Alright, let me elaborate on why this debate should have never been brought to this thread.
The Hill of Swords was brought up for removal because Datvris saw that it was a source of division and thought that it was a good enough reason to remove it from the C2. Now, some of you may have forgotten, considering the age of this thread, but I'm pretty sure that I once said that I wouldn't remove a fic, once added, unless most people agreed.
And by 'most', I don't mean 51%.
The fact that HoS is considered 'divisive' and not just 'hated', means that this debate was pointless from the beginning. Granted, I have made some exceptions in the past. Perfect Lionheart's fics weren't hated by everyone, but I still purged the C2 of any trace of his existence. However, in that case, his personality more than justified it. As far as I know, nobody here has a similar problem with gabriel blessing.
If you don't like the fic, then at least recognize that some parts of it are likable and that you're not the only member of TFF.
Besides, there are plenty of more divisive fics in the C2. Just look at Ozzallos.

Ozzallo's time line angers me to no end. I don't understand why he puts Ranma into the Sailor Moon universe AFTER all the enemies have been defeated. His plot, if there is one, is often confusing, and many times I stop reading because I don't know what they're fighting against. That said he's a good writer, and better than most SM/Ranma fic writers.
I think you misunderstood the problem. The problem wasn't that I had any difficulty making a decision, because I knew what I was going to do back when this whole debate came up in the update thread.

I had successfully managed to ignore the debate and let it rage unhindered until, as I had predicted, it died down after everyone said what they had to say. Unfortunately, the debate was revived, by an adjective of all things, which ticked me off somewhat. The problem isn't that I don't know what to do about HoS. The problem is that I didn't want to have to crawl out of my hole long enough to explain it to everyone else, and would have much rather let this all blow over without my input. In other words, I was being a lazy bastard.

I'd like to recommend <a href='http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5672922/1/Wreckage' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Wreckage</a> to be placed into the C2. It's a recently started fic, but the updates have been coming quickly. It starts off much like 'Nobody Dies,' and the parallels are eerie. But while 'Nobody Dies' focused on humor and a much more stable cast, the direction this fic is taking is going more along the regular Eva canon path where everyone is still fucked up.
The story is still grim, and yet strangely feels light-hearted at times when people aren't worrying about Angel attacks. This has been recommended before I believe. The only problem is that this fic seems to suffer from a lack of page breaks, which makes reading annoying at times, but FFnet is known to devour such things frequently.

Every once in a while, I get a request from certain fanfic authors that want to increase their exposure by adding their fics to the C2. Of course, I'm not about to add anything without reading it first, and seeing as I'm the king of procrastination, I usually put off reading it and never actually end up doing it. In truth, I'm just not very interested.
But I've just realized that I could put the links here in case someone cares.

Zeebee pretty much said it, that sucks balls. but by all means if people have been presenting their shit for us to read, i'll look into them, post their stories here and we might take a look at them IF they look interesting.
