‘Damn it's hot’ thought Naruto as he looked around, all he could see were volcanoes as far as the eye could see, ‘wait a minute’ he thought ‘where is everyone else’. “Turn around Naruto our enemy is behind you” said a voice. Naruto turned around sharply to see Sasuke standing there, a few meters in front of him was Kaguya Otstsuki the self proclaimed goddess of the world, just standing there. “Where are the others?” asked Naruto.
“They must have been left behind when we were transported here” replied Sasuke. “Anyway that's irrelevant it's up to us to finish this. If either of us die here”, continued Sasuke staring at Kaguya ,“Our world ends Naruto. Your Yang power and my Yin power can seal her and end this. If we can't do that humanity will be annihilated. We must not fail, no matter what”.
With a determined look on his face Naruto replied “I understand what your saying Sasuke”. “We have to create an opening Naruto do you have any ideas?”. “Yeah, I'll have to use that technique, I've been practicing it just in case a situation like this arose”. “Hnnnnnn If it can create an opening in here defense's it's worth a try. Alright my left eye is ready let's end this” commented Sasuke. Looking determined Naruto replied “Yeah, let's go”.
Concentrating on his left eye Sasuke announced “Amatersu” and with that announcement the black flames of Amatersu covered Kaguya. At the same time Naruto moved forward with his hands in a familiar cross shaped pattern. “Sexy reverse harem no jutsu!!!”, and a mass of naked male clones appeared. Looking at the mass of naked men Kaguya flew backwards with a massive nosebleed.
‘I can't believe that worked’ thought Sasuke. He called out “Now Naruto”, with that command both of them raced towards Kaguya with their hands outstretched trying to seal her away. Just as they were about to make contact they were frozen in place. ‘What is this’ thought Sasuke ‘Ice? Ice in a volcano!?’ ‘Just a little bit more’, thought Naruto ‘wh why can't I move and why is it so cold all of a sudden’.
With the three of them frozen in place, Kaguya started to think things through. ‘This isn't working, together they are very strong. It will be easier to separate them and finish them off one at a time’. With that a portal surrounded her and she disappeared inside.
Just as Sasuke was about to use the Amatersu technique again to release them both, a portal opened up behind Naruto, Sasuke looked on in alarm, as a hand reached out and dragged him through. Sasuke fearing the same immediately used Amatersu, with the ice melting he jumped away from where he was standing and looked around for anything like the portal that took Naruto. Not seeing anything he began to worry, his worst fears were confirmed when a portal opened where he was previously frozen and out stepped Kaguya. His true fears were confirmed when Kaguya stated “I'll be taking my chakra back now!!!”
Having been dragged through the portal Naruto was unceremoniously dropped from a great height into a sand dune. “SAND!!!!!!” he screamed out “Where the hell am I now???” Having been in [size=medium]Six Paths Sage Mode for the fight with Kaguya, Naruto felt the power slip away due to the fall and loss of concentration. With the release of the Six Paths Sage Mode Kurama questioned his host. [/size]“What happened Naruto? Where is Sasuke and Kaguya?”
I don't know Kurama, we had began to fight Kaguya and were about to seal her, when we were trapped in what appeared to be a giant ice block. The next thing I knew we were dumped here alone.” Kurama began to think about the implications of being alone, “Naruto was there anybody else there with you and Sasuke when you were fighting Kaguya?” “No, There wasn't, We were alone. Why, Is it important? We were just about to seal her away when I ended up here”. “Hmmmm, I think we have a huge problem.” “Of course we have a problem they are there and we are here! We have to find a way to get back to Sasuke and seal Kaguya.”
“Naruto do you know of a way to cross dimensiones? Because I don't and without a way to get back to Sasuke we are stuck here until Kaguya comes back.” Said Kurama gently already fearing the worst. Naruto thought about it for a minute and then suddenly exclaimed “Wait a minuet the Toads!. The Toads should be able to reverse summon me back to Mount Myoboku”. “That could work Naruto but how do we get to Sasuke? Remember he is in a different dimension as well”. “One thing at a time Kurama we’ll cross that gap when we get to it.”
Biting his thumb and drawing on his chakra Naruto call out, “Kuchiyose no Jutsu”slamming his hand upon the ground, the summon circle and lots of smoke appeared indicating a toad had arrived but nothing else happened. “What!? No way” exclaimed Naruto, he tried again “[size=medium]Kuchiyose no Jutsu”[/size], But still no toads answered his call. Again and again he tried with the same result. No toads and a lot of chakra wasted.
After five minutes of fruitless trying Kurama decided to step in. “Naruto it's not working, stop wasting chakra”. “But Kurama it's the only way we're going to get home”. “I realise that, but after five minutes, even you should be able to understand that a jutsu that you know and can use, isn't working”. Said Kurama frustratingly “What do you mean by ‘even I should understand’”. “Look at the bigger picture Naruto, the jutsu isn't working, and Kaguya could be back any minute”.
