Just a plot bunny i got after getting my copy of Dan Abnetts' Brothers of the Snakes.
What if Xander picked up a futuristic armor with an emblem of double looped serpent symbol on the shoulder plates. Now i know that there are other WH40K cross xanderfic but i cant help but wonder if instead of usually getting a well known hero or warrior of WH40K, he instead gets Brother Xander of Damocles squad under the Iron Snakes Chapter. As much as i like the idea of power armor remaining after the spell ended it would probably make Xander too overpowered however due to chance the memories of Brother Xander is melded into xander harris head.
Im not talking about getting the entire memories shoved into his head and can remember them at will but more similar to echoes which in certain situation will trigger xander to relive the moments of Brother Xander's memories throughout the novel. However muscle memory and probably the geneseed as well as the other enchancement would remain since the chaos magic created it during halloween cannot be dispelled without killing him in the first place.
Now my question is how would Xander Harris deal with it after going through several flashbacks? Would he slowly go insane or will he be able to separate the distinction between his and the Space marine memory? Would going through some of Brother Xander's flashback benefit or harm him.
