Random thought: Ranma finds the unicorn, and while he, Akane, and Nabiki can touch it, Kasumi can't.

Maybe it was a blind unicorn. That's the only explanation for why it would consider Akane to be pure. As purity is about more than being a virgin.

Though I did read a story where Sasuke was stalked by a unicorn.
