Young Justice Season 3 officially announced.

I didn't watch it when it was on originally, but I enjoyed most of the older DCAU (Batman TAS, Justice League, etc). Was it any good?

Very good. On par if not better (opinion varies) than the best of the DCAU. Kind of what the Nu!52 wanted to be, but failed.

The DCAU effectively ended when Justice League did. There have been animated DC programs since, but they're not part of the same setting as the others. There've been 3 different Batman focused shows in that time, each with their own artistic style and backstories that are separate from the others, as well as a cavalcade of video first movies and a number of shorts featuring different Heroes. There was even a Green Lantern show, which though it had some of the same creative team as the DCAU was still not in the same setting.

Young Justice is its own thing, and it's a good thing.