“NO, what do you mean by ‘even I should understand’”, said Naruto angrily. “I have to get back, everyone is depending on Sasuke and I to stop this madness and end the war”, He snapped. “Look Naruto I understand, I really do, but with our only means of getting home not working, we have to look at the bigger picture. Kaguya could return any minute, and with you and Sasuke separated you can't beat her. It needs the two of you working in tandem to seal her away.” Kurama snapped.
Having the wind taken from his sails with that comment Naruto deflated “I'm sorry Kurama, I didn't mean to get angry at you. But with everyone depending on me to use this power the pressure is building up, and I didn't mean to take it out on you”, after thinking for a few seconds “So what should we do now?” he asked. “Well for starters we need to move somewhere not too far from here. This is where she left us, so it's only natural this will be the first place she comes back to”
Naruto looked around, “Um Kurama in case you didn't know we are in a desert, there's nowhere to hide here.” “I know that but moving from here will give us an advantage, she left us here and here she'll probably return. We don't have to go far, just a few hundred meters should give us enough time to prepare for when she arrives.” “Right let's get to it then” said Naruto.
After moving a few hundred meters from where they arrived, “This should be far enough I think, We seem to be on a higher dune than what we were before, at least she'll have to come uphill to get to us”. Kurama didn't reply. “Hey Kurama” Naruto shouted did you hear me. “Yes I did Naruto, but there seems to be a problem.” “What else could go wrong today” griped Naruto. “Well for some strange reason my chakra seems to be weaker than it normally is.” “What do you mean weaker?” asked Naruto concerned for his friend.
“Well I seem to have as much as before, but it feels weaker than usual. If I had to guess I'd say not as potent as usual. I'm not sure, what's happened.” Mused Kurama. Naruto thought about it for a few minutes and had an idea. “Perhaps it's because we aren't in our home dimension any more?” “Possibly” replied Kurama, “But keep it in mind when we have to fight. Things might not turn out the way we want.”
With that Naruto sat down in the sand, thinking about what Kurama said, “Well if that's the case we better find out what differences if any there are.” and began to meditate and draw upon their chakra.
** Heaven **
Sitting upon his throne in the seventh level of heaven god began to feel a power coming from the mortal plane. ‘Hmmmm what is this?’ he thought, ‘I have never felt anything like this before, it feels like my own power but slightly different. Almost like a different flavour.’ With that the doors burst open to the seventh level and the Archangel Michael burst in with several others looking concerned.
“Father!” he burst out, “can you feel that energy coming from the mortal plane”. “Yes I can my son, but I do not know what it is. It feels holy, but at the same time tainted with something, I can't quite describe what it is”. “Could it be something new that our enemies have been working on?” stated Michael. “I am not sure my son, but I must investigate what it is”.
“But father surely one of use can investigate this matter for you.” gesturing towards the assembled angels. “There is no need for you to worry yourself over this, you are needed here.” said Michael. “No” said God standing up “This is something I must do myself, I feel that this is something beyond anything that you have seen before”. God then turned to the side and began to open a portal, he looked back at the gathered angles and smiled, “Michael I leave you in charge until I return. This shouldn't take very long”. With that God entered the portal and disappeared.
Stepping out of the portal God noticed a large power source off to one side. He turned to look at what it was and saw a young teen surrounded by a power that felt like his own, but at the same time different, he noticed that the teen had powered down slightly, but still seemed weary.
** Earlier in the Desert **
Finally entering [size=medium][size=medium]Six Paths Sage Mode[/size], Naruto commented “Your right Kurama, your chakra feels different than before. I can't explain it either it feels less potent than normal”. Just as Kurama was about to reply they both felt a surge of power, the looked towards where they could feel it coming from and saw a portal began to open. [/size]“Well Naruto it looks like our rest time is up, I hope your ready”. “I hope Sasuke’s ok” grimly replied Naruto.
Watching the portal expand Naruto began to charge up an attack to get the first blow in before Kaguya could react, just as he was about to let loose he saw an old man step out. Letting some of his power recede Naruto looked closer at the old man, Cautiously he called out “Who are you?”. The old man looked at Naruto and replied in a voice that seemed to shake the whole desert “I am the one known as God, Who might you be?”.
“My name is Uzumaki Naruto” he replied.
God studied Naruto for several moments, “I have several questions for you young Naruto”. Naruto nodded his head in acquiesce “Go ahead, but you'll need to be quick, Kaguya could return at any moment”. “Kaguya? Who is this Kaguya?” God asked thinking it was the name of a new devil.
