So, I was reading some truly excellent FSN & Tsukihime fics last night (oneshots), and the strangest concept came to me. Unfortunately, this actually would work with either Shirou OR Shiki (at least, as far as I know), so I'm not sure who it would work better with.

Simply, instead of summoning Saito, Louise accidentally summon Shiki or Shirou. I think Shirou might be more interesting, as it falls to the original weaponmaster theme for her familiar.

On the other hand, Shiki would rape everything.
Eh, I really have no idea what direction this plot could go in, but it seemed interesting.

It's actually been done before. F1 has a fic started where it is Shirou, and there's a couple of stories where it is Archer, which I believe were inspired by a doujin with the same concept.

And out of a burning desire to read good stories, which fics were you reading?

Silence, and...eh, I can't remember the name of the other one.

Silence was in the FSN section.

The other one was in the Tsukihime section, about Arcueid telling Shiki about the True Ancestors.

Dunno if they'll be as good when I reread them with more sleep, but they seemed pretty good to me.

There was one where she summoned Archer, but AbyssalDaemon gave a critique so brutally honest that the author ran away.

When you get right down to it, as badly as she screw up even when she tries to do simple magic, you could have her summon just about anything.

I suppose it says a lot for my mentality that the first thing I say when I saw the title was: Zero no Shikima

Fairly simple to see where it could go from there, no...?

Although it depends how much control she has over it.

Anyway, I kinda wandered off point, but a scene like this is pretty much a wildcard in the hands of any author, so have at it.

I probably did go somewhat overboard at the time but given just how bad it was, at the time I felt somewhat justified. Besides if I ever screwed up that badly that I'd hope that somebody would point it out to me.

You didn't go overboard. An author needs to accept a certain level of criticism. I do believe that if done right such an idea could be great. If nothing else it wouldn't suffer from a Love Hina syndrome.
