Usagi, in the anime if you pay attention was actually deeply traumatized by the dark kingdom and seeing all her loved ones die. Her first instinct when she got her memories back is screaming bloody murder. She was about to actually hurt Chibiusa out of anger when Rubeus captured the senshi instead of her. Because Chibiusa was not even worth one of the senshi at this point to her. She consistently snapped if it even looked like the others were in actual danger. This was where her "I won't allow anyone to be sacrificed` mentality came from in the anime.

If Naru died earlier, that mentality would occur earlier. That whole normal girl thing she wanted throughout the first season would disappear. The moment she got the ginzuishou, she would be walking to dark kingdom to punch Beryl and Metallia in the face.

The rise, fall, and ultimate redemption of Professor Soichi Tomoe.

A story idea I have I'm thinking I may write.

I'm expecting it would chart Soichi's growing up, his becoming a reputed scientist, marriage and a child, his outcasting from the scientific community, eventually leading into the Mugen arc, with a different-but-still-tragic ending to give him some redemption at the end.

Thoughts, anybody?

If Pluto qualifies as a planet, there must be dozens of Senshi, because more planetoids like Pluto are being discovered every year.
The only thing that qualifies a Celestial Object as a planet is if it has a Sailor Crystal or not. If it doesn't have one it is just a big dead chunk of rock.

I have been trying to figure out a way to fuse Hunter-Killer with Sailor Moon.

Why? To deal with the question of power and abuse. I've seen people on this board complain about the Senshi, and imply that they're abusing their power. Suggesting that it should be divided up so no one person has too much. So I want to show them an organization that honestly abuses it's power even if it is for the greater good, and show how they'd clash with the Senshi and Usagi's ideals and methods.

H-K is an organization set-up (originally) to hunt down Ultrasapiens. People gifted with powerful abilities some of whom were a danger to themselves and others (example a ten year old girl who spread death in a 1km radius just by living). They were in fact ruthless, amoral, and far to quick to kill or vivsect rather than contain.

H-K is needed as some of these Ultrasapiens can wreck untold havoc on humanity. But their methods can leave much to be desired, and their leader 'Morningstar' is similar to Mass Effects Illusive man.

So when an amoral organization with a noble goal sees a group of teenage girls fighting monsters they're going to take an interest.

Now, I'm not saying this is an auto win for H-K. They've been tricked by Jackie Estacado (allowing him to escape) and honestly go rolled by Cyberforce, but the do have the resources to make the Senshi's life difficult.

On the plus side Ellis the man pictured above. Feels H-K is necassary but is unlikely to let them go so far as to harm the Senshi. Aside from his power (mimicking the powers of Ultrasapiens) he's pretty good at planning, getting people to work together, and is a fairly talented fighter even without his abilities.

So we have a three sided conflict, H-K on one, The Senshi on the other and Ellis and his allies trying to find the best resolution to this clash.

Question, Transhumanism (as seen in games lit Parasite Eve, Prototype and Deus Ex) would that fit into the future as seen in Sailor Moon? Also, how would the future ruler of crystal tokyo react to people that want to alter their base human form?

Random idea for a Sailor Moon/Wheel of Time cross over.

There are seven spokes on the Wheel of Time, each representing an Age. A full turning brings the world full circle, ready for time and history to repeat itself again. It is simple, elegant, an eternal engine driven by the One Power, but there are problems with it. Metal ores will become depleted, oil may or may not have a chance to replenish, and the damage done to the world will build and build.

The eternal battle of the Dark One and Dragon will destroy the world by attrition if some power does not exist to oppose it. Sailor Moon is that power. She is a creature of the counter-cycle, born into only a single Age each turning of the Wheel (possibly the Sixth or Seventh). She is the female counterpart to the Dragon, the apex wielder of saidar to his saidin. Where he fights wars, she mends the Earth. She is the Moon Princess, and hers is the power of creation. When the Sun burns low she restokes it fire. When the Earth runs barren from the blood and salt spilt upon it, she makes it fertile again. She is the replenishing force which allows the Wheel to turn eternal, unless, of course, the Dark One's forces can strike her down.

