Xiaolin Showdown Misc. Ideas

Nice addition. And now, just a little peek into Wuya's head.

Wuya scowled as he looked at the sickly green flame dancing across her fingers. If she concentrated, she could make it ghost red for the blink of an eye. That, in itself, puzzled her. The putrid green color of her flames had been a side effect of the dark magicks she had discovered. It was an outer manifestation of the perversion of her chi as the Dragon of Fire. Or at least that was what one sage had told her before she had blasted him to ash. So, why was it returning to red?

Honestly, she would never had thought to try to manipulate her flames like this had Ashley not asked her why her flames were red as she destroyed Bean? The revelation that she had, for one moment, been the Wuya of old as she avenged the supposed loss of her child was shocking to her, even if she did understand the feelings behind it. She had even managed to work seamlessly with Dojo as they two of them took their pound of flesh from the pathetic excuse for a demon.

But why could she do it now? Omi was safe, so there was no righteous fury as a mother to motivate her. Why could she, for even a moment, call on her old flames? Could she...?

No. That Wuya, the Xiaolin Warrior Wuya, was dead. She had killed that part of herself long ago. Other than in battle, she did not even remember what being happy felt like, much less what it was to be good.

Although, the relief in her heart and the peace of mind in Omi knowing of their relationship made her feel even better than she had when she had nearly conquered the world. Either time she had nearly conquered the world.

Who would think the acceptance of her son could still mean so much to her? Especially when she knew damned well she did not deserve his acceptance. No, she deserved the hateful glares she got from Raimundo. The cold anger from Guan.

And it was only for Omi's sake that she hadn't gutted Kimiko the first time she had DARED to give Wuya a look of pity. As if that pale shadow of her past had any right to judge someone of Wuya's magnificence. The damned gecko was far more intimidating than Kimiko could ever hope to be, and that was just sad.

Honestly, she could hardly wait for the day she could watch Ashley decimate the girl and leave her broken at Wuya's feet. Katnappe would prove her worth and, in the process, prove herself a worthy partner for Omi. She would stand at his side just as Wuya had with his fath-

"No." the Heylin witch growled as she extinguished her flames. She would not let herself think of that two-timing backstabber like that. Just because she had been foolish enough of let that bald idiot touch her did not make him a father to their child. If he had been he would have been there with her searching for Omi. He would be with her now instead of rotting in the ground where he belonged.

*Geez, Wuya, the years have not been kind," he had said to her as he emerged from the second puzzle box. As if he had any right to judge her. She would sooner die than admit his words had affected her at all.

Why was she even letting herself think like this? In all her life she had never doubted, never wondered what might have been. She refused to believe it had anything to do with her little treasure. There was nothing about him that would cause her pain. His safety had literally been her ultimate goal for the whole of her life. The fact he was alive and well now was nothing short of a miracle. She would now, COULD not think ill of him.

No, it had to be Dashi's fault somehow. He did something, either to the second puzzle box, or with another Wu like the Heart's Light Lantern. That was the only explanation. The only reason for her to doubt anything. It had to be.

Kinda funny. Now I just have 2 questions...

What element should Katnappe be?

and...

Who should we have as the other 'Heylin Dragons' in training, if anyone?

And Dhampyr, Dashi's line was "Geez, Wuya, the years have not been kind."

Hmmm... Not Jack, I say. Let him become a third power ,for a huge plot twist. Subtly. Like, let the thing focus on the Xiaolin vs Heylin monks, while giving hints here and there that somethings amiss, even if for the lamented lack of a buttmonkey. Then, at the apex or when one side of member is at its weakest, like after an epic battle, let the Jack-hammer (heh) fall.

Or is this still in the MadMod as a relative idea?

Could work with both. Wuya training the new Heylin Dragons and showing them against the Xiaolin Dragons while Jack and Mod scheme away at some big plan, Mod's plans almost always seem to big that they would need some serious planning and prep.

And as for Wuya's other dragons...Maybe Clay's sister for earth?

Just a thought that occurred to me. I know it was the evil soup that made Chase turn and all, but I thought that the soup was connected to Hannibal Roy Bean. Is it possible that Bean's death might have some kind of unforeseen impact on Chase and his behavior the way Omi's presence is affecting Wuya?

