Nasuverse Topic Idea (not sure if I would ever write it tho)

It has been about decade or more since the fifth Holy Grail War and everyone has continued with their lives.

However, Rin of the HF route has already been pushing the limits of conventional magecraft and has decided to do some jeweled/Zelretch research. This results in Rin asking Shirou to recreate the Jeweled Sword.

Yet, some unknown flaw occurred when Rin decided to test it out and ends up tearing several dimensions asunder. These dimensions are basically meshed together.

However, physically contradictions that cannot occur do occur and forces Gaia to reset the newly created dimension to a point before the contradictions occur(i.e. right before the grail war).


Serious situation:

Basically everyone has knowledge of what has already occurred in some variations if they were alive by that time. In other words, Shirou in this new dimension has all knowledge from all endings except for the Normal Ending of HF while Rin would know of all endings in Fate Stay Night. Besides the utter mind collapse that Shirou would have for a while because of his ideals, new decisions are made by everyone.


Comedic situation:

Shirou and others have knowledge from every possible parallel universe, including crack universes. Think of the mind induced trama.

I'd much rather this were modified so that rather than ripping the universe apart and forcing it to mesh with itself, Shirou and Rin simply "wound" it, creating a vortex that sends them off into an unknown dimension. Bonus points if they can leave the place, but there's no guarantee that wherever they land in will be home.

Because, yanno, a crackfic featuring a dimension hopping Rin and Shirou spanning several AU variants, crossovers, and massive Shirou vs Rin vs Shirou vs Rin fights would be EPIC.

For something as intricate and complicated as Type-moon, throwing in a mishmash of AU's feels like a bit of a copout to me. Secondly Rin knows how dangerous magic is. To even think about messing with the Jeweled sword without a shit load of research isn't just beyond dangerous, it's irresponsible and careless on her end. She would be EXTREMELY careful. Either she wouldn't allow a mistake, or she would never mess with the jeweled sword in the first place.

You know... I think your argument would be a lot more convincing for me if Hollow Ataraxia didn't exist...