I don't come on often, but I had an old idea you lot might appreciate.

The role of the outer senshi is to serve as guardians to the Queen/Princess. Uranus is her sword, her offense. Neptune is her shield, the defender. Pluto is the Sage, explaining her far removed role and the fact that she has an attack powerful enough that it's whispered. Saturn is the executioner as well as the last resort, a weapon that should never be used.

The idea in all this? Take that first part, Uranus and Neptune as the sword and shield, and toss it into canon. Maybe they wake up around the start of the series, and they see their priority is to assist the Moon Princess (which they know is Usagi from the start... possibly.) If you have their assistance be before Usagi finds Ami you could have an interesting conflict, the still amnesiac Luna and possibly Artemis confused as to whom these extra Senshi are, and why they're so protective of Sailor Moon. You could even have this lead to character conflict between them and the 4 Inners. And for humor value, have them know that Usagi is the princess the whole time but don't have them mention it until Venus shows up... purely because they thought the girls knew and were trying to throw off Beryl's forces and the two Senshi/play dumb.

The biggest issue is how the general public reacts to it, as Usagi herself probably wouldn't care. Given her willingness to let the Black Moon Clan -- who were outright terrorists, head off to Nemesis in the original timeline, she seems to have a fairly hands off approach ...though she might be a bit more proactive in the new timeline.

Though I could see there being some issues with Parasite Eve or Prototype type of transhumanism given the side effects to innocent people and how at the very least the Prototype version is merely a sentient virus mimicking the person it killed. As well as both also sorta seem like the type of dickish power up that Chaos might offer. But Deus Ex seems like it'd be perfectly fine ...and might even be something that Hotaru or Ami introduce after reverse engineering Professor Tomoe's cybernetics or getting access to cybernetics used in elsewhere in the galaxy.

Hmmm so Future Usagi would likely have little issue with Deus Ex style augmentations.....makes sense. They were originally designed as replacement limbs for accident victims and vets. I guess that means she would have nothing against nano-augmentation, though I do wonder if the 'Helios: ending' to Deus Ex Inisible War would be something she would support. I mean in that ending all humans are uplinked and opinons taken on every issue.

Though I don't think they reach Consensus on every issue.

I could see her liking it in theory but being pretty worried about the dangers of the "everyone being uplinked" bit given some of the potential dangers -- eldritch abominations running around capable of driving entire world's insane merely as a side effect of their presence or that act as the corruption and what might happen if somebody currently uplinked encounters them. Sure Usagi can likely heal most of the damage, but it's still likely to be unpleasant, and computer security probably would have to start on the same level as Firewall from Eclipse Phase when it comes to levels of paranoia and ruthlessness.

Also there's the question of whether the Senshi are mentally similar enough to regular humans to join the uplink -- always possible that they might run into the same problems as the Shadowrun Dragons, especially as they're not entirely physical entities -- and ...well the dangers of them doing so. At least in Usagi's case, who can be viewed as being as much as cosmic horror entity as Chaos' spawn are for all that she happens to pretends to be human. If everyone else is capable of feeling her full presence through the uplink, you're probably going to get the same effect as a psycher's looking at the GEoM or seeing Cthulhu in CoC.

A bit of a necro post but I just want to hear your thoughts on this idea.

Who is Suda 51?

(And don't worry about necros. Threads like this exist to have ideas put in them)

Suda 51 is the guy that came up with Killer 7 and No More Heroes. Games about heroes being anti heroes but doing so in the way that's so off the rails that the plot stops making sense beyond the very basic premise and turns into a fun joy ride/train wreck.

Ero-Sennin's Beautiful Destroyer Sailor Moon has some of that. Over the top violence, extreme actions and a good dose of humour.

Here is an idea to try out, and a pairing. Hotaru x Sammy, aka Usagi's little brother.

How about in the early years of crystal Tokyo after serenity has taken the thrown Hotaru has to confront a new evil and Sammy ends up helping her while the other sailor soldiers are running errands and diplomatic missions around the world.

Yes I am purposely excluding chibi moon because if done by the manga time line they would all be most likely married and it would have been a thousand years in the future. However if you do this in the anime time line then you can since it has been nearly ten years at least given chibi usagi's apparent age.

