I just raided somebody, and he is threatening war on me if I do so again.

His nick is Tiberius and his planets are Halstock (2/101/11) and Hellopope (2/101/12.) He is part of an alliance (LOU), but they are ranked 438 with only 4 members (with at least one inactive 2/101/9.)

GH, do you want to take this dude up on this? Right now our alliance is much stronger, and at least these two members have decent resources to steal.

Edit: I just checked their alliance page, and this guy put up a declaration of war there against ME! Just me. I'm kinda flattered, but a bit annoyed.

The guy I raided earlier spent the rest of his resources too, so crashing him isn't profitable. I did just send a raid against the inactive member of that alliance, as he was sitting on close to 100k metal.

The Third member is in Newbie protection against me, so I can't attack him. I can't even find the fourth member.

I just blew almost all the resources I stockpiled after about a week of inactivity on heavy fighters and light lasers, so I figure I won't have to worry about people raiding me and walking off with anything valuable. Only thing I'd have to worry about is my Deuterium reserves - and that's what fleetsaving is for.

Well, Tiberius has declared that I will not get away with my unprovoked attack on him. In an hour and a half when my fleets get back from their raids, I'm going to crash both of his planets and their small fleets.

Swating flies? I don't think we need a war declaration for that. It's enough for two or three of us to attack them once or twice and that should keep them with they're mouths shut.

These guys are not worth it. They seem to think that being in an alliance will automatically protect them against attacks.

Also, alliances CANNOT go at war against single players, as far as I know. Especially not if the player war is declared against refuses to play along.

As far as I can ell, these d00ds are newbies whom we could crush like bugs, and on top of that, threats are actually an excuse for authorizing bashing, so the dude is really asking for a spanking, but frankly I don't feel like swatting flies for fun.
