What manhwa are you reading?

Trinity Wonder

Written by the same team that brought us The Breaker. The most powerful businesswoman of her world secretly tries to recreate her father's forbidden teleportation technology, only to accidentally suck in the greatest Murim martial artist and a powerful sorceress from other worlds! While she struggles to rebuild the machine that brought these two dispaced warriors back home, her company comes under attack from outside influences controlled by the mysterious crimelord known only as Pink Papa.

I don't believe I've heard a single good thing about that series and it didn't catch my interest when I tried it out some time ago.

All I want is the next season of The Breaker. I literally just re-read both seasons earlier this week and need more in my life.

Anywho, I checked the manhwa I'm following at the moment:
  • UnOrdinary
  • Tower of God
  • Magician (which started regular updates after the official translatiosn finally caught up)
  • Kubera (wasn't easy catching up with that one)
  • Ruler of the Land (currently on my re-read list).
I read Witch Hunter on the rare occasion it gets updated and catch up on The Gamer every so often. I read Red Storm and Black Haze but can't be bothered to follow them regularly.

Gosu was pretty good but that's stopped updating because they're doing the official translations. I'm sort of waiting for Legendary Moonlight Sculptor to get further along since I've already read all the translated volumes.

And I've just given on Noblesse entirely.

I'm really down to just Tower of God now, and only barely hanging on with that. Series hasn't been good in a while as far as I'm concerned, and I'm starting to lose faith in it getting better.

I am still waiting for Breaker.

Also just found out that Girls of the Wild ended. Have to catch up since I stopped during the Taiwan arc.

Only other stuff I am following casually is Lilith Cord. This is only because I am getting some NGE vibes from this.

IIRC, Girls of the Wild’s descends into endless relationship melodrama with a crappy ending as an fyi.

I'll second knight504 on Unordinary. So so good. It just returned from its 6-week hiatus too!

Unordinary 82 (86)

It's impressive when John doesn't even need his ability to beat up bullies.

Guessing Cecile probably published an article exposing him not being a cripple.

"Because there has been no news of The Breaker there have been a lot of questions from people in Korea and overseas as well. For those who are waiting for The Breaker I am very sorry however I am currently working on Trinity Wonder season 3. My current goal is the completion of Trinity Wonder. I plan to start it in March(?) and would like to complete it within the year.

Once that is finished i plan to work on The Breaker 3.

However even i am not sure if I can start that by the end of this year. (For those who are waiting for The Breaker 3, please wait a bit more.)"

In the latest Unordinary chapter, John's secret gets revealed to yet another person. It seems there's going to be a lot of sides taken once John's secret finally comes out.

I do find it curious that John's power level was of course interrupted before Isen could speak it. I assume it's probably a touch above Serafina's, so maybe a 9.0. Alternatively, since John's power is to copy other people's powers, it may even be that it will just keep evolving with no real upper limit.

After not reading The Gamer for about a year, caught up to the current chapter (Season 4, Episode 26). Feels like it's getting close to the end of this Church of Masks arc. The comic moves pretty quick now on a panel basis, but the big issue is that each chapter is just so SHORT it takes several chapters to move.

Rereading Dice since I think I stopped reading it about two years ago and want to catch back up. Finished the first season. Damn this thing is good.

Finished the second season of Dice. Damn, I forgot how intense the school siege arc was. This is pretty much where I stopped reading before, so I've still got a lot to catch up on!

Season 3 of Dice.

Holy shit, what a ride.

So Season 3 is roughly split into two halves. The first half is meeting Sueksun, one of the previously 5 unknown A-Rankers who actually goes to another school, and uses his Dice to heal his girlfriend Nani, who suffers from illness. Sueksun quickly goes off the rails in his Quests for more Dice.

In the second half, Dongtae, Eunjoo, Mio and Sueksun team up to finally take on X, and good gravy it is a ride! An amazing end.

Through the first few chapters of Season 4 that have been released. Supposedly the Korean language comic is ahead by like 20 chapters which have fan-translations, but I'll wait for it to be done by LINE.

unOrdinary's chapter this week (episode 108) was immensely satisfying, seeing John lay the smackdown on somebody again.

But the jokes practically write themselves. The comments on this week's webtoon are hilarious.

"For you, it was the worst day of your life. For me, it was merely Tuesday."

"This is the story of how Zeke's life got turned upside down."

I let my backlog on Dice build up to like 50 chapters. I finally caught up on it tonight, to Chapter 267. It really drags out a lot, but it's still such fun, and it's a very good series. Hyun Choi finally makes his comeback in the last few chapters after being out of the limelight for so long.

I get the feeling that his helping X modify the ruleset to make things more exciting is really going to be Hyun Choi's plan to allow Dongtae to defeat X for once and for all, by creating a set of rules that makes X vulnerable again.

Got caught up to the end of the first season of unOrdinary. Hot damn. John laying the smackdown on the entire Royals structure of the school is really satisfying. Now of course things are going to have to flip around, because John will no likely self-destruct the way this is going.

Binged though Solo Leveling.

The first time I heard it was in reference to the main character in a discussion, so I decided to look into it. I was a bit hesitant when I realized that it was similar to "Gamer" but damn if I wasn't hooked on it.

Yeah, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (up to chapter 82) was surprisingly enjoyable experience.
