Untitled WIP

This is a Sailor Moon/Doctor Who crossover, inspired by a post in the "Sailor Moon NGE" thread which suggested that the Sailor Scouts were vigilanties in the eyes of the law.

Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, the Commander of UNIT (UK), read over the directive from Geneva once more. It seemed that several projects that UNIT had been working on in Japan over the last several months had been disrupted by a vigilante group calling itself the "Sailor Senshi", or Sailor Scouts, his knowledge of Japanese being non-existant. Understandably, New York was getting tired of this, and had instructed UNIT to find out who these "Sailor Senshi" were, and either contain them, or if needs be, remove them.

"Captain Yates!" Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart called to his aide-de-camp. Mike Yates looked inside "the Brigs" office.

"Yes, sir?" he saluted.

"Go and fetch Miss Grant and the Doctor, and Sergeant Benton if you can find him." the Brig ordered.

"Yes sir." Mike confirmed, and left to find UNITs' Scientific Advisor and his Assistant. Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart was left with his thoughts. As was often the case, he thought back to some of the unusual misadventures the Doctor had foistered upon UNIT by his very presence on Earth. Autons, Cybermen, the Daleks, and last but not least that Rogue Time Lord chappie the Master. Mind you, to be fair to the Doctor, he always knew just the right thing to do in the situation.

Lethbridge-Stewarts' musings were interrupted by the arrival of Sergeant John Benton, a hulking rugby-forward of a man. Next came Jo Grant, a petite blond girl with an unfortunate taste for 1970s' fashion, and finally, the Doctor himself, a very tall man, for want of a better phrase, dressed like an Edwardian dandy with a green velvet smoking jacket and a frilly shirt.

"Oh, really now Brigadier, this is quite tiresome. I was working on the dematerialisation circuit for the TARDIS, and those cleaners will mess around in my laboratory if I'm not there." the Doctor complained.

"Steady on, Doctor. The Brig wouldn't have called for you if it wasn't important." Jo weighed in her opinion.

"Quite right Miss Grant." the Brigadier said. He tapped the directive from Geneva that was sitting on his desk. "This came through from Geneva this morning. They say that there are some very strange goings on in Japan, and that the Commander over there thinks that it may be of non-human origin. As such, Geneva wants us to send a group to follow up on these reports."

The Doctor looked up and took the report to read. "Oh my my... Well, what do you think Jo? Care for a trip to the Mysterious Orient?" The change about in the Doctor's attitude was remarkable, and even Sgt. Benton raised his eyebrow.

"Something the matter, Doc?" the big man asked.
