Ya know, if Luna ever saw some of the Magical Girl realities out there, she'd probably have an aneurysm.

Take Strike Witches for instance; they're Government-sanctioned Petting Zoo Magical Girls who fly through the air with the greatest of ease, while they fight alien invaders using Machine guns, rocket launchers, and Swords that can slice through Battleship plate armour like a hot knife through butter...
For some reason, I'm now imagining that crossed with Stargate SG1. It would be a very difficult crossover to do, and not be completely silly.

I'd read it.

Why should she just kill a General, after all we are taking about a good mother who only wants her daughter back, she would not harm another human without a good reason...

... let her dissect Zoicite, in order to understand how does a humanoid like him can store the Life Energy that Youma steal from Earth. That would put Kunzite suspisious and wary of the new arrival.
You do realise that all the Generals are more powerful than Yagami right and Precia would have to be extremely lucky to hurt them.

More powerful than Yagami? What are you smoking? If anything, Hayate its the more powerful of the TSAB's Golden trio..........at full unrestrained power, she can turn good part of Japan into Hiroshima-styled craters.

Add, that the TSAB has the advantage of the spell that lets them fight on another parallel dimension, in order to avoid damage, and that the knowledge of magic gets leaked. This means that the TSAB Aces, specially, Fate and the Wolkenritter will go full out against those that consider a threat to Nanoha's welfare.....

Besides.....Precia its nuts, its with a mission, and its a bloody psychotic mother that will flip off Lucifer himself, in order to heal Alicia. Even if she's on a situation of power inferiority, don't EVER forget that she was one of the creators of Project F, alongside Jail Scaglietti...

Well . . . if we're going by the anime, everything in SM is weaksauce except the Silver Crystal, IIRC.

If we're going by the manga, everyone starts at HAX and then it gets serious.

So Precia is either better than them but dealing with a body that's been slowly dying for a decade . . . or she's weaker than them but far more skilled. I say that because lightning bombardment across dimensional space and real space simultaneously - which was accurate enough to only strike Fate and knock her unconscious, and powerful enough to knock the Asura offline about an hour. At the same time.

Will you consider making Fate a reincarnated Senshi somehow (an extremely unlikely possibility, but anyway)? Or has Serenity messed up just her daughter's part of the spell?

I think it's too late for that. Luna already checked Fate in the prologue, if you remember.

Beside, how would that have worked? Fate wasn't even born on Earth,.

Well seeing as how one General was able to freeze the city, And all them them can take the Senshi's attacks The weakest of which IIRC can take out a building. Then yes I'll call them more powerful than Yagami.

Well, there are so many ways you could mess up a reincarnation spell, if it's your reality to play with. It's magic, if the author wants it done, he'll find a way to do it. For example, Saturn. It is assumed (as far as I know) that Outers all fell before Inners, but who's to say that Senshi of Destruction simply hasn't slept through it all, only to wake up afterwards to clean up the Solar System? Serenity would be dead by then, and there'd be no one to guide Saturn's into her next incarnation so that it would coincide with the others. Who's to say that her "essense" didn't drift, waiting for a suitable host or whatever, only to be snatched up by a desperate mage looking for any means to revive her daughter; and subsequently used in Fate's creation? Just of the top of my head, simple and somewhat boring, but the author would be limited only by his/her imagination.

Nevermind. Just my personal preference-based rant. I happen to be something of a Fate-fanboy, so naturally I would try to urge the author to make her more "special" (as if she's not special as is anyway) to maximize my enjoyment. This fic would be quite fine regardless.

Hayate's weakest attacks are city-killers. :p

I dunno, I like having someone who isn't related to the whole moon kingdom/reincarnation like Fate thrown into the mix.

Actually its shown that the Outers woke Saturn after Beryl won.

Saturn erased all remnants of the Silver Millenium before sending the rest of the Outers and herself into a copy of Serenities reincarnation spell.

It is one of the reasons that Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto were originally so desperate to keep Saturn from manifesting during the Death Buster arc.

So the Outers did surive Beryl's attack? Perhaps it was so fast that they couldn't make it to the battle in time...

Anyway, that way it's even more plausible - Saturn is no Serenity, and could've messed up the spell in a way Serenity herself probably wouldn't.

Leave our awesome Fate out of that reincarnated Moon faggotry. Bad enough poor Nanoha got dragged into it.

There's something to that point of view. On the other hand, being a rabid NanoFate shipper, I can't help but point out that Senshi are immortal (or reasonably close), while TSAB mages, while long-lived, can't be said to live more than a 150(?) years - and that's pushing it, and being a brain in a glass jar. If Nanoha accepts this princess position (with the crystal and all), what'll happen after? Of course, she could grant TSAB access to SM technology, but will they be able to reverse-engineer it? Surest way for Fate to stay by her side, other than being a Senshi from the start (or a reincarnation of one, to awaken later) is to get a planetary binding (or an asteroid one, or something)...

Hmm.

Mangaverse there is no reincarnation spell like the anime. It was solely thanks to Saturn's power who destroyed the moon kingdom that allowed everyone to reincarnate. That's her whole purpose, destroy everything so new things can be born.

Being fair, you don't need to use a reincarnation thing to make Fate, a senshi. Anybody can be born a senshi from any random planet. Phobos and Deimos were Coronian and all the sol-based senshi were born on the moon.

Canonically, a senshi's power seems to run on willpower. They modify/create attacks in the middle of fights in the anime and manga with the option of making it a solo attack or city-wide, eventually planet-wide if they want.

I dunno, I just like the contrast between Fate and Mamoru and how Nanoha deals with reincarnation, my yuri shippery aside. Do you live your life as you do now, or do you let the experiences of a past life overtake your current personality?

Nanoha is the only MGLN character I'm planning to have be the reincarnation of someone from the Silver Millennium.

. . . I am detecting excessive amounts of SM-hate here.

Ironic, since Precia meant Fate to be a reincarnation of Alicia. . . and to a certain extent, she is. Fate isn't just a clone, she has some of Alicia's memories, after all.

When all is said and done, I consider Fate herself to be an example of what can happens when a person is reincarnated in an environment totally different from where the original came from. You could argue that they have different souls, but scientifically speaking, sharing both identical DNA and memories is a pretty strong argument for two people being actually the same person.

Considering Everything we've seen so far, this seems like the anime-verse (which does give you more options since it went to greater detail than the manga). That means, everyone but Moon (Who is Nanoha in this one), Saturn, possibly Pluto and the main bad guys like Metallia, Wiseman, Pharaoh 90, and Galaxia would be weaker than than everyone from MGLN.

Thus Precia should be able to win against Beryl in a straight up fight. Problem is, Precia's dying, has no power source, no device and has a slave collar to control her. Still, that's not something she can't overcome. Beryl made a mistake letting her keep her mind, she should have killed her or brainwashed her.

Keep in mind guys, Nanoha, Fate and Hayate are some of the strongest people in the Nanoha-verse. I mean, how many S-class mages have been shown? Comparing an S-class mage against most Senshi is like compairing a Hokage against random ANBU. No contest.

Your basic C or B class mage against a Senshi on the other hand. . .

Besides, Hayate's as frail as a twig. She might have superior firepower, but a simple kick could bring her down.

Yeah, Hayate is not someone who fight at close range... Maybe not as frail as you said, but her attack options are pratically non-existent.

But remember that if you do kick her down, some people will show up to make sure you will never have the chance to do it a second time :D .