Hmm... so I was going through Deviantart when a pic caught my eye:

It made me wonder: what would have happened if the Outers had awoken first along with Moon, Saturn aside? How would Usagi have developed as a character with their influences?

...my mind exists solely as a gutter, and it keeps pointing to Michiru and Haruka before putting Setsuna and Usagi next to each other.

*blinks* Huh. I wonder if there's a fic with those two...

EDIT: And lo my prayers are answered, partially:

I was thinking more a Setsuna/Usagi/Hotaru threesome.

Well, if you set Usagi up with Setsuna there might not BE a Chibi

No. There will still be a Chibi. A green-haired red-eyed Chibi.

... *griins*

I wonder how well a Persona 3 x SM crossover would go. One that combines the casts of both P3 and SM, or just SM with a Persona influenced setting.

Instead of fighting youma out in the streets of Tokyo, maybe the descent of the Dark Kingdom distorts time, creating the Dark Hour, and the Senshi have to conquer the headquarters of the Dark Kingdom, floor by floor.

And don't forget, during the day time both Usagi and Minato have to forge S-Links!

I was reading shadow crystal mages nanoha of 2814 and came up with an idea when Negi springfeild met the sailor senshi.

Anyway my crossover idea is what if ami was sent to mahora and ended up in class 2-a and fell in love with Negi. The botom line is it would be a Ami Mizuno X negi springfield story.

oh and I came across this image of usagi's meeting with an incubator which I think you have probably seen, sorry for just the link had a problem inserting images lately

One of Jadite's plans to drain life energy involved energy-draining clothing, right?

So, Kill La Kill/Sailor Moon cross: Ragyo catches wind of this, thinks that it's someone who's stumbled onto the secrets of Life Fibers, and sends Satsuki to crush the competition. Ryuuko promptly follows her with the intent of stopping her Evil Plans. They then meet the Sailor Scouts. Hilarity Ensues.

A coalition of galactic Empires (The Kree, The Badoon, the Shiar and even the Sp-arx) have decreed that “Earth is off limits” and by doing that they’ve painted a giant target on the planet. At the same time Wolverine did some time traveling (As X-men are won’t to do) and broke reality. These two events convince some older more experienced heroes to come out of retirement, namely the Sailor Senshi.

You see, according to my research (well according to the New Amazing Spider-man #1), Peter Parker became Spider-man 13 years ago when he was 15 in the year 2001. Sailor Moon is set around 1992 and appears to have run for about five years. So if Usagi was about 14 in1992 she’d be 36 by now. You could play with the timeline a bit, have her begin around 1995, so her adventures end around 2000 (which makes sense as Thor, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Spider-man begin showing up around 2000/2001) giving her an age of 33 at present.

So, until now Usagi was content to let the younger generation of heroes solve problems, and they were doing an admirable job. The FF forced a Senshi Nightmare like Galactus to retreat so why not leave things in their hands? Well recent events force her to step forward again, and her friends join her.

Although the All-Mother of Asgard claims earth as her realm, Usagi (since the Silver Millennium would’ve occurred before Odin, the Celestials etc) Actually has rights to the world. There will of course be a disagreement about that, but since their goals do align an agreement might be reached, say the current younger incarnation of Loki is assigned to Usagi’s side as she travels about the galaxy to convince the rulers of the various empires to remove the bull’s-eye they placed on earth (not an easy task). At the same time she and her friends (and Loki!) are trying to figure out who broke reality and how they can fix it.

So Usagi will have the chance to interact with the likes of Asgard (Thor, Loki, Warriros three etc), Doctor Strange, Iron Man and others. The fun part of this is that (except for Captain America) no one else has been doing this as long as she has, and when it comes to galactic politics her name carries a bit of weight and reverence since she did stop Sailor galaxia. So Usagi and friends will actually be in a position to tell some of Marvel's finest just how stupid their actions have been. Personally I would LOVE to write the scene where Sailor Pluto dresses the ENTIRE X-Clan down for their time traveling antics.

Thoughts?
