Today, the MLP G5 movie releases on Netflix.

I guess I will need to make a G5 topic later!

I'm down with most of the cast, but really unsure of Chris Pratt as Mario. Really think they should have gotten Charles Martnet to play him, given he's been doing it for decades. But still excited to see it.

Looks like a baller trailer. The only thing I'm worried is that there's a whole lot of villains, and the last time they tried that with Spider Man 3, it had a hard time keeping a narrative straight.

True. It didn't help that the villians in Raimi's SM3 weren't exactly the best they could be, either in terms of actors (though Thomas Haden Church was a good Sandman) or in writing.

I have hope that Sony/Marvel Studios will be able to make it work. :fingers crossed:

Turning Red, the new Pixar movie

I'm actually stoked for Spider-Man: Far From Home. I just saw that trailer while watching Ghostbusters. I think they might actually pull it off.

Sonic is looking good. Hoping we get some more video game movies that are done well like this and Detective Pikachu

I wouldn't put it past them to do that, and not even in an ironic wink at the fanbase like the Mega Man 9 boxart was. As for the high-pitched voice, one only needs to look at Mega Man 8 and the cartoon.

....cool.

I'm now imagining him trying to do the really long segment from Hardware Store.
Wonder if he could do it in a single breath?

The whole '2D conversion operation' reminds me of a Roger Rabbit fanfic I read once... Still, I like the look and tone of the trailer, and am looking forward to seeing this flick.

Speaking of Roger Rabbit and live-action/animation hybrids...
John Cena To Star In "Coyote V. Acme" For Warner Bros.
Dave Green, who previously helmed Earth to Echo and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, is directing. Chris DeFaria and James Gunn are producing the film. Screenwriter Samy Burch penned the latest draft of the script.

Wile E. Coyote is, of course, the silent and cunningly inventive mammal who is endlessly foiled in his attempts to capture and kill his nemesis and potential meal, the Road Runner. He is aided in his attempts by devices mail-ordered from Acme Corporation, which never quite work the way they are supposed to.

The feature will tell the story of a down-on-his-luck (human) attorney who takes on Wile E. as a client in his suit against Acme over its defective products, only to discover that his boss at his former law firm is representing Acme.

Cena will play the former boss in the feature.

Production is due to begin in late March in New Mexico.
