I think the English ones are fine though I can't read the Japanese to tell as a difference... I've at this point actually read Light Novels 1-4 of Realist Hero in their entirety... I can read on average one light novel a day, they each are floating around the 350-375 page mark. Pictures are a bit sparce, but seem good quality and match anime style.

I have on hand vol 5. and I got notice that 8, 9, and10 have shipped. 6, 7, and 11 are on back order where I ordered from. but if it is like when I ordered vol 3... threat only took them about 2 1/2 weeks to get in.

The anime only goes up to the beginning of Vol3 or so. Of what is there it seems to follow the anime pretty close, but here are some deviations and additions.

Several of the scenes show I think Souma's mental anguish more in the decisions he has made. The scene in the cafe where he met Hal and Foxia went slightly different in tone, but still same overall effect. The exact attitude and relationship of King and prince toward their daugther/sister is far more harsh and bitter. I could name a bunch of other variations, but really all are mostly minor but set slightly different ones in scenes....

I would have liked the arc with the intro of the mad scientist to have been a bit better presented, as I would have expected more actual interaction with Souma and the girl, rather than his mostly introspection...

The arc with the tent city late in vol 4 seems a bit late for him to have approached them on it. I would have at least liked more passing mention of him and the prime minister talking about the supposed prior failures.

As far as the slow burn romance/progression of the various relationships.... I'm not sure he is really going to keep these women at bay all that much longer with his delaying in progressing the relationship... seems to be running out of excuses to slow them down. I do have to wonder though, if they really would be as enthusiastic once they get him into the bed to do the deed they are pushing him toward, because if they really were as eager as they've made out it seems to me these gals are not the type to really just stand by but grab him and force him into the bedroom....

I read about ten chapters of HunterxHunter last night, to go along with the clips I've been watching of it lately. The Yorknew city arc up to the Kurapika vs Uvogin fight.

The 2011 anime did this section justice, it seems. Not thinking about getting into the manga from the beginning; I've tried it before, for one thing, and couldn't do it; plus I know it's been on hiatus well over a year and has only had a couple chapters published in the last ... at least three years, I think.

Was in a bookstore today, decided to buy the first 2-in-1 volume of Ranma 1/2 for the heck of it.

I read the first 31 chapters (4 volumes) of Dress-Up Darling myself just now, since there was some hype and an anime. It's fun. Lewd, for sure (and the thirsty part of my appreciates the multiple shots of that nature), but also really fun. I can't help but imagining an official English release getting a lot of panels censored.

And finally caught up on that to chapter 72. I do pay some attention to 'quality' of a manga, but I also rate how fun it is. And considering I went through all the chapters in 2 days, I do find it really fun.

Seems people are starting to think Akria is the girl that traumatized Gojou in his youth.

Also, Suzuka be thirsty.
I was kind of thinking that myself when reading through. Just that I would have thought he'd recognise her if that were the case. There was that little exchange a few chapters earlier about how he thought she was a boy and she thought he was a girl, because Akira is a typically male name and Wakana a typically female name. I saw that as sort of a hint against it, if only because Gojou would have to be really forgetful or incapable of putting two-and-two together if he had a childhood friend with a masculine name and the same sitting in front of him now.

Read through Spy X Family, and decent enough read. I think I might see the anime once it airs.

Finally bit the bullet and read through all of Sono Bisque Doll. Okay, it's even better than I thought. The school festival arc was very well done, and the revelation that Gojou has more friends than he realizes was great. I loved the chapter where everyone watches him put on Kitagawa's makeup. The way he simply focused and completely ignored everyone else the moment he put on his bandana was awesome.

Read up to chapter 91 of Komi-san Can't Communicate

Chapter 75, with the guys coming up with fantasy scenarios of dating the girls in class, is...strangely kind of heartwarming.

Chapter 81 with the cat cafe is also good and I hope the anime adapts that <3

Chapter 83, the first time that Tadano attempts to tell Komi he loves her, and fails, even if it's part of a game

Well, it seems that The Breaker is continuing with a 3rd series as a webtoon, and I've decided to take a look.

Not that many chapters in, but it seems to continue not too far from where we were left during the 2nd series.

My Lovely Ghost Kana. Very heartwarming over all. Also lots of lewd and ecchi, so beware of that (or look forward to it?) if you're taking my recommendation to go and look.

Yeah, it was quite fun for being so short.
Maybe as a recurring omake for some other story? The ongoing adventures of the infinite plot twists?
