Really, I didn't see any problem with it. You see, Minato moved into the Izumo inn that night but needed a couple of days to get everything settled, nothing says that Ichigo and Minato's respective visits couldn't have overlapped.
edit: according to the Sekirei wikia, Minato gains another Sekirei, though non-canonically due to it being a video game, number 54: Kuruse.
Actually, Kuruse in the game has an ashikabi, from what I could tell. It's that she joined forces with Minato's flock to help the baby from Yahan and her ashikabi.

Touching, touching. Quite frankly, the addition of the other sekirei will remove any privacy and romantic moments Uzume will hope to have in the future.
More Sekirei will only help to confuse his feelings more as he looks for a way to not hurt them. It's hard enough with Uzume but the other person will just complicate matters more.
Bingo.
With Ichigo's powers coming back in the manga, how far will Ichigo proceed to protect Uzume even under current conditions?
Manga arc has not happened in this timeline and will not happen (unlesss something out of left field happens that we think we can use). The only things we'll use are any bits of background information that come forth that may suit our purposes.
Wheeljack, Ghostface. Whoever you add, please just don't overdo it.
That is something we're both aware of, from our early discussions about who to include and how many, with the number going up and down and up and down before making the decision on a number and to stick to it. Not to mention that we wanted to be different in some areas.
We both know that we're going to get more than a few eyebrow raises, and some of the speculation has not come close to drawing water as of yet. But we hope you do enjoy the ride, and by all means let us know what you think, good or bad.

Considering how much time & effort it is taking Uzume to gain a very special place in Ichigo's heart, I wonder how things will go with other Sekirei, if any. I suppose brothers/sisters-in-arms will be the gist of it, especially when the 'game' kicks into high gear.
This is one of the things we're hoping to portray right, as Ichigo at this point believes one sekirei per ashikabi. And as you can see from above, Uzume's breaking through his emotional walls, and we know how difficult that can be, so when the inevitable happens, we really want to throw him for a loop.
Though we also do want to remind people that while there will be more of this and some action, we also want to keep the comedy up as well.
