On the other hand he has a sure kill attack requiring a long preptime and a vulnerable state.
He then proceeds to start it in full view of the enemy. Not cool.

That's why he had The Gamer use all of his buffs on him, then follow-up with lots of attacks. As it turns out, the enemy is far more willing to sacrifice lives to put him out of the game.

The villain from Chundomoon just made the two biggest mistakes a villain can make in a martial arts serial.

One, he let the protagonist get into a situation where the problem is solveable by fist.

Two, he allowed himself to be inserted into said situation, AS the problem.

Shioon is about to beat this guy back into his mother's cunt.

I'm just wondering if he'll need the Black Origin to win, or if his training has let him grow enough to just beat him outright.

Shioon's been doing intense mental training to beat So-Chun Hyuk, who is much better than So Jun Chan. I'm certain Black Origin would just be overkill against So Jun.

I find it utterly hilarious how much villains in this series lack genre savvy, and how freaking frequently it bites them in the ass.
Gramps is Gramps, definition of awesome.

The very villain you're talking about has been genre savvy though. He's tried to kill Shioon dead and make sure he's dead while he was weak, and every time his subordinate mustache man is the one who fucked up and either straight up didn't follow his orders at all or half assed it because he didn't take the threat seriously.

He somehow recognized he could become a danger despite only meeting him once and him being super weak when he did. That's more awareness than most villain I can think of.

Yeah, I mean:

"Please, he's just a kid."

"Oh really, well then why is everyone who meets him is so enamored with him?"

Say whatever about So Jung Chan, but he did realize Shioon could be a threat since early on.

Yeah, it's more along the lines of him simply seeing this as his chance to finally end things, not realizing just how insane Shioon's growth has been. While he is genre savvy, you can probably forgive him for not realizing that his opponent is nearly the equivalent of martial-arts!Jesus due to the medicine and his body type.

I could actually swear there was a scene in the series where So-Chun Hyuk mentioned that he wasn't yet prepared to openly confront So Jung Chan because he wasn't entirely sure he could win, and a loss could make his position as head of the clan uncertain.

I do remember something like that. It was probably right before or right after the scene where they were meeting early on.

Does anyone know what happened to The Gamer? It used to get updated every week, but now it hasn't updated for two. It would be a pity if it got dropped.

Kubera started updating again -- apparently the author was really sick and she had to take time off from the series -- and HO~~LY SHIT! about sums up my feelings.

Knyght

The Collector
Planning on re-reading before catching up with those updates since I don't remember anything cohesive.

So I found this thing: Dear only you don't know

Its on the surface a "romance" manwha, but what it really is, is ensemble piece about 6 women, and their lives.

The premise is simple, to keep their lives "happy" these six women each have a secret they try to keep hidden, especially from the ones they love.

But its not a normal set of secrets. One woman is actually ugly under her makeup, and so won't accept the guy she admires confession. One girl is secretly a otaku. One woman refuses to love period, even though she's fallen for her male coworker who is a complete dizt (finding out why he's a ditz is hilarious itself) one girl is 14 and has a thing for a 30 year old man with a kid, one girl were not sure what she's hiding, something to do with her past. The last woman? minor secret.. she's a mob don :D

So this web of women, and weir secrets gets tangled up and explored to hilarious and heart tugging at times results.

She's hiding that she's the girl the guy came to the city to search for. So she's hiding her identity.

Huh, I knew she was hiding that she knew that guy when they were kids, but we don't know why. But I didn't think he came to the city to look for her? I thought he just broke down while in university and moved to get away.
