Naruto The Aftermath (destruction of konoha

#1
So recently I've been playing around with the idea of the sand/sound invasion succeeding. Konoha is destroyed. So what would logically follow that, obviously not everybody would die, so they would be scattered. Naruto being the main character would of course want to find his friends and rebuild. For Naruto and the bulk of team 7 there is only one place that makes sense to fall back to, Wave. Jiraiya being one of the Sannin and having a spy network I imagine he would be able to find Naruto there eventually and have survived, from there, it would make sense if he started hunting down other members of the leaf but I don't have many ideas of where to go from there, any thoughts?

Wave does not make sense to fall back to, for one it's a fishing village that has zero defenses and secondly if Konoha was just recently destroyed any surviving ninja would probably want to regroup at more secure place. A sensible thing would be to go to the capital of Fire or to any of the Fire Temples that scattered about or to any of the abandoned Uchiha hideaways.

I'm not necessarily saying rebuild in wave. I'm talking about what would make sense to scared teens who just watched their homes burn. In Wave they have friends, people they can trust.

For Naruto that's kind of key. Sasuke might fall back to whatever that one town is if he even knows where it's at at this point in time. Sakura's best shot is probably wave too. Strategically you're correct, for a kid licking their wounds not so much. I figure the best place to rebuild would be Whirlpool.
