Naruto Times the anime one-upped the manga

As the title says, moments when you thought that the anime improved, enhanced, or just did more than the manga (besides the fact that it was in color and motion).

I'll start it out with two:

1) Giving Tenten actual techniques to use.

2) At least trying to incorporate the Sanbi (bijuu) and Rokubi Jinchuuriki more firmly into the plot.

Having a good soundtrack is about the only thing that comes to mind from the very early on when I still watched the anime. It's too bad that it has so much shitty filler, and even shittier animation, so I'll always consider the anime to be vastly inferior.

Making Naruto a god with the ladies.

Getting him his first kiss.

Expanded canon on Iwa clans and relationships between various clans across villages.

Extended time for lesser characters like Lee, Tenten, Neji, etc...

The latest one with Neji telling Konohamaru and friends of a mission during the Chunin Exam attack was rather nice for Hiashi-time.

naruto shippuden 186 in my mind it reminded me just how much of a bad ass part 1 naruto could be when he cut the crap and got down to business the uzumaki naruto barrage with a rasengan finisher was epic

I think Jiraiya's death scene was better for being animated. By which I mean 'the entire sequence against Pein', not just the actual moment of dying.

Sometimes the anime makes me think of <a href='http://www.mangareader.net/881/takemitsu-zamurai.html' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>takemitsu zamurai</a>, except there the cartooniness is done well.
