What are you watching?

Watched The Defenders.

Sigourney Weaver was good.

The show was just okay, but on the good end of okay.

It's not as bad as Iron Fist, but not as good as any of the other shows focusing on individual characters.

It's worth watching, and only eight episodes, but don't go in thinking it will be better than what came before it and you'll probably enjoy it if you enjoyed the other shows.

Lots of setup for the future and it's obviously the end of a "phase" when things wrap up.

It kind of does what it needs to, but not much more than that.

A while ago I watched the season 2 for Luke Cage.

It was...okayish. Honestly, Bushmaster pretty much saved it, imo, but everything else...meh. That ending though... *thumbs down* not a fan how it went.

In other news, it seems Iron Fist is getting a second season as well. Nothing much in the trailer, but I hope it'll be better overall.

Took a look at Castlevania's trailer for the 2nd season. Honestly, that one is definitely making me interested. Can't wait for the episodes.

Been watching Iron Fist's second season, and it hasn't really been living up to the hype. Pretty much "Meh..." quality as far as I'm concerned.

Finally finished Season 2 for Iron Fist...and it was still "Meh..." in quality. That epilogue though...are they going to make a new season for Daredevil, or are they going with Defenders?

Started watching Castlevania's 2nd season, and boy, so far it's been way better than 1st season.

Finished watching Castlevania's 2nd season, and definitely worth it. Especially that fight with Dracula.

Finally finished with Daredevil's 3rd season, and it was definitely worth it, despite the large number of "Stupid!" that kept plaguing it.

I was especially impressed how they introduced Bullseye into the series.

To me, it went like this:

1. Who is this guy, and why is he so important? Does not compute.
2. Wait...this seems really familiar. Like, REALLY familiar.
3. Noooo...it can't be him, can it?
4. Holy Shit, it is!! That's honest to god Bullseye!! Holy shit!

Yeah, that was pretty much how it went to me. Damn good work, and he was just as bullshit in action as I expected him to be.

And I have to say this. Kingpin, you are an utter *moron*!! You unleashed this beast, and then told it to go back in its cage like some good little puppy instead of the rapid beast it was. How did you *think* it was going to go for you?? The fact that Daredevil himself was the one that let Bullseye completely loose was surprising, but I was also disappointed that he didn't let the psycho finish the job.

The ending was...disappointing. I'm not talking about the surgery scene, it was like they glossed over the potential consequences. Unless they're going to make a 4th season or a new miniseries for the Defenders.

We'll see.

Haven't really enjoyed the story all that much. The pacing has been off in my opinion. Too much pathos and backstory, not enough action and monster fighting. Maybe it will get better now that they're finally in Draculas castle, but I get the feeling that isn't the case.

Planning on running the MST3K gauntlet tomorrow. Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it.

Started watching the Titans on Netflix.

Okay, it is well done, I'll give it that...it just doesn't seem to click to me.

How are you doing that? How? Titans isn't on Netflix...

Well, done with Season 1 for the Titans.

Not impressed. If you're familiar with the comic counterparts, you're definitely in for a disappointment.

And the group is definitely stuck in the deep end as of Season 1 ending.

Season 2 is probably in the works, and they were definitely teasing with Superboy's and Krypto the Superdog's addition to the series at the end.

Hopefully The Punisher's 2nd Season is going to make up for this...yawn fest I had to endure.

Well, I finally finished Punisher's 2nd Season.

Ugh, not impressed. I mean, there were some scenes that were amazing, but overall, the heap of stupid that kept being pushed down my throat made me nauseous.

Then there's the drama. Way too much of it.

Started watching Castlevania's 3rd season, and the minute I saw the Infinite Corridor in action, my mind jumped to "this is amazing fodder for a crossover fic". I mean, when I saw that scene where a spaceship lifted off, trailing dirt, my first thought was "shit, that's a Necron ship" which it probably wasn't.

I enjoyed the third season of Castlevania and I can't wait for a fourth season, even if the end was more than a bit of a downer ending.

Netflix announced recently that The Witcher S2 is being filmed. If you haven't seen the 1st season, I highly recommend it.

I watched The Witcher, and it was okay. That's about all I can say about it.

Personally, I loved it.

What about Castlevania S3? What did you think of it?

Decent enough, though I found the situation with Alucard and the twins to be particularly...stupid.
Keep in mind Alucard is basically a teenager who just killed his father, whom he loved and was lonely. He wasn't exactly as vigilant as he probably should have been and he paid dearly for it.

I wasn't too surprised by the priest.

S3 did a lot to try and break Alucard, Sypha and Hector. I feel sorry for Trevor as much as Alucard simply because he was living his idyllic life with Sypha when his reality intruded onto hers.
