Monogatari Series Second Season
You know that isn't the actual second season, right? Monogatari Series Second Season starts with the fourth season(Nekomonogatari). That is a lot of missing contexts.

I don't know how many seasons there actually are--what I did notice was that Second Season had an f-ton of story arcs (which I classify as separate from "seasons"). If the First Season has even half as many, it's no wonder I got completely lost in the backstory and lore.

Bakemonogatari has 15 episodes, Nisemonogatari only has 11and Nekomonogatari Black has 4 and that makes up the "First Season" of Monogatari. Kizumonogatari is a Prequal trilogy of movies that cover Araragi's time as a Vampire, and are set just before Bakemonogatari.

I tried understanding what the hell was goingbon in season three of Index; all I got was a headache. Neat fights though.

Watching Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunnygirl Sempai right now. Really good series, really liking it.

Bunny girl sempai was pretty good, I liked the personalities and how they all mixed... did not really care for the way they handled the sister though.

Binge watched 6 episodes of Arifureta... Pretty decent anime so far... Comes across as an odd mix of Shield Hero and How to pick up girls in a dungeon...

I had rewatched the entire Arifureta series this weekend. I also ordered a DVD box set.

In other new, my preordered Shield Heor box set came in... both parts of Season 1 (or seasons 1 and 2, depending how want to count them)...

Currently watching the 2020 version of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen. The initial reaction I had upon reading the news releases and previews is that this seems to be taking the Sailor Moon Crystal route: a more "faithful" adaptation of the source material and an entirely new cast with the exception of the main character. Halfway in right now...and Orphen indeed is following the Crystal route, complete with all the problems that accompanied that remake. Pacing, for example, if I were to pick the most immediate one.

Currently watching of Aestetica of a Rogue Hero, only a couple episodes in.

Recently finished off Fruit of Grisai and Cop Craft. Liked both a lot.

I remember that series. I actually really enjoyed it, enough so that I actually went looking to read the LN.

Saw a handful of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 episodes. Despite most of the creative heads returning from the previous three Stand Alone Complex productions (2 seasons + 1 movie), it's very...underwhelming? I mean, both previous seasons also had slow ramp-ups, but it seems a bit excessive here. Not sure if I'm going to stick around to wait for the rest of the series or even keep watching what's been released so far.

Watched Bungo Stray Dogs seasons 1-2 and the movie; great series. Nice story, great action, nice visuals... going to start season 3 tomorrow.

Finished Bungo Stray Dogs season 3. Nice battles, interesting way to end the season while setting up the next movie/season.

Got caught up on God of High School and Monster Girl Doctor. MGD has some nice visuals, interesting world, good comedy. Light hearted fare, good for wasting some time.

GOH is... damn, I wasn't expecting what I've been seeing. Amazing action, great visuals, but the story overall seems a little ... light. I was expecting some hardcore highschool fighters, not Not-Stands and cults. I get the feeling there's a lot missing from the adaptation, but it's worth watching anyway.

Finished last episodes of Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle, Blade Dance of the Elementalers, and Aesthetics of a Rogue Hero.

All were decent, but they really should have been full seasons,a s it was all the endings felt a bit rushed and incomplete.

And Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle I think it a bad decision politically to have made him her Knight.,

I'd recommend reading the LN for Rouge Hero. It's got a really interesting setting, and they do an Arc in the fantasy world after the anime finishes.

So I tried watching Uzaki-Chan and... It's actually kind of boring? Or not boring, more like it's the kind of show where it's better to just watch clips on Youtube, instead of sitting through the whole thing. The animation and color are also pretty dull.

Finished watching Yu Yu Hakusho on Netflix, and really, those last episodes really ended up dragging the quality down. Now I've started to watch Great Pretender, and while it's well made, I'm not so sure about the plot. We'll see how it goes.

Honestly, I have no idea why Anos suddenly decided he wanted a background tracking proclaiming his awesomeness while he beat down the two "Heroes", but it is hilarious and really just adds to the absurdity of it. Honestly, once this season wraps up, I think I might go read the Novels.

Meh... no worries, I was stating fact, I'm only at ep 5 on that one, as I was watching other stuff until just the other day. I'm not mad, or upset, about you posting, this thread by definition is filled with spoilers...

I'm of mixed feelings on it so far, but consider it decent... he is too calm and way overpowered, but that is exactly the point. And is in line with other such shows, the Reincarnated as a Slime, and Wise Mans Grandchild, to name just 2.

I love the fact he is considered a misfit due to his getting his own name wrong on the entrance exam (well, they think it was wrong)....

I'm honestly just really enjoying how OP he is, while he spouts off absurd lines. On top of that, they don't try and come up with convoluted excuses as to why he can't just overpower everything that comes up. He's like the definition of a Showy Invincible Protagonist.

I watched The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious. Dub voices, which are passable but nowhere near great. The writer and in turn the showrunner at least made the smart choice of making the main character not the isekai character, but the (horny) goddess, who does a good fish-out-of-water impression.

Rista(rte) would probably be a lot more tolerable if I was watching episodes week-to-week, but in a marathon run, she gets a little old after a while. She's not so much a useless goddess as she is enormously dumb and massively not genre-savvy.
Then episode 11 had to go and happen and rip out my heart. Princess Tiana is a cutie and I like her hair style a lot more than Rista's. She managed to reincarnate as a goddess but in turn lost all her intelligence.

Also, that makes at least three Princess Tianas I know of now. Disney Princess, Unchained Blades, and from here

Finished watching Misfit of Demon King Academy. I am now 100% sure Anos waited 2000 years to reincarnate because he didn't like the music scene back then.

I've been watching Dorohedoro on Netflix, and so far, it's been worth it. That reveal with Noi, even when I already knew was a girl, was a well done scene.

Watched Burn the Witch. Neat setting; wish to see more of Reverse London, its' people, and the culture. Nice how they kept the connection to Soul Society until the very end. And Doggo-Dragon is adorable. ;)

If I have one complaint, it's that they broke it up into 3 20-minute episodes, instead of just leaving it as a single movie. Kind of annoying, but not that big of a deal.
