with the backup? You know what, probably saving the day by epicly summoning some stupidly powerful weapon and knocking the shit out some stupidly powerful enemy.' thought Sousuke in a very unsousuke like manner. Being pissed off can also turn anyone OOC.

-Meanwhile-

"Achoo!"

Sneezed David as he clocked another one into anothe tentacle of that damnable bear that just won't die.

'Why do I have a feeling I'm forgetting something? Oh well.' He smashed his mace into an enemy for another devastating blow before being forced back.

-Back to Sousuke-

He gritted his teeth, his mind a whirl of thoughts and ideas. He needed a way out of this mess and he needed it fast.

*Badump*

His body suddenly began to feel woozy.

*Badump*

'What's happening to me?'

*Badump*

He could himself slipping. The other savages, noticing this, moved in for the kill. Having no choice, he left his hostage and began to fire frantically into the horde. He began to cut and shoot one after another.

And another. *Shing* and another *Bang* and another.

He began to lose track of the numbers as more just kept coming.

*Schick*
He stopped, his body unwilling to cooperate with his mind.

Then he looked down... to see a spear piercing his very body.

*Schick*

The savage pulled out his spear. Sousuke fell on his knees, his body incapable of resisting gravity.

He looked up... only to see the dull brown of a the ceiling rather than the azure sky he loved so dearly.

'So this is how it ends...'

He closed his eyes and waited for his time on this world to end...

*Schick*

He felt the blade of an axe tear through his body before passing out into unconsciousness.

As his mind drew to a close, he felt a sliver of his memory return...

'I'm sorry, whoever you are... that I couldn't keep my promise.... to see you again.'

The savages grabbed the body of Sousuke and lifted it off of the ground and held it in the air. Chanting victoriously, they moved towards the arena to prepare they're newest 'trophy'

-With Pedobear-

The others were beginning to wear down. No matter what they did, it just wouldn't die.

"Pedobear, Pedobear, Pedobear, Pedobear," chanting filled the arena.

"Now what." Mick said, his body tired from the punishment he kept receiving. Then he wished he didn't ask.

Littlemore than two dozen savages walked into the arena carrying spears. The head of the little party held a large wooden pole. On the pole was the bloody body of the guide they met earlier. An axe was imbedded into each of his arms and legs, his body held aloft on the pole by a large number of spears.

"Fuck..."
