That's assuming she has someplace to run to. Her original base is destroyed, and she isn't exactly in great condition. Attempting to use the Jewel Seeds to boost her power would effectively announce her exact location to the TSAB. Besides, Unadministered Planet #97 is the only world that she has currency for.

She also doesn't want to let Alicia know that anything is wrong.

I am going to assume that she knows some kind of anti-scrying spell. If such spells didn't exist, Fate would have used a Wide Area Search spell to track Signum to her home address within a week of As starting.

No, Alicia is not Saturn, but she is going to meet Saturn. And from Alicia's perspective, Hotaru isn't strange at all. Where she comes from, people with strange, magical abilities are the norm.
Another point is waiting to make sure Alicia is stable. Is that lifeforce injection a one time deal, or will she need regular treatments?

In addition there is the theory 'don't run, it makes you conspicuous'.

On a side note I wonder if Fate's past with Precia and Nanoha comes out over it will change how she is pigeonholed in Luna's mind? From 'foreign interloper' Fate might be switched over to 'personal vassal to the Princess in this life'.

Heck if Luna was a bit more rational she'd eventually twig onto the fact that a Princess and a court of seven (four Senshi, two mooncats, and a consort) doesn't make much of a nation. They'd need a power base, being able to learn and teach magic could be a start.

So killing others to prolong Alicia's life? I can see Precia having no trouble with that but now I'm wondering if Alicia will become a Death Seeker if she discovers the truth behind her new life.

Bonus points if she asks Fate to be the one to finish it.
Well, that's a pretty horrible thing to do to poor Fate.

She robs a bank and uses the money to get some fake IDs and takes a plane to Australia until she recovers enough to slip out of the planet. Her not thinking of this can be explained by the fact that she's insane.

But the simple fact is that she shouldn't be a factor anymore.

I'm up for seeing some delicious character drama and what better way to do it by putting Fate in that situation?

Actually, the reason why that wouldn't occur to her is that she's lived her entire life on a planet with a world government. She hasn't grasped the concept of skipping a country without skipping the planet as well.

But you're right. Precia has no reason to cause additional trouble so long as Alicia is healthy. That doesn't change the fact that trouble, in the form of Zoicite, is actively looking for her.

Also need to take into account that Precia isn't exactly sane here. She ight be acting somewhat rational/stable at the moment, but she's quite messed in the head ( unless between the end of first season Nanoha and passing through to the Dark Kingdom she suddenly got her head on straight. Her mental thought bout Fate seems to indicate otherwise IMO )

Just guessing here, but I figure the borrowed/stolen lifeforce that brought Alicia back is slowly going to disappear/get used up with her getting worse and worse. Driving Precia to frantically do more and more drastic things to keep her alive and well, to hell with anyone else.

Just a guess on my part though :huh.:

EDIT: Just realized I missed several other posts that pretty much say the same thing. I'll shut up now :unsure!:

Ah, yet another conversation that I'm glad I'm not having out loud in a pub.

I already pointed out that she's insane. And any confrontation is going to really mess with Alicia.
