I just binge-read all of Demi-chan wa Kataritai/Interviews with Monster Girls. Only 26 chapters and it's just a cute slice-of-life story about monster girls in high school, but it was enjoyable. It's not another dumb harem story like most manga that involve monster girls, and there's next to no fanservice. It's actually a realistic exploration of how people being born with supernatural bodies and abilities would affect their lives and society at large.

For example, Succubus are assigned lifelong police supervisors/handers as soon as their powers are discovered, because of their vastly increased likelihood of being involved in crimes - either because they are sexually assaulted by weak-willed men that they accidentally seduced, or because the constant harassment/objectification by other people drives them to use their powers of manipulation for evil.

I also like that the protagonist is an intelligent, respectful, compassionate man who cares deeply about his students but never even considers perving on the monster girl student who has a crush on him. He's a mature, professional adult. I respect that.

I really like it myself, and wanted to share it with others. Glad to see I was able to enlighten at least a couple new people. :)

Oh, I've been a reader for a while now. Just good to see I'm not alone. :sisi:

You have, however, have tempted me into a reread.

I've been following it as well, as is probably obvious given you mentioned my earlier post. Suffice to say since then it's been just as raunchy but the plots also taken more massive twists, so it's been solid on that front.

THE student? They all do! Plus his succubus colleague!

But, yeah, it's a really good read. I've added it to my bookmarks and will keep an eye out for updates.

Not read all of it yet, but Hikari seems more interested in Yuki than Sensei.

Just skimmed a random chapter from the manga. He's right - it's full of ecchi. Borderline porn. The 'under 18' warning is there for a reason.
Borderline porn? I just browsed through chapters 95 and 96 myself. In addition to the public breast suckling and the full frontal female nudity, there's also brief (non-explicit) penis-in-vagina penetration and a dude gets an off-panel handjob. This is straight up softcore porn (albeit porn with a really good plot!)

On an unrelated note, I've found a new manga to binge-read so if I don't post much for the next few days you guys will know why.

I might be reading more into it than is there, but I think they all crush on him at least a little.

I don't think Yuki crushes on sensei, I think she just respects him. Hikari obviously does crush on him, but it's more role-model/parental-figure than a romantic crush. Kyouko and Sakie do have romantic feelings for him, but he doesn't act on Kyouko's because he's not a creep, and he clearly is attracted to Sakie but also doesn't act on it because he's not sure if she's seducing him on purpose or not and he's a gentleman.

H-Man

Random phantom.
B-Group no Shounen X is... either not an easy read, or the scan group isn't doing it right.

What I understand is that it's about a boy. Who is awesome. Unfortunately, being awesome makes his life difficult, so he wants to live a normal life in high school.

It's just that he's best friends with the three best girls in school.

I guess it's not Fujimura-kun Mates, but it doesn't seem that bad. Just has little in 5 chapters.

Himegoto. Not the highschool one.

Pick up because it is weird. Tomboy X Metro Cross guy might be interesting if it goes that way.

Edit: Okay, this is more messed up than I anticipated. At least the ship that I a favoring looks like it is the least screwed up one.

Edit: Never mind. No sweet ships here. Looks like it is going to go FUBAR.

Edit: Yup. The romance I was secretly rooting for is advancing but the old dickbag ex friend is going to ruin things.

Edit: To cleanse the bad juju form this, I'll read something lighter from the same mangaka, Hatsukoi Zombie. Seems funny and light hearted.

Re-read Tsugumomo.

The fight scenes in that manga are godly. My ideal blend of martial arts, weapon usage and magic in a beautiful package.

Also read Tsurezure Children which was hard to follow thanks to the missing chapters and weird order but alright overall.

I have just finished Tsugumomo.
It was well worth the read.
I only hope that the anime adaption does it justice, and doesn't just focus on the fan service and gender bending.
Oh and I pray it comes out uncensored.

Latest chapter of Seitokai Yakuindomo.

If you didn't think Suzu liked our hero, I can think of no better counter point than this panel,

the commentary 'how weird' is the usual tone-deaf manga fare... or comedy, depending on your perspective.

Weird series shilling time: Criminale!

This is one of those High School weirdo compilation stories, ala the series commonly known as Best Faces which has a similar sorta lulzy premise with occasional hints of more interesting stuff, only that goes into supernatural critters instead. While here it's criminals. Basically lead is the type who attracts crimes to him to a hilarious degree. Gets sent to a new high school wanting to start a new lease on life, but he's put in a class of various criminal types. Shenanigans ensue.

Sounds boring? Well, that's what I thought too at first which is why it's flown under my radar up to now. But it's actually doing some interesting things beyond the general shenanigan premise and hinting at a lot more interesting things, and right now it's putting together quite the interesting plotline to the degree that I really am looking forward to where it's going now. Let's just say the current arc is about the Phantom Thief and her own 'Disposition' and why it ties to her leading a life of high profile thefts, as well as the FBI agent (Who has her own disposition too) who has at last managed to catch her and the lead who just got shot trying to get her back apparently, and that's not even the half of it. Leads into this epic scene:

Bitch done screwed up now.

So it's been a roller coaster of lulz and holy shits thus far and I'm hoping it does more from here as it explores the nature behind these dispositions, as well as exploring the lead's own 'criminal potential' as a result of his disposition. Which if I had to hazard a guess at this point, would be the mastermind sorta criminal boss sorta thing given how he's now drawing his allies together for an epic rescue her apparently, and would also tie rather well into the nature of his disposition to boot, he's just not using it effectively yet.

But like a lot of these sorts of series, you have to wade through some pretty mundane haremy shenanigans to get to the more interesting bits, but if you're into that sorta thing you might have a lot of fun along the way. It's already doing the 'Best Faces' approach of having multiple possible couples hinted at among the cast thus far, in particular there's been some hints that the Hacker and the Violator are going to build up into something later, and I'm seeing some potential hints at something with the Thug and the Pyro Sisters, while the lead is playing keep away from the Assassin, the Stalker, and the Phantom Thief herself up to this point, so there's plenty of development to go around so it's not your usual harem bullshit at the very least.

Oh and there's the Grifter but I have no clue what's up with that guy at all, he's pretty sidelined all in all. Still with the rest of them there's been a lot to work with thus far which has made the series deserving of my full attention at this point, doubly so if this Phantom Theif arc delivers as it's been shaping up thus far, quite the few epic moments and interesting developments already so if it fully delivers this series my go places.

Did anyone read Ryuu's spinoff for Danmachi? (Read it here.) The events going on are pretty meh, but damn if Ryuu doesn't sell the whole thing with style.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr ended.

It was a happier note than I expected (survivors; LOL not where I thought Okamoto Lynn was going) but it cliffhangered that there's going to be a sequel? Probably with (even more) time travel.

Berserk updated with a new chapter. Check it out in Mangastream.

Yeah, Caska is in pretty f***ed up situation as far as her head space is concerned. Seriously, I still think they should have asked Gutts what they both went through in order to prepare themselves.

Next chapter should be up by late April. Hopefully.
