To be fair, they obviously didn't have WBs permission to KS it--if they'd let it go through, that would mean a great deal of obligation on their part, which it's understandable they didn't want.
EO: I don't think it matters. SMGO's intentions may be good, but they handled this issue very badly. Beyond not getting WBs permission, I don't think they even ran it past the developers of the show--I don't know if Greg even knows about it, so they missed a huge chance on that front, missing out on Greg's ability to spread the word. Their goal is ridiculous--gathering a whole 10mil just to fund the thing, which is the largest baseline I've ever seen. The reward tiers are badly designed, not carrying anything anyone is likely to be attracted by and, perhaps worst of all, this was a hugely sudden thing. There was no warning, no spreading of the word, nothing.
This was horribly handled and was doomed to fail from the beginning.

Though this doesn't explain why the comic tie-in was cancelled considering it was apparently doing fantastic among girls as well and selling pretty decent numbers.

Well, from one perspective it's good business sense. After all Ad revenue and franchise stuff is what provides the funding in the first place, and if you're not able to show that your program can attract the promised demographics then that's a problem. In general though I think it's something of a baby out with the bath water. Rather than adapting to the increased ratings in other areas and trying to exploit that CN decides to aim at its preferred targets with something else.
Another issue with CN is the corporate atmosphere, I know that some shows, like the Thundercats Reboot, get cancelled because the executives who supported them either leave or are replaced and those executives successors don't want to spread credit around. I mention the Thundercats in particular because the current Lego Legend of Chima is extremely similar to it and that bugs me.

Netflix has a suggestions page right here. Although the socks can make it difficult to see where our ideas go, just click the top right hand corner, and let them know we want more Young Justice!

do you have a ballpark idea of how many are watching it though? Or is it just by the star ratings system?

Yeah I know, sounds like something we could improve in the future though, like a what’s hot page or something. Well from our side is just with the red stars rating, it changes depending of the region, for example in US it almost have the 5 stars overall
