So, after the discussion about this possible scenario with Yuuno as the MC in the pic thread, I decided to give it a shot.

And, after brainstorming with my inner demons that's what came out.

Plot: Yuuno was having his usual day in the Infinite library, when his three childhood friends decided to pay him a visit near the closing hour, then suddenly some children that claims to be his children from the future starts to suddely appear. Chaos ensues.

Setting: I'd say post Strikers AU with the Materials and Eins around

Title: Lyrical choice? Hoping that someone can came out with something better.

Story arcs: First: The children start to appear, Second: Yuuno and the to be mothers bond with their respective son/daughter, some of the mothers from the future are shown, hints that Future!Yuuno is somehow missing. Third: The shit gets real, time for some family ass kicking Nanoha style.

And now the most important part: the Children.

I'd say that they are more or less all around 12-14, here's some ideas.

Must be in Tier:

Future Vivio: Around 18-20 years old, last to appear, comes back in time to help her father manage her younger siblings

Nanoha's duaghter: must have a japanese name, auburn hair and green eyes, she's a naive and innocent girl with the firepower of her mother and the defense of her father. Can shapeshift into a ferret.
I'm thinking about a possible twin brother that's learning Fuwa-ryu from his family on Earth. (Palette swapped Kyouya or Shiro)

Fate's daughter: Must be called Alicia, red eyes and the same hair color of Yuuno, I was thinking of using Innocent!Alicia as her base. Shapeshifts into a dog pup.

Hayate's daughter: Again jap name, looks like a miniaturized Hayate, she loves history like her father and is perverted as her mother. shapeshifts in a tanuki. WARNING: She gropes.
Addition: an Unison Device built using Yuuno and Eins Linker core as the base that acts like a true brother/sister.

Material daughters: still haven't thought about them yet.

It will be fun to see tier:

Signum Son: pink haired with blue eyes, dislikes fighting, but he's quite good at it.

Vita son/daugher: hotblooded redhead, not much more to add.

Shamal son/daughter: the healer of the party.

WTF tier:

Lindy son: I know you want to see it.XD

Nanoha and Vivio actually did have a cameo in Yomerio Choice pretty early on.

Except that the character designs for the kids are all boring. Something more interesting than Generation Xerox, make them more interesting.

Even more than that, I think you need to turn up the ridiculous space/time shenanigans as much as you can.

Here's some stuff off the top of my head, take it or leave it:

Like, the Yuuno/Fate and Yuuno/Hayate kids already met when some kinda Lost Logia Incident synchronized some Alternate Realities, and they have some really good romantic chemistry (maybe they're lesbians, maybe they're hetero and opposite genders, whatever), but that's still incest so it's weird.

There's no Yuuno/Nanoha kid, which makes Nanoha feel somewhere between jealous and left out, but definitely conflicted; one of the kids is like 60% sure the baseline reality of the story is the "Yuuno/Nanoha" one; whether that's the case or not turns into an academic argument a lot, because they're all nerds like Yuuno.

The one who started the whole mess by maybe kinda perhaps digging up and screwing around with a Lost Logia associated with Time Travel accidentally dragged his "alternate siblings" back to within a year or two of their conceptions (maybe). He's like Yuuno in that he's soft-looking, not much for direct combat magic (but troublingly ruthless with his razor floss), and tends to dig up lots of trouble; also he's also a puppet-master-type Troll. He doesn't reveal who his mom is, but hints at: 63!Chrono, Quattro, and (Human-Form) Rising Heart.

...Ah, Signum/Shamal/Vita's kids are from a pseudo-harem end when Yuuno bumbled through town, found the Book of Darkness inside Hayate before it started up, carefully took it out, and accidentally linked it up to himself. Around there, Hayate's a normal girl that just happens to be a mage (like Nanoha!), who became a firepower-type Ace. Anyway Yuuno's martyr switch was flipped and he blew town to solve the Book by himself without any help; because he had the Knight's support, he succeeded.
Anyway, for those kids, sometimes the almost Blue-and-Orange morality of the High Belkan Era leaks through; they tend to consider "monogamy" as "artificial scarcity".

The Big Bad Guy is, naturally, Evil Future Yuuno.
He never met any of them, because Nanoha didn't hear the Psychic Cry for Help way back in Season 1, Episode 1. So he got eaten by a Jewel Seed, and when the TSAB showed up and tried to figure out what happened after wiping Precia with an Arc-en-Ciel, his mangled body was given to Jail Scaglietti, and Scags was supposed to extract his memories using some kinda Project F-related tech; anyway instead Scags rebuilt him as a Cyborg Wizard. Now (well, in the future) they're bros, Yuuno helped Scags overthrow the TSAB and now they rule over Administered Space as a pair of Mad Scientists. Naturally, Hayate refers to this as the "Jail Route".

Well, Back to the comments. All of your ideas are gold, might as well give it a try. Especially Daniel's idea of time travel and plausible alternative routes, though Nanoha's part troubles me a great deal, even canon stated that the Nanoha and Yuuno did not have time for each other because of their workaholic nature... Ack, Tzusuki's poor excuse of an author made me bash my head at a wall(why can't he just write an background story on every characters he made in his official character book or something just to make the characters much more fun and interesting!), but, with this given opportunity distributed by time traveling, this can might an awesome development tool for the two of them.

