What did you have for dinner?

No picture for it, but had today what I've heard are called sloppy joe bombs... take a large croissant, and put a mix of sloppy joe/manwich sandwich mix and some shredded cheese in, and bake...

Pan fried chicken breast and microwave made Chedder and Brocoli rice. Turned out better than I thought it would, honestly.

Prime rib done medium rare, with thin sliced fried onions and mushroom rice, and horseradish and white wine sauce dip from a dinner function. First fancy dinner in a few years

Burger and french fries. The burger is the Morningstar Chipotle and Black Bean. Actually really good. It's noticeably a little less 'meaty' taste than an actual meat burger, but it serves well as its own patty. It does have some spice on it, presumably to hide a bit more of the black bean taste.

A burger for me as well, this morning. Cheeseburger with freshly cut onion slices. (I didn't ask whether they were freshly sliced. It's always obvious. :D )

Oops, the topic refers to dinner. Oh, well... :p

Hamburger Helper Lasagna. Made a small pot of it so I could have leftovers. While it was cooking, I put together some tortilla dough, so I can make fresh, homemade tortillas tomorrow.

Haven't tried making my own tortillas in over 25 years. My grandmother used to make them all the time... Last time I saw her alive (before her alzheimer's took over), she and my dad stood in her kitchen making them, chatting and laughing. Good times.

Beef franks cut up and mixed with beef rice-a-roni, which I mixed with taco seasoning. Delicious.

Yep! It tasted good. I think I had just a little too much batter, or a little too much baking powder, since a little bit foamed over the top.

Spicy fried chicken with pickles, onions, apple slaw and honey dill on a waffle bun, and a poutine that's drowned in cheese

I just had some re-heated pizza tonight. Didn't feel like cooking and it was there in the fridge.

I had zucchini and tomatos left over from my garden still, so made a zucchini and tomato casserole. I think it needed still more cheese!

How did that combination taste @seitora ?

As for me, I had some instant stir-fry noodles tonight. They were good.

It was pretty delicious! I had some cream cheese in there, and put some fresh garlic from the store as well. I've got enough of everything left to make a second batch today, but I'll try to pre-crisp the zucchini and tomatos to get some water content out first.
