So. Just finished the series through Netflix and watchseries and have to say one of my favorite shows of all time. Showtime really had something special and while nobody ever likes it when a fav show ends, I find myself liking it less than usual.
Mary-Louise Parker does a fantastic job as Nancy. Everything Nancy does is for Silas, Shane and eventually Stevie, even if she makes some rather bad decisions in the process like panicking and fleeing after Shane whacks Pilar rather than go talk to Esteban... Didn't really like most of seasons 2 and 3, being significantly darker than season 1, but wouldn't change them as I think they were pretty necessary, and pretty much anything Jill-related in season 7.
Kinda wished that Nancy would... man up, for lack of a better term, at certain points, and really groaned at some of her worse decisions *cough leaving Esteban cough* but she always manages to pull through for her family without excessive deus ex machina.
Thoughts?
Also, MLP is fucking hot.