Ack, I need to get my sanity in check from that horrid Emiya clan idea, especially the confusing stories of the adventures of a super marty-tsu: Shirou Zelretch Schweinorg, those things don't even make sense in Nasu-sense. Time to get an appointment with my Shrink! *Shivers*

The setting is after canon Strikers with hints of Yunoha as the main pairing.

The children all came from AU with the exception of Future!Vivio.

Fate's son is the nerdy guy who started all the mess because he wanted to see Hayate's daughter again. We all know that the Testarossa have the bad habit of messing with Lost Logia.

The children of Rein Eins and the Wolkies all came form an AU where Yuuno is the Master of the Night Sky, AU!Rein Zwei is Eins and Yuuno daughter.

Material kids appear from GOD AU where NanohaFate happened and Yuuno hooked up with the maerials.

If Nanya approves I'd like to borrow Sora, Isamu and Alicia to have them join the fray, considering the Relationship series as possible AU.

There is also an Eclipse infected child (mother is Curren) that came from an AU where Yuuno was infected by the virus and eventually helped find a cure after he joined the Hucks for a while.

The initial mess about the kids wanting their father to do their mother in order for them to not disappear was caused by the trolling from 63!Chrono Son/daughter.

The children are all nerdy guys and they somehow start to get along well after the initial mess is solved. They work together with their father to try to return back to their native universes.

Nanoha is somehow doubious about how Yuuno sees her, and she's quite jelous of the others, an eventual Future!Nanoha (from the story canon) later will explain that they decided to now have another child(Vivio counts as one) yet becase she still wanted to continue her work.

The Idea of Jail route Yuuno as the bad guy sounds interesting.

Final battle between will be between all the AU!Yuuno versus Evil!Futture Yuuno (Combat Cyborg, Jewel Seed powered and more or less evil emperor of his AU), while the kids and their mothers are busy protecting Mid-childa from the Evil Army of Doom.

In the first arc the kids will not appear all in one go, but slowly and in small groups. First to appear is Fate's son.

How does that sound?

This just kinda feels like removing a lot of the dramatic tension. Having Nanoha already set up in the beginning as a potential LI, takes away from the audience trying to figure out just who Yuuno will end up with by the end of it.

I think I preferred the idea that the kid kept hinting at diffrent people being his mother.

Nanoha is somehow dubious about how Yuuno sees her, and she's quite jealous of the others, an eventual Future!Nanoha (from the story canon) later will explain that they decided to now have another child(Vivio counts as one) yet because she still wanted to continue her work.

I think it's mostly just the idea of a Future Nanoha coming back just to help relieve Nanoha of her emotional insecurities that I find really flimsy, and weak. She has friends, and even if some of them are bonding with their children, their not just going to leave her alone to stew in things.

1- So, setting is Strikers with no real hints about the pairings.

3- I was thinking about it happening in the end, but with the inclusion of Nanya's possible children born from a YuNanoFate relationship the whole thing doesn't make sense from the begining unless they appear very late in the story. You can ignore that point almost completely.

I enjoy troll characters, especially if they're done well. Hell, they could even make passing references to Yuuno being his/her mother. Keep everyone confused, and constantly trying to figure them out.

I agree with Masta on this one, making YuNano the main couples lessens the impact and the suspense, making reading predicable. Just keep the shipping subtle. It can give a twist in the epilogue. And just keep the alternate routes to a minimum, three to five can do, it can confuse the readers sometimes.

Maybe make it so one of them is at least aware of what the hell is going on and is just trolling everybody for shit and giggles.
Also, MrCoin, EC and Shirou Kischurch Schweinorg are two different story. The former started on the Mechanics of In Flight forum, the latter started on BL.

After hearing the declaration, series of surprises voices echoed in the room.

"Are you sure that you don't mean dad?" Hayate asked to the young child.

"Nope, I'm quite sure that I know who my mother is." The child in question replied in a serious tone.

"How, that even possible, I'm straight... or at least I think that I am." Yuuno declared.

"SCIENCE is a wonderfull thing." The kid explained shrugging in a mater of fact tone.

"So, uhm... who's your father?" Fate asked him/her after recovering from the shock.

"That...is a secret." The newcomer replied with a grin printed on his face.

'Oh yes, it's going to be fun messing with father.' The child thought as he watched the present comically falling on the ground.

I think he meant limit the number of kids. Write the fic, and put him with whoever he has the best chemistry with.

That explained Yuuno's fear of cats in the 1st season.

And I am guessing that Yuuno did not know that Chrono sold him off to some guy for some rice and pickles...

However, I agree with lh here, keeping it small is a good idea.

I mean, you'd have to be some sort of writing god with a crazy powerful muse to do more than 7.

Though, I admit, the idea of a kid of the Wolkenritter's coming from an alternate timeline and teasing Yuuno with hints that he got Signum, Vita and Shamal would be hilarious.
