Desperado with Trigun?
The Trigun one uses the english dub which is instant failure.
Dubs don't suck, bad dubs suck.

And the English dub for Trigun is pretty good.

I understand why you prefer subtitles, I do for live action films. Anime, I'm less fussed about it, though it is more appropriate to watch some things in Japanese (Kenshin, Ranma, Samurai Deeper Kyo to name but three) and some companies seem incapable of producing decent dubs - I'm looking at you US Mangled Corpse!

Now with that cleared up, we can go about our business.

For Fatuous One and anyone else who wants to see the vid, I've uploaded an FLV version of the original Geass Harem Anime AMV. If you have any advice for how to make it AVI, I'll be grateful, but you should be able to play it in VLC or Media Player Classic.

Do you mean converting it from .flv to .avi? I use Riva FLV Encoder for that.

Full Metal Alchemist - From the Ashes is a re-telling of the story, revisioned differently from the one told in both the anime and manga using the song "Hollow" by Submersed.

It's always cool to see people try to tell a new story in an AMV format, so this gets two thumbs up from me.

A pity the creator decided to retire from AMV making after this, but you can see how much effort he dedicated to making his last piece a good one. The guy even went to the effort of getting the japanese dvds to have a full range of scenes because not all the dvds had come out in america at the time, and he wanted the best possible quality for video.
