Problem: People want to kill cute girl and use her soul as raw materials

Solution: KILL EVERYONE

Well, ah, that's certainly an interesting application of the wisdom stat.

oh noes. gramps.
It's time for a mentor kill. Shioon hasn't had one for it to happen to until now, and it makes the Sun Woo clan unwilling to follow Sosul.

Might sound odd but I'm reading a translated Korean LN called Dawnbringer. It's half fantasy themed Starship Troopers with giant mechs and half harem comedy. It's as great/cringeworthy as it sounds, alternating.

What? Not only has he had one, he literally had a flashback to it this chapter.

I like the fact that the story goes in to the implications of having a Gamer's mentality in the real world and what that might be doing to his personality.

And I'm worried about The Breaker's gramps. It really feels up in the air on whether he'll survive this or not.

Breaker chapter dump. Shit is getting super real, and Gramps may have been saved from the noble sacrifice.

Every chapter of The Gamer makes me love it even more, even when little plot is going on.

That Jaegu...is kinda badass.
...yes, yes he seems to have leveled up his Badass.

Now I wonder if that'll be enough to shut up folks that still whine about how Jaegu is a wuss. Though I would have still totally let Dal Dal go crazy there.

Yeah, seems like he's evolved from punching bag to Reluctant Warrior over the course of the manga. I actually like that, since that is good character development without going off the rails with a GAR overload. Plus it meshes well with his older-sibling persona.

And I dunno how effective DalDal is going to be, considering No. 1 & 2 are still unknown and strongest of the line up. Queen's fight was kinda weird, so I can't get a read on if the gender barrier (physically) is too much even for Queen.

Tower of God 216. Baam continues to be a Blue Mage.
His willingness to skirmish with Daniel while blatantly holding back (not using the Thorn at all, among other things) strikes me as being wholly inappropriate to the situation. He's got a team who are fighting an invincible security program and are depending on him to get what they need to shut it down, and the clock is ticking as far as stopping Rachel from stealing the train goes as well. Is he really in a position where he can afford to fight cautiously and waste time?

I get that SIU wants to choreograph a good fight here, but I'd rather see common sense prevail over theatrics and drama.

Common sense prevailing? In an entertainment media??

What madness is this???

Legendary Moonlight Sculptor

Now, I've read the fantranslated Korean novel nearly a few days ago FYI so seeing it in webcomic form is interesting. It features a guy named Lee Hyun, who has to take care of his younger sister and injured grandmother due to the deaths of his parents. Now, Lee Hyun has/had a warrior character called 'Weed' from an in-story MMORPG called 'Continent of Magic'...of which he sold online to.

If you're wondering why I mentioned his MMO character...well for one thing, Weed is considered the absolute strongest solo character in that game that managed to succeed in quests that GROUPS couldn't handle. The second reason is that it was sold for about 3 billion won (or roughly 2,700,000 USD if I got it right) within a limit of a. Single. Day.

This should be where the story could end, but apparently his parents were in a huge (possibly illegal) debt that all that money was taken from him just as fast from loan sharks.

Seeing in how his previous character sold for that much, He proceeded to build up the funds again by creating a new character (named Weed of course) inside the newest virtual reality MMORPG game called Royal Road.

Now, that's all that's currently in-line with where the manhwa is translated at, so in the novel he gains (after some backbreaking efforts) what people considered the weakest class: A sculptor.

I'd rather not spoil but:
The class he gained was actually what the last Emperor of the supposed in-game history had that ruled all of Royal Road, which was called as 'Legendary Moonlight Sculptor'. Not just 'Moonlight Sculptor' but 'Legendary Moonlight Sculptor'. Remember that in your heads.

Now, with how he plays, he kind of sounds and acts like a money grubbing asshole inside the game, which I can reasonably see happening since he's poor and has to provide food, shelter, and such to his remaining family. Due to his efforts and luck however, he becomes well liked by loads of people and gained from I assume is sort of considered a unwanted harem of sorts, both in real life and in-game.

I don't know if you'll like it, but I had read (the novel) non-stop for two days and two nights from volume 1 to volume 17 of the fantranslated ones.

Here is the location of the fan translated novel (along with various others) if you're curious enough to try and/or spoil yourself with.
