So do I, MoB...so do I...
We can form a treesome in our sorrow.

...

Wait, that doesn't exactly sound like the way I want it to sound... help?!

I'm still salty from the fact that Keima didn't choose Tenri. She deserved to win.
I really hate when people phrase things like that. Even if they are fictional, people aren't prizes to be won.

Well, some people do consider love as a competition, (and in Keima's case a game), so there are eventually winners and losers.
Except maybe Tenchi, and possibly Issei.

We're on a forum which is used to things like best girl, waifu .. etc. Can we please not bring in reality (unless needed for a fic) into a discussion about how people are not objects to be won or lost? Hmm.. for that matter, as mentioned above, Keima probably had an unusual view of the world, so that might well be how he saw things.

While I wouldn't say that Tenri deserved to win, she most certainly deserved a hell of a lot better than carrying her rejection letter around for the last ten years because time paradox-stable loop shenanigans. Hell, just about all of them deserved better than what we got, especially in regards to the lengths he put towards reconquering Ayumi and getting Chihiro to help him do so.

And speaking of which, is there no "sisters before misters" with women? No one should have been cool with that ending!

I think the interactions between the girls is limited enough that I, at least, never considered them as a close knit group.

Of course, Ayumi, Chihiro, and Yui may be somewhat close due to being bandmates, but from what I can tell, Ayumi is quite salty from being rejected, but since she's Chihiro's friend, she's just decided to support her or whatever. Yui even outright expressed that she's not giving up winning Keima over.

Shiori and Tsukiyo just became friends after the whole thing was over and probably didn't particularly mind being rejected. I can't remember how Kanon took it, but I guess she's fine with it too I suppose. Finally, Tenri and Diana just comfort each other.

Oh right, Haqua is in the race somewhere, but I forgot how she took it and am too lazy to look it up.

Well, we can all agree that Elsie is the biggest winner here, since she gets to live a normal life as Keima's sister, and not some WMD.

I was referring to the fans themselves in that regard. Should have made that clearer.

While conveniently ignoring/forgotten that Keima went all wedding day to win her affection because she wanted something more serious from him. And that cuts both ways, as Chihiro's all like, "You play with her heart, I'll break you" but throws that to the wayside when she's the one that's getting the goods. I mean, it'd be a good drama piece if there were more story to tell and this was just a short turn of events, but it's the epilogue. You could understand some of the girls not being too hung up on Keima, and some multi-partner relationships are just like that -- not everyone is in it because of their deep-rooted feelings for the guy, but for shallower reasons that aren't enough to get them kicked off the island, or useful enough to screw with another party -- but all of them basically going, "We'll be okay"? With Goddesses still very much part of them?

You know, I forgot about Elsie likely being involved with those shenanigans in the first place... <_<

Still, it was a grossly unsatisfying and rushed conclusion. The Time Warping did nothing but make an unneeded mess out of things that didn't need explaining and set the stage for "A wizard did it" justification as to why he's getting out of the TWGOK game.

And in this instance, we can't even rely on Fanfiction for a satisfying conclusion.

Haqua was mind-wiped, maybe with some foreshadowing that she remembered bits and pieces, don't really recall

Everyone but Keima was mind wiped about Elsie, but remembered everything else. Which is a shame, since Elsie and Haqua were friends.

Shippers on 4chan Being Salty About Keima/Chihiro

Not quite as entertaining as IchiRuki shippers, but, there's some moments there.
At one point in my life, I would've done this shit. Or maybe I had already done this shit, but couldn't remember it.

Well, at least with this I can look back and say, "well, that was entertaining,"

Unlike those guys, I could see the possible development, so I wouldn't be all blindsided or whatever, thus I wouldn't have been making a ruckus about it. Simple, "Ugh, well that happened," and probably moved on.

That first image can't be Haqua. Breasts are too large :p

Who is the last image of? I don't remember her, one of the villain girls?

Yeah, that's Lum. She was a pretty minor character in the manga, but her design and character trait made her pretty popular, which caused her to replace Fiore in the Anime.
