There haven't been any hints towards a timeline nuke... we already know too much time loop info for that to work.

Most likely is that Azeroth will awaken to its full status, and that will be what fights off Sargeras. More then enough hints about that for a long time.
Except, you know, the part where every single thing that shows us our future save that one quest in Northrend shows us dying to the Legion, and that quest in northrend was only showing a few levels into the future.

Are all your timeline nuke future memories from Legion? If so, that would explain why not a single one of them is something I've heard of.

Also, getting future insights when surrounded by psychicly empowered demons probably isn't going to be the most accurate thing.

Actually, the main one- clearest one anyway- was zero light yog'saron. Considering the old gods and the legion are pretty much dead level enemies, I think an old god showing you that the legion will win and kill you in the future means we're pretty goddamn fucked.

... An old god thats trying to mindfuck you is not an accurate source on the future...

So I guess you're just going to stick your fingers in your ears and pretend that every other vision didn't end up happening?

Adorable.

Also, there's Killrogg Deadeye's fight. The hallmark of the Deadeye clan is that they can see how they will die. In his fight, he shows YOU how you'll die.

It's in the UC throne room with Khadgar, to the legion.

I mean, you're actively using villains who are deliberately trying to mindfuck you as proof of your death.

Literally, Yogg is trying to drive you insane. To the point you have a sanity meter in the fight, and if you go insane enough, he takes you over.

How on earth are you trying to justify that as a source of anything accurate?

So if you wanna consider that "sticking my fingers in my ears"... well ok. I'm ignoring the source who's best interest is having me lose my mind, not one who wants me to, you know, actually know the future.

Now, the killrog argument is more persuasive then the yogg one, by far. Except, it is as you said, his one vision he gets from undergoing the ritual the Bleeding Hollow clan has (I mean, Deadeye was just his own nickname) is of his OWN death. Not anyone elses. Nor does he somehow get that magical ability to do so, either.

He's deliberately trying to break you, and when he fails to you get massive buffs. That's the point of the mechanic of the fight.

The only future things we know of are 1) Azeroth is secretly a baby titan, and 2) demons dont seem to actually die, even when you kill them. Something something fel something.

We also know the Bronze dragonflight for some reason turns into the infinite dragonflight, and constantly fucks with the past.

That's kinda it.

The problem is, you're ignoring EVERY source. This sort of babybullshit of 'oh noes blizzard, you can't let me LOSE!' is exactly why WoW has turned into a gigantic piece of shit over the last 5 years.

Whatever.

So, for those who were still fanwanking the shit out of Vanilla Wow, Blizzard is implementing:
WoW Classic.

Not much is confirmed aside from the fact that it IS happening. My guess is that you're basically going to get most of Vanilla with the most recent WoW models and PROBABLY some other minor advantages like Barber Shops, Mount/Pet tabs and Transmog.

If you're not interested in that, they're also implementing a new expansion called "Battle For Azeroth".
Biggest Bits of BFA:
6 new allied races - The Highmountain Tauren, Nightborne Elves and Zandalari Trolls for Horde; Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarves for the Alliance. You will have to do a quest chain to unlock them for your account. They will start at level 20, and while you can race-change to them or level-boost one, if you take the time to level them up, Blizzard is making special Hertiage transmog sets for each of these races.

This also opens up the possibilities of playing as previously speculated races in the future.

Two new continents: Zandalar and Kul'Tiras.

NOT CONFIRMED, but whispered that we might be making full-fledged ships and manually sailing to new islands. It could also be that we simply pick destinations for ships, ala the flight system already in game. Could be a combination (not unlike choosing to fly or using a flight point for predetermined destinations)

A BIG change has been implemented for WoW, if anyone's interested.

Basically, they've implemented scaling for the entirety of the game. It's not infinite, though, so those of you who liked to blow up low level mobs, or do chain runs in dungeons, those are still doable.

But dungeons and mobs do scale up to a level cap, meaning that it's now entirely worth running entire zones while levelling alts:

All of the non-starter zones from Vanilla are now level 1-60. Dungeons have varied minimum levels required, but scale up to 60. So you can skip the dungeons you hated. Starter zones cap at either 10, 15 or 20.

All Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King content is now level 60-80 (technically 58-80). That's right, if you despised BC or ran Wrath enough to find it tedious, you can now skip it entirely by doing the OTHER content.

All Cataclysm AND Mist of Pandaria zones go from 80 to 90. Hate Cata, skip for Pandaria. Hate Pandaria, you can do Cata instead.

WoD and Legion already have level scaling implemented, so you still don't get an option there, but you can choose to complete zones now instead of just abandoning quest chains.

Here's a link to the level scaling map for more specific level minimums and caps for those interested.

Loremaster - All of the achievements for this have been changed from requiring a certain number of quests to completing story "chapters" for zones.

Dungeon Loot has ALSO been changed (Raid loot will remain as it was). Just gonna copy-pasta it. Here's the link to the blue post for those who want to look at it themselves.
Blizzard said:
Once these updates are implemented, entering a dungeon or raid that is trivial for you (i.e.: your character is 10 or more levels higher than the dungeon or raid’s intended level) will activate a “legacy loot mode.” That loot mode will work like this:

The number of items dropped by bosses will be the same as it would have been if you were in a full party. So if you’re in a 5-player dungeon, you’ll get 5 players’ worth of loot.
For raids with a flexible raid size (such as Raid Finder), this will act as though there were 20 players in the raid.
All items on the loot table will have a chance to drop, not just the ones that are designated for your spec.
If you have multiple players in the group, the loot will be split among those players, but be tradeable. For example, if you’re clearing with one other player and kill a boss that should drop 4 items, you’ll each be able to pick up two items and trade them between each other if you like.

While the personal loot change was a key part of what allowed us to expand leveling dungeons to encompass a wider range of levels, and we’re happy with it in that environment, we recognize that it’s not a great experience for those who enjoy clearing older content for transmog, and hope that these changes will make that more enjoyable once they’re complete.

Okay, I have to say, Blizzard has made things so much easier for people with Alt Characters. If you have completed the introductory quests for your faction, any other characters you make for that faction will NOT have to play through those quests again IF you don't want to.

So if you have a preferred character that you rely on to get through hard tasks before bringing other characters through, you only need to do it ONCE PER FACTION.
