Note: Been reading Gold Digger and replaying KotOR amongst other things, and the ideas kind of mixed on me when I found my copy of the novelization of The Harvest episode of Buffy.

Edit: Misspelled the name, could someone change it for me, it should be The Rogue Knight

Sometimes his luck sucked, Xander mused as he trudged through the wilderness.

In hindsight, dressing as a Sith Lord may not have been the brightest idea, but at least he ended up with one that wasn't a deranged lunatic.

Of course, in the end the being that he had become for that night was closer to a mix between the Sith and Jedi ideals, not that it helped when Revan ended up in a dual with a wizard while trying to deal with the source of the problem.

At least the spell forcing the possession had ended in that last second, letting him regain control of his body, albeit with access to a lot of Revan's training and the gear had remained real, whether that was intended by the original spell or having more to do with him getting blasted out of its reach or any of a thousand other factors.

However, now he was stuck here, wherever the hell here was.

God, he hated his life.

No friends, no family...

Well, no family wasn't quite that big of a loss considering the way his treated him, and well, no Deadboy either.

He still wished that there were some supplies with him, or at least a goddamn map to some form of civilization.

At least it wasn't a desert, memories of the wastes of Tatooine were more than enough to turn him off the sands for life. That was one of the few worlds that could convince him that glassing a planet could actually be beneficial for the universe.

The Revan in him could see nothing but the most pathetic of lifeforms ever coming from that dust ball.

A distant crash drew his attention to a dust cloud with the characteristics of a bomb blast as well as weapons fire.

"Great," he muttered while moving towards the now familiar sounds of battle, "Out of the desolace and into the warzone."

Okay, so a crazy lunatic on some sort of repulsorcraft was fighting what appeared to be a flying Cathar that was throwing energy blasts around, he still wasn't quite sure what kind of force adept she was, but flying under her own power was unexpected.

At least it proved that the primitive dirtball had some decent tech, and the possibility he could call for a pickup or get a way out himself.

Part of him wished that he had HK with him, at least then he could let the sociopath have some fun and get some goodwill out of the droids homicidal tenancies.

A glare up at the sky, "Why can't I have a fucking break?"
