Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

We might actually get a good FF movie now...

Which means there might actually be more FF comics on the horizon.

That's curious, Disney owns Fox now so I have to wonder if 'Solo' is going to be pushed back to June 01. I have heard rumors that there are more reshoots currently taking place and Solo has had a very troubled production. Perhaps Disney has decided to let May be the Month of Comic book films and shift Solo back to give it more time for Polish and more of a chance at the box office.

It has been suggested that Solo will be pushed back for a Christmas release.

If the stories of it being a troubled shoot are accurate, then they might just do that. Failing that, they could go for a late summer release. I'm not sure what to expect at the end of August, so who knows?

It occurs to me that Marvel has just obtained a host of villains that are suitable for "Phase Villains" due to the merger.

Galactus is a thing that can happen now, as well as Dr. Doom, Annihilus, and numerous X-villains. Pretty much all they had up to this point was Thanos.

What were they going to follow him up with? MODOK?

It's entirely possible that the best thing to come out of this merger is that Marvel gets a lot of its more interesting villains back.

Plus, we get the possibility of Namor, Silver Surfer, and the Fantastic Four again. Wolverine could also make his way to the Avengers as well once they kick off X-Men.

Spider-Man has some cool and memorable villains, but I'm not seeing them really being global threats for the most part. That roster could work for single movies, but not for Phase type villains that could really bring together a series of films.

I'm thinking mutants will be worked in as a new thing for the most part. There were probably a handful that existed prior to the MCU, but something happened to create a lot more. I'd guess the X-men will be mostly teens or young adults with few exceptions. The MCU is already setting up mutant powers being something the public would see as a threat. Civil War did a pretty good job of planting the seeds of the public fearing powers in general, and X-movies could pick that up and run with it.

That would explain why they weren't there for the big events going on prior to their debut.

After watching the Infinity War trailer again, I'm kind of wondering if they have the balls to kill off Peter Parker and replace him with Miles in the next Spider-Man movie?

I could see that as a really good reason for Tony to stop being Iron Man without killing off Tony Stark.

I've also heard rumors that Hugo Weaving is in talks to reprise Red Skull again, and maybe even have a cameo in Infinity War or the sequel.

There's been hints that time travel will be involved in the Avengers movie set after Infinity War (Time Stone) so they may kill off Peter and a few other people in the first part then change time to save them in the second.

I dunno that they will, but that could be used to set up Kang.

Even if they don't, that could be done retroactively if they decide to use him pretty easily.

There are rumors going around that Tom Holland's Spider-man may be making an appearance in the Venom movie.

It won't be a major role, but he's rumored to have a cameo in the film.

Other rumors are speculating that the villains in the movie will be the Life Foundation and the Sybiote spawn they create in the comics. Carnage is also going to be appearing in the movie, though it is unclear if he will be the major villain, or if he'll be appearing at the end to set up a sequel.

It also sets up the possibility that we may see a Spider-man vs Venom movie in the future. Possibly in the second or third Marvel Spider-man film.

Not sure how that dynamic will play out, as it doesn't seem like we're getting a black suit Spider-man movie.

The Spawn reboot has started casting. They haven't hired anyone yet, but the process has officially started, meaning production is starting to move.

It seems the main character isn't Spawn himself according to McFarlane, but rather Twitch. That's an interesting take on it and I can see it working. He compared the role as the script apparently stands now to Sheriff Brody in Jaws.

No way this is going to be anything but R, and that's a good thing. That's basically what killed the original I think. Most of the cast was decent given what they had to work with, and the CGI looks awful now, but was neat at the time. I personally thought Leguizamo got the tone of the Clown right. I mean, he's supposed to be an irritating bad joke until he turns into Violator. A lot of people hated it, but you're kind of supposed to.
