The Noble Roses: Chapter seven can be found Right here

Still needs a bit of fine tuning, but the general insanity of it is there. This is the guilds first taste of actual combat since initiation, and sets the tone for what they can expect as they train in the emerald forest in the months to come.

Jaune was standing back to the tree, supporting Mora, who was standing on his shoulders and working on replacing a sensors powercell.

Its Nora.

Jaune was fairly confident it was due mostly to lucon his part, but he’d so far survived.

Its luck on

Its nice to see that Jaune is still a good, but not yet exceptional, tactician and that while he does lack understanding of his powers he is brave enough to fight even when afraid. Also his dorky and emotional self is entreteining as always.

As for team RWBY the difference in experience between the sisters and their patners is evident, not only in the use of their Guild powers but also in combat in general. And this was before Ruby showed the real combat potential of her profession.

A shame we didn't see more of Glinda, but she is already a master huntress so when her time to shine arrives she will sweep all oposition.

Thanks, noticed some other typos and cleaned them up as well. Added a bit here and there, but everything should be pretty final now.

Jaune is in an interesting situation. His skill as a firebrand is coming along nicely, but hes still wildly inexperienced as a huntsmen. His secret will come to light soon, though I won't be doing it in the same fashion as we saw in canon.

The rest of Team JNPR is being held back a bit by what they lack in terms of their profession and it's progression. Nora won't be complete till she has a chance to invent all her various tools, while Ren's class is missing half it's dynamic. Pyrrha though, hers is going to take a lot of time.

On the RWBY side, we have three scholar archetypes and a solder archetype. Weiss and Blake are awakening their abilities at a good pace, attack skills coming much easier than utility spells. Ruby and Yang know their classes in and out, Ruby more so than Yang.

Glynda will get her time in the son, and it will be glorious. Almost as glorious as her revised outfit, when the time comes.
