Jaegu's about to get horrifically beaten? I should save him. But first, lemme ring Queen so I can take a shot at her.
Well, to be fair, she's not calling while Jaegu's getting beaten up, nor has she taken eyes off the situation like some idiots would, and she does bring up a valid point: currently, Jaegu is just too far out of his element when it comes to Queen just because she's so much bigger than life. I have no idea how the author plans to make this work (because, for all my Daldal supportiveness, I can't picture this going any way other and Jaegu/Queen, even when it logically shouldn't be present this early), but someone has to go to the other's level unless Jaegu doesn't mind being a kept man for the rest of his life.

Well then...

It appears Queen don't play that shit. Better back the fuck up before you get smacked the fuck up.

Girls of the Wild's 196

Shit is getting real again.

And that last page or two really brings to bear the orders of magnitude differences between Queen's every day life and Jaegu's. I'm more amazed that he can even think of being jealous of anything related to Queen because in his shoes, I'd be terrified as fuck of that much resources at their fingertips.

"Hmm... I wonder what's on Mangapanda? haven't checked that in a whi--oh?! They're still updating Kubera? And two chapters? Whoa... now, let's see... I think I stopped reading around the end of the Outsider arc? Well, It wouldn't hurt to start from there and catch up on what I missed...

Four Hours Later

I don't think shit can get any realer, but dammit, currygom's going to find a way.

And fuck it, I'm changing my profile pic to Leez in the latest chapter.

So, I've just read 4 Cut Hero (also posted up on Lone Manga, the guys who are apperently translating it...who had some issues a day ago with their own viewer.).

The prologue starts off telling about the hero, Jid, just defeated the demon king, Crodin, in practically the first page. You may think that's usually not the start of how stories are supposed to go, but this is a story of what happens after.

What happens after is that Jid, the hero, becomes a Neet! ...Wait, what?!?

Alright. typically in the old stories, the hero saves a princess from a demon lord/king/whatever and marries her for the happily ever after ending. That's what Jid planned when he choose to fight the demon king as he hears rumors that the princess is a beauty.

With delusions of lust in his mind, Jid seems to have defeated Crodin quite easily as the author apparently made it game-like with an achievement called 'that was easier that I thought', an autosave point and random drop loot.

Just to point out something, the demon kind drops a rated R+19 book that leads Jid stating that they could have been friends in another universe.

Anyways, Jid finds what he was looking for...only to find out that instead of finding a beautiful shackled princess, he saved a beautiful shackled PRINCE. Note that a part of his mind doesn't mind it at all. Jid gets something called the 'good ending' title called 'there's no way this cute child isn't a girl' where he then makes excuses and runs away, leaving behind the prince who's still shackled.

Now, this could be a good end for a prologue, but the prince, now all alone, stomps on the dead demon king's corpse and easily breaks his shakles while basically stating that the demon king was weak and turns his interest towards Jid with a more sinister look on his face.

The current translations is up to chapter 5, not including the prologue, of which I just described as best as I could, with the chapters being fairly recent.

This series does have its serious moments, although it totally gets hit with comedy pretty damn fast, thus cementing the series genre to be definitely within the comedy section. It's not too bad I suppose as I did get a few laughs out of it.

After I saw it updating again quite a few months back, I tried to reread it so that I could go in fresh and got somewhere around when we're introduced to Agni and Kubera's in his city doing whatever. But I honestly couldn't muster the desire to go much further.

It was strangely addictive the first time around but on the re-read, I couldn't really find my motivation since I couldn't think of anything that I was actually looking forward to reading again.

Worth another shot, do you think?

I have a confession.

I looked at the current arc of Freezing, and I am enjoying it IMMENSELY. Despite how terrible the series has been up to this point, something about the current flashback arc is just delightful. It's probably the knowledge of what happens in the next five chapters that I got from reading the raws. :)

To be frank, lots of shit happens. Unlike some other series, this one gives you some pretty earth-shattering answers to questions that you've had, as well as answer so questions that have been laying around in-universe such as why the sura are tracking down Leez, what is Asha's goal, what became of Kali, the reason behind the DNR list, and a few "will they or won't they" instances that are finally resolved. And that's not getting into the promising plotlines of shit getting realer than real as the sura are bringing out and unearthing bigger guns for the magicians to counter their super barrier tactic and Mr. Kasek (and Agni) to defend Rindhallow.

Sure, there are even more questions out there, like the full history of Asha and what became of Vishnu but for the time being, I'm very satisfied with the answers I've learned thus far. And I, too thought of re-reading it all from the beginning... however, I didn't have a few days to set aside for that, so I opted to just roll back to the point where I last left off, refreshed myself on the arc and started from there.

And in other news, Girls of the Wild's 200

While I'm wishing the series had more of a laser focus on the main plot (or at least acted like a proper harem series instead of the current beta-matching trend it has going on of late), hte ending still makes me chuckle. And fear for Jaegu's chasity in the end.

Yeah, I was surprised Lim Dal Young went with another series (I shouldn't be, but still) instead of, you know, finishing an earlier work series. As it stands, though, it's basically the same stuff you seen in his previous works, and, frankly, even less interesting than Koimoku (while I liked the twist and stuff, I can see how blah it was after the challenge point).

Tis decent so far, but not much to it unfortunately.

Bookmarked for later, I'll probably come back to it when there's more built up, cause it is amusing.

I'm calling that the Devs eventually become bad guys, trying to prevent him and his crew from unlocking or finishing the locked area so that they don't have to create any more content.

Did Combat Continent get better? I was kinda hoping it would be more like BTTH, but the protagonist for some reason, after a while, just tires you. I was kinda hoping he got thrashed once or twice, but he seemed to keep getting stronger with no end.

I've read it, too, but to be honest, I'm feeling a bit burned out already from all the VRMMORPG comics out there already, and this one, aside from having a completely assholey item system that determines GU content in play, just doesn't have lot of interest for me.

Didn't the Unbalance x Unbalance end horribly? Why would he make another one?

Edit: Also, Cavalier of the Abyss updated.

Edit 2: Gone back to read The legend of Maian. The Bad Guy's in a good spot to claim victory for the world.

I thought that was obvious. Tits and Ass sells. Im Daal Young can't write for shit, but god damn can he and his co-artist draw. Just about every female character he makes is babelicous, optimized for maximum fapping efficiency. His faps per gram of energy spent, is off the charts.
