(Chapter 1, Part 1)

The year was 19XX, a small planetoid meteorite had recently entered Earth’s orbit. A small multi-national team of Astronauts was sent up to investigate the miniature planetoid. The rock's surface was no different than any other asteroid of its kind. However, there was one thing about this Asteroid that was incredibly peculiar, something that nobody would have expected to find in space…

“That’s a bucket.” Mumbled one of the astronauts in confusion, as he approached the out-of-place object. The object in question, was an overly large bucket, or dust bin, seemingly carved from stone, with a large lid seemingly bolted into place, and a strange glowing crystal in the center of the lid.

“Should we call it in?” the second spacefarer asked. It wasn’t what they were expecting to find, but it definitely was not normal.

“Let’s see if there anything inside first. Don’t want to accidentally bring any Xenomorph eggs on board.” The first casually joked, attempting to push the lid off, and ultimately failing.

“Damn, things stuck tight. Give me a hand here!”

Despite their combined effort, the lid reminded securely in place.

“Is it just me, or has that gem started glowing brighter?” The second noted, after having given up removing the space dumpster’s lid. What had once been a dull, almost unnoticeable glow, now looked like somebody was shining a torch through from the other side.

“Seriously, what is that?” The first asked, reaching over and tugging the stone out.

The moment the jewel came loose, the atmosphere changed. Despite being in space, they felt the air, or lack of it rather, thicken with a type of dread one would feel in the presence of a predator. Unnoticed, the container had slowly started shaking, slowly growing more violent as cracks grew across the surface before violently exploding outwards, throwing both spacemen backward.

In the newly formed crater stoop a small group of females, a pair of pink-haired women one tall and sensual and the other closer in size to a child alongside a hooded female holding a staff and a shorter blond clutching a menacing black sword. At the forefront of the group, a woman with ethereal white hair and a black long-sleeved dress with blood-red linings, clearly unbothered by the vacuum of space.

“Ah… After ten thousand years I’m free.”

Turning to face the fleeing astronauts, the woman allowed a sadistic grin to make its way onto her face.

“As thanks, I’ll make your death’s quick and painless.”

With a quick gesture of her arm, a pair of shows shot forth, piercing through the retreating humans heads.

“Now, it’s time to conquer Earth.”

Back on Earth, in a remote location, a partially buried and destroyed temple shook to life, alarms ringing out loudly.

“Da-Vinci! Da-Vinci we have a big problem!”

“What is it this time Solomon-Kun? Did you lose your internet connection? Did you find out Magical Mari is actually a guy?” A rather attractive woman responded to the voice coming from a revealed tube, as the stone fell away.

“Don’t even joke about that Da-Vinci! Also, it’s Romani! Romani Archaman!” The scowling face of a seemingly young man appeared.

“Sakura’s gotten free.”

The teasing response died on Da-Vinci’s lip upon hearing that.

“Should I try to contact Prince Ritsuka for aid?” The prince of Edenoi would probably be willing to offer his assistance, but it likely wouldn’t arrive for some time, and may not even be enough. Sakura was an incredibly powerful and sadistic Dark God, but 10,000 years ago, according to Solomon, she had been rather lacking in skill.

Her Lieutenants may not have been as powerful, but they made up for it with skill and technique.

“No. For now, this is Earth’s problem, and we should try and avoid dragging Edenoi into this. The last thing I want is her going after them, in case we fail to stop her here.” Honestly, the prince was far too liberal with his life in Romani’s opinion. He wouldn’t risk his people’s lives unnecessarily, but he’d throw himself into the line of fire if it meant helping someone.

“I take it I should prepare the Morphers and begin a search for suitable candidates?”

“Please do. Sakura herself won’t be able to come down, so long as I remain in this barrier. That won’t stop her lieutenants, or her familiars, however.” Romani said, grimacing.

The barrier he’d summoned up around the planet wasn’t perfect. It was like a net around the planet, Sakura herself was too big to fit through, but that wouldn’t stop her slipping some of her underlings through to try and widen the gap.

“Start a search for suitable candidates between the age of 14 and 21. Any older and the chance of them being able to establish a connection to the Morphing grid starts dropping.”

(I'm not really sure about how I've written that first part. Any ideas on how I could improve it?)