Hmmm... Theory here, could also explain why a BEAN is evil. Let's say Bean is just the last in a line of receptacles of some ancient dark power that needs a host to combine with to survive and that he turned Chase evil because that way the entity would have a suitable host if Hannibal ever died and avoid what happened the last time. For your host to die and the only suitable host in the immediatey vicinities being a diseased bean, thing that hugely diminished his power level.

@whitewhiskey: Works. This way, we could have four sides. Xiaolin, Heylin, Technology, and this unknown powerful evil taking a hold of Chase. A fitting finale could be the three sides having to team up together to defeat this new Entity!Chase.

Clay's sister? Okay. So, Catnappe for... Fire? Clay's sister for earth. We're missing two of them.

Edit: JACK'S COUSIN FOR WATER!

I don't know. Remember, Bean may have given him the first bowl, but Chase has made it himself more then a few times. I only remember that A. It cost him his soul and B. one ingredient is a dragon, which is why he tried to use Dojo that one time.

Ok. So, up till now we have these ideas put together (I include mine from my last post).

I - Jack meeting his English relative and starting to get his game on once again, and what a game. After all, while all sides have one single mentor figure to slug at each other, he's going to have to fight four people on each of the other two sides on his own. He loses his last Shen-Gon-Wu and starts focusing on his technology only.

The way I see it, this can make the difference. The Eight Monks may have superior physical abilities, but Jack can, under Mod's guidance, build devices to up his own and give him other special ones. Why stop at the copter-pack? Devices that, unlike Wu, he doesn't have to lose in bets and can always just rebuild. I've always thought that if Jack started developing his own Techno-Wu he would have become a force to be reckoned with.

II - Wuya killing Bean and starting her own Heylin side of the force with Monks. Candidates up to now are:

Katnappe for Fire
Clay's Sister for Earth
Jack's Cousin for Water

We're missing some candidatures for Wind, or just candidatures in general

III - Chase slowly becoming overwhelmed by something more evil than even him, something that had been suppressed in Hannibal but that now he's growing ever so strong as he gets a hold of him and fuses with him.

Did I miss anything?

So something like a Prototype of the armour he had when he ruled the earth in that "Bad End" scenario  If it's the same universe as the Mad Mod idea, then I could see him drawing some ideas from Mod's colleges, and maybe some of the Titans, Cyborg's Sonic Canon especially. There's also the possibility of him trying to replicate the Monk's various abilities using tech as well.

Again, if it's the Mad Mod universe then, it depends on if you want Wuya's group to be all girls or not.

I have a really tough time buying this one, actually, I mean... It's Chase Young! He plays Wuya like a fiddle, and can apparently best her with little difficulty, even when she has her full power. I just can't see anything being able to forcefully posses him, unless he allows it as part of his plan.

He could also, maybe, kidnap that other dragon who was able to make fake wu (As crappy as they were) and maybe get at least one wu and study them. And Mod has been a thief, maybe they forget Wu for a bit and 'liberate' a few things from some advanced labs.

Well, it might not exactly mean a change in Chase. As I remember, he does tend to be a bit more...violent in his lizard form. Maybe it's not so much something taking over, but like a sudden rush of darkness either making hard to stay in his calmer human form, or his human form becoming more aggressive as he adjusts to the new power.

That could actually be pretty cool, and given that Wayne enterprises, and Star Labs have access to alien tech...

That's what I meant, and I already posted a list of all the female TT villains a few pages back, when we were discussing Mod possibly trying to set Jack up.

Actually, why not have Jack's cousin for Wind... and make it an inverse of the Xiaolin dragons, 3 girls, 1 guy? You could use that Basketball Kid that Omi became a friend with.... Jermaine, I think, as Water, maybe have him join as one of the team's two Token Good Teamates (Last we saw Clay's sister, she was going on the level, if you remember)

Jack's cousin wasn't evil either. Actually, that could be an angle you could work. Wuya is building her team of Heylin dragons without realizing the the only one she's recruiting that's even "evil" by any definition is Katnappe. And even Ashley isn't all that evil, really.

Of course, there's another way to take things if you make Clay's sister and Megan Spicer the Heylin Dragons for Earth and Wind that would fit with the 3:1 inversion. Namely that the Water Dragon spot is being reserved for Omi himself. Three girls all his age and trained in for a similar lifestyle to Omi's own. What could his mother be planning for her little treasure?

