My personal favorite starters are the classic three, used in the original Blue, Red and Green and then again in the GBSP remake Fire Red and Leaf Green. Though, that's mostly because Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard is my absolute fave pokemon.

I don't actually have the same nostalgic connection to the R/B/G starters most people seem to have, because I never played those games. My first game was Yellow, so the starters weren't integral to my team.
Was always disappointed Charizard went back to Charmander's orange, rather than keeping Charmeleon's Red when he evolved though.
I don't know of a lot of people who prefer the classic starters, so I'm pretty sure I'm an oddity. Especially since the few people who do like them, mostly go for Squirtle.
I used to really like all three of the RGB starter lines. These days, I find that nostalgia doesn't save either the Charmander or Squirtle lines from seeming uncreative and dull. The Bulbasaur line was the true ace of those three in my opinion.
To me the best starter set was in DPP; I like all three lines. Every starter set since DPP has had at least one I overall dislike, if not all three.
To be honest, I struggle to remember who the starters were after R/S/E. Can't remember any of D/P/P's, I vaguely recall the fire starter from B+W, but only because people complained about its typing. Can't remember X+Y's, and the only reason I remember S+M's is because I played it last year.
Ha. In Yellow, you could've picked up Mankey on whatever route it is that goes up to Victory Road, learn Low Kick, and sweep through Brock and his one hanger-on trainer.
The Orlando theme park that will include Super Nintendo World is delayed to 2025, though the Universal Japan's theme park is due to open in 10 days! (On the 18th)
Yeah. Last year, even though it was 3 years old already at that time, the system was selling out like nuts. I was seeing it go for $200 (CAD) premiums on eBay, too. Not quite that bad, now.
