eh, it happens. I had the forethought to make 8 heavy fighters while they were en-route to their demise. Not to mention 2 sm. cargo and I had 2 sm. cargo sent to my other colony.

What is it with all these n00bs having only like one or two Rocket Launchers and Light Lasers? I've got 20 Light Lasers and I'm working on building a few Rocket Launchers for fighter defense. Granted, my fleet's made up of only Heavy Fighters and Small Transports...

my current defensive line contains some 30 Rockets, 25 light lasers, 10 heavy lasers, and 2 Gauss Cannons. Also, Small Shield Dome is constructed, with a Large Shield Dome coming soon, so I should be able to handle about two dozen cruisers and miscellaneous elements.

However, I can't seem to scrounge up enough crystals for a Hyperdrive upgrade(160k). And I don't plan on doing anything before that.

Anyone wanna trade?

You'll need to expand your crystal storage past 100k if you need 160k for the research.

did that already. Just waiting for fleets to come in. Have 6 of them out, but most are only bringing about 10k crystal or less a shot, and a hella lot a of pig iron.

Seems I maxed out on metal. 300k of it. Reduced it to 170k or so spending on miscellaneous things.

just pulled out a calculator and my battle reports. If all goes well, when the last fleet comes in, ill have just enough to research the hyperspace drive tech.

Unfortunately, then ill need to go out for some more crystals to actually build the damn things.

Battleships are now within grasp.

Edit: Dammit. 4k short. Transporting some from my colony to make up the difference.

DAMNIT! I lost in my attack. I'm now set back a friggin' good amount. Lost my lt. Fighters, my heavys and 9 of my transports.

What kinda defense was the guy sporting? If he's active, he won't stay in noob protection forever.

Does anyone need some stomping on? I got a group of 18 cruisers from my home planet, or will once they finish raiding some scum that newly arrive and made a homeworld on a area that I originally wanted one of my Colony ships on, i figure it is worth the waste of fuel. Just came out of Newbie..

If I need to, I figure I can scrape togther around 20 cruisers or so if needed, trying to send all my best resources to my Home for research, not sure where to go..

ttestagr- I deleted the abomination that was my loss. I know he had over 30 light fighters in his fleet. Not much else besides that
