Well, whatever the case may be when it comes to Thoma meeting Subaru, he was only his own for at least four years, 'cause IIRC he has met Einhart in the manga, who was an unknown until 0079--the attack on his hometown in Vaizen was in 0074, and Subaru joined RF6 only a year after that, so...
Which mean if FORCE and Vivid are in the same universe,Thoma will meet Subaru in the next year of Vivid
They are in the same universe.

I mean if they are going to follow the timeline to FORCE.

Ignoring the smartasses above me, IIRC Shinobu had a kid or two after she and Kyouya moved to Europe.

The cast of Vivid Strike

Okay, so it's kinda refreshing to see Seven Arcs animating another Nanoha anime. Vivio got her old StrikerS look back. Einhart looks strange though.

The protag is apparently Fuuka Reventon (because Leventon sounds stupid), a delinquent? Well, that's kinda new.

I'm kinda disappointed that Chantez isn't in the cast. I mean she was a delinquent before Sister Schach set her straight.

Well, while it's not too far from being delinquent, I think, that Fuuka became a thug-hunter due to her very unpleasant expirience with them in childhood. I think it would be a good reason for her to butt-heads with Einhart, who was, for a while, a sort-of-delinquent (her hunt for the fighters ARE law-breaking)... which will lead to her befriending.

I finally got around to watching the preview and I have to say, I'm interested. It looks like it could be a more low-key story (i.e. conflicts on a smaller scale than something planet-wide or such). With something that it, I'm okay with a new main character, especially if the show gets to focus on some details of the world. And something on that level could even excuse how little of the main Nanoha cast is showing up (as of now) - they might really be too 'big' for this conflict. Though, if Fuuka is going to be going against straight up gangs and such, then of course in the back of my mind I am thinking, like, "why doesn't Vita or Signum or such just spend an afternoon or two cleaning up the streets"?

Maybe I am nitpicking with this, but there is something I want to point out - the bullies at the start of the video were all male, and I think the whole gang, from what I could see, was male. And something like that seems kind of...easy, you know? Almost...basic, you know? This series has never had a problem having female bad guys as well as good, and I mean, I guess it was never explicitly stated - only humorously assumed - that Midchilda is 95% female, but that detail just sort of feels...off. Between that, the straight-up gun that gets shown, and really the idea of a gang in the first place, I'm wondering what the agenda is there or if the details of the world might get changed up somewhat just...because.

But still, I'm interested, and if it's a strong outing then it's very appreciated. Someone on another website commented on this that 'the Nanoha series is dead now' - I don't think so, but I do think it needs a strong, solid, concise outing. I haven't read any of the manga, but both ViVid and Innocent seem to be kinda just rolling along, and the ViVid anime, by nature, is a case of 'welp, wait for season 2 to keep that going'. Force, of course, just stalled out. So yeah, another one-season show with decent pacing, a beginning, middle, end, and idea for how to get there is really what I want to see.

I think S-class and AAA-class mages simply too i,portant to be sent against such trivial treat as a gang of deliquents. A standard police force is more than enough to sent them running away as we all saw in the trailer.

IMHO, it would be an intreresting idea if Fuuka friend (Rinne) appears being infected with Eclipse-virus and thus not only force Fuuka to rely on Vivio, Einhart and her other friends (I think we all agree that hr befriending are coming, though in Fuuka's case a simply talk can do the trick XD) to deal with Rinne, since magic is useless against her.

Also it would alarm TSAB about the existence of such danger as true anti-magic weaponry.

...Huh, thinking about it, when is this set? Vivio & Einhart looked teenaged, so this might be set after Force, right? Huh, that'd...kind of open up a can of worms. I mean, Force isn't done (at least the plot isn't), so if we see how everything turned out, then...okay, I guess. That, or it'll just say 'yeah, ignore any of that ever happened' and boom, nail in the coffin basically.

That is, if I'm looking at this right. I could just be completely off. We don't have that info yet. I'll get a few more details (or see if you guys think the same thing) before asking more questions there.

I don't think this is set after or within the Force timeline. Vivio does have, and usually practices, in adult mode, so that explains her teenage look. Einhart doesn't seem to use her adult mode very much outside of fighting, and as the trailer showed, she's jogging in her normal, pre-teen look.

Ehh, I thought her adult form looked older. I'll go look it up again I guess but I didn't see the clip and think 'adult form'.

No, Vivid-Strike are ste one year before the events of the Force, but the TSAB already developed a protoypes of AEC-equipment when Thoma meet Lily, which mean the threat of Eclipse already must have been present for a long time. I just thought that heroines of Vivid-Strike could haave meet one of the very first infectees?

Just found out the movie will be played on my home city. What should I do? I don't know if I want to see Signum job at the big screen. On the other hand it's a Nanoha movie in a movie theater.

Soft spoil me, without details, does she jobs too hard? How's the Wolks overall participation in the film (are they useful?)?