Naruto started to give God a summary of everything that had happened up until he arrived through the portal. As Naruto was giving God his summary neither of them noticed another portal being opened back where Naruto first appeared, due to it being similar to Naruto’s [size=medium]Six Paths Sage Mode.[/size]
Kaguya Otstsuki stepped through the portal looking slightly worse for wear. Her clothing was burnt and torn in places, but physically she was not hurt at all. Looking around to see if she could see Naruto, she saw him standing on a large dune with someone else not far from where she was. Noticing the strangers power she realised it was similar to hers but seemed much stronger.
Whilst listening to Naruto’s explanation God finally noticed a rise in the strength of Naruto’s power. Not seeing any extra power coming from the teen, God began to look around for the source. As God looked around he saw a woman radiating power heading towards them. Seeing God not paying any attention to what he was saying any more Naruto sputtered to a halt and looked in the same direction as God.
“Kaguya” he hissed. God glanced at Naruto, “Is this the person you were talking about?” God asked. “Yes” replied Naruto. God just hummed thoughtfully to himself, “She looks like she has had a bit of a fight” he commented, “As I was telling you, that would have been my friend Sasuke, she split us up as we were about to seal her away, and left me here”. With that statement God looked thunderstruck.
“SEAL AWAY A DIVINE BEING!!!” he thundered, becoming very red in the face, “You presume too much child, I sense a similar power from this Kaguya as my own, and to a lesser extent from you as well.” God became livid. Naruto felt a huge amount of power radiating off God, he saw dark clouds form overhead and lighting strike the ground all around them.
Kurama sensing what was going on around them groaned in exasperation “Well done idiot, you have to learn when NOT to tell the full story to someone”. ‘Well…..’ thought Naruto, “Just get the hell out of here” he yelled. With that command Naruto shot off at full speed.
Kaguya seeing what was happening and hearing what was said, smirked, ‘This will be a lot easier than planned’, she thought to herself. Just then a lighting bolt struck the ground just in front of her. Thinking that the being in front of her was trying to attack she started to attack the being in front of her.
God seeing that Kaguya was starting to attack him, not knowing that a lighting bolt had almost hit her, turned his full attention to her. “You dare to attack me” he raged. Bringing his full light power to bear he created a sky full of light spears and launched them at Kaguya.
Seeing the spears flying towards her, Kaguya focused her chakra into the shape of a shield to block the spears. Divine power vs divine power, As the spears hit her shield most of them were dissipated, but some managed to break through and strike her legs doing severe damage. Kaguya not spending any time in this world did not understand that her power had been diminished. Once the attack was over Kaguya fell to the ground in considerable pain. Never feeling this before she became frightened. With that she created a mass of black balls, looking similar to Naruto’s truth seeking balls, she launched them at the being in front of her, but not only directly she sent some in an arc to attack the being from the side and from the rear.
God thinking that no one could stand up to his attacks looked at the cloud of debris in front of him in satisfaction. ‘Ashes to ashes dust to dust’ he thought, and with that he turned to take care of the fleeing Naruto. Looking at Naruto he failed to see the black ball's heading his way. He raised his hand to smite Naruto only to sense the incoming attack too late. Attempting to raise a barrier in front of himself at the very last minute, it was to little too late, and Kaguya’s attack hit home from all sides.
Even with her power diminished Kaguya still had enough at her disposal to do significant damage to God, almost to the point of destroying him outright. As he lay there in a huge crater with a massive hole in his torso, almost to the point that he had been cut in half, God thought about what to do. ‘What to do, what can I do?’ he thought desperately. With that he remembered what Naruto said about sealing.
God dragged himself to the edge of the crater and looked around, by this time the sand and dust had settled. As he looked around he saw a glassy area. In the middle of the glassy area lay Kaguya unable to move. As he lay there God raised his hands in the air and began to draw more power in. ‘Just a little more’ he thought, and a few seconds later he sent a beam of holy energy towards Kaguya and sealed her away into the actual desert sands inside the glassy area. ‘Done’ he thought ‘at least my children will be safe from that monster, just one last thing to do’.
Meanwhile Naruto had stopped running and turned around to watch the fight between the two divine beings. “What are you doing Naruto, we have to keep moving or we are done for” said Kurama. “It’s no point they will be able to find us no matter where we go. It’s better to save our strength to fight the winner out of this battle”. With that Naruto continued to watch the battle between God and Kaguya.
After watching the brief battle between the two deities, Naruto felt gypped “All that power and it was over in such a short time. That old man was a hypocrite, here he was getting all angry about Sasuke and I sealing away Kaguya and what does he go and do?” he griped. Just then he noticed God lift his hand towards them. Sensing his power waning, Naruto wondered what he was doing.
God feeling his power slip away, realised that he did not have enough power left to seal Naruto as well, thought of something else, ‘the void’ he thought ‘I’ll send them to the void, that should finish him off as well’. With that God used his remaining strength and opened a portal to the void behind Naruto, and with one last almighty push sent him through.
With that done God collapsed onto the ground and died.