Well, Chase trained Jermaine for a relatively short time and Jermaine ended up strong enough to take on a Wudai Omi, I think Wuya could at least match that.

Or Wuya could just take the opportunity to spend time with her son any time the teams meet to try to recruit him/bond with him now that she has the chance. That leaves things three on three. It's not like Master Fung ever gets into the fights. The only time it could get sticky is if Guan was around, which might cause issues given that Dojo and Omi would take exception to Guan trying to do any lasting harm to Wuya.

I'm not sure if she could get Jermaine, he already knows her as 'evil', and he left Chase once he found he was evil. I kinda think if anyone recruited Jermaine, it might be Guan.

Gramps-"

"Jackie-boy, what did I tell you?" The englishman admonished his grandson slash apprentice as he tinkered with metal, a blue flame to work on minute pieces of metal.

"Alright, alright. Gran'da." Jack sighed, swinging the chair he was sitting on back and forth. "Again, I want to remind you that you lost my last Shen-Gon-Wu two weeks ago, and since then we have been holed up down here." With the last swing he slammed the chair's legs back on the ground. "Those 'Lin monks are probably laughing behind my back. I mean, we didn't even go out to search for the new one three days ago!" He pointed at a flashing red machine. "And now another one just appeared! Come on, Gran'da! We gotta get back in the game!"

"Jackie, my boy, you've been out of the game ever since you focused too much on those magical doodads." Mod turned off the oxyhydrogen flame and raised the protective gear from his face, observing his still flaming handiwork. He then handed it to a blue, red and white robot as Jack frowned at his mother's father. "You've lost your shining."

"What does that mean?"

"A great book from King, a marvellous movie with Ol' Jackie. Did you know your ma' named you after him?" No, he didnÔÇÖt. "But you're more like the kid, my boy. You have a powerful gift. But you've let it go."

"... I donÔÇÖt get it. I havenÔÇÖt been trying less. I-"

"You've been trying wrong, Jackie." With a low hiss and a burst of steam signalled the end of the process of a machine, which Jack recognized as the one his grandpa had finished building the other day. A union Jackbot had retrieved the metallic glove the man had finished working on seconds before, now shimmering in the artificial light of the lab. "You've been all hung up on those Wu, so much that you lost sight of your technological savvyness."

"Gran'da, is that even a word?"

"Jackie, my boy, the point is, why look for ancient artifacts of power..." Mod retrieved the glove from the Jackbot and put it on his right hand. Suddenly, veins-like markings on the metallic construct shone with blue light as the large object slimmed and adjusted itself to Mod's hand. With a smile, he held it over the Union Jack Bot. The light pulsed, the glove hummed. "When you can build new ones from scratch?"

An invisible force slammed onto the robot, which twisted like a tin can before exploding, sending scraps of metal and sparkles flying. Most, though, got slammed onto the floor by the unseen force, where they kept on twisting and flattening while the pavement started to sport cracks as well. Jack gaped. Then, he smiled, evilly. "Gramps, please tell me there's more."

"If you're willing to help with the project, my boy."

So, Jack and Mod are building WMD's, but would they even bother going after Wu again after that? I mean, I could see them maybe trying to get the Eye of Dashi as a power source for their invention, and Jack will probably want his Monkey Staff back but... Would they even bother to involve themselves with the Shengon Wu, if the stuff they build is just as good?

They would, if only because Jack has a lot of payback accumulated. Also, if there's something Jack likes, it's showing off. It would be less for the Wu, exception made for the really powerful ones or the ones that technology can't replicate, and more for a chance of being the one laughing and humiliating his enemies, for payback.

All they'd need to do in case Guan gets antsy is grab his spear, since he has such a hard on for it he was willing to trade Dojo over to Chase for it. Personally, I think he's a lich or something, and has his soul inside his true Spear of Guan. Explains why he has lived as long as he has, when Chase needed soup made from dragons to do it.

And on a separate note, I love Jack getting his groove back! I say he goes for the Moonstone Locust while he's at it, as it can spawn an infinite number of stone goddamn locusts. It's like Senbonzakura, only with infinite numbers at the cost of speed.
