Well, here's a crossover, the two series can be guessed. This is extremely rough, but please enjoy it nevertheless.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

äHow troublingô

The priest that mumbled those words carefully pressed his right hand against his stomach and felt the broken ribs shift even under a touch as light as a feather.

äIs that all you have to say? How boring. Just keel over and die already, you fake priest! You damn blasphemer!ô

His opponent snarled, her face crunched up into a mocking grin of the most disturbing kind as she let the cross that hung from her tongue dangle around. Her hands tightened again on the handle of her hammer as she yelled.

ôTraitors to the roman catholic church can just dieeeeee!ö

The giant weapon moved far faster than it had any right to, unleashing a violent gale that exploded forward as if guided by someones hand.

The moment the blast of air impacted on the altar, the priest had already moved. His goal was clear. He was wounded and if his enemy was who he thought she was, he was in a troublesome position.

A tactical retreat was the most prudent choice.

His opponent must have had had reached the same decision. Her hesitation when she saw him rush in close was proof of that. It was illogical after all.

For anyone that was not Kotomine Kirei.

For Kotomine the answer was obvious. His opponent had ceased to be his opponent the moment he had decided to run. Right now, all she was to him was someone that stood in the direct line between him and the door.

His blow sent her tumbling backwards, giving him the room he needed to rush past and to the entrance of the church.

He never even turned back, did not even consider attacking her while she was stunned.

Kotomine Kirei had already made his decision.

Before the woman could react he was already gone, leaving her alone in the demolished church.

Cursing, Vento of the Front, kicked at a piece of the altar she had destroyed before she tried to run after him. The moment she felt a stab of pain in her right side, she slowed to a walk again.

ôTzz, that bastard, what's up with a monster like that being able to attack me like its nothing. Is that guy totally empty inside?ö

ôThat might describe him pretty accurately, after all.ö

It was not a question that was meant to be answered. Someone did it nevertheless.

The man that had spoken was tall, but even his stature was dwarfed by the weapon he wielded. The sword he held in his right hand, oh so casually, was at least 3.5 meters long. And yet he didn't seem bothered by its weight at all.

Vento made a gagging voice as she snarled at the man.

ôSoooo, he's a damned sinner and a monster? What a joke! I should have killed that monster instantly then instead of playing with him.ö

The man did not answer immediately.

ôIt doesn't matter. We already reached our goal. The presence of the Puritans has been confirmed, as well as their involvement in this ceremony.ö

When he did, his voice bore a sense of closure. For that peerless mercenary, the first victory had been attained.

Vento sneered at his words, once more showing her antagonizing personality.

ôGreat, fantastic, so where is that idiot that made us go all the way to this country just to confirm this?ö

ôHe hasn't shown his face since we arrived, who knows what he is planning? There are so many secrets in this place, still don't you find this entire charade interesting? The holy grail, hehehe, really now, doesn't that make you curious?ö

Yet another voice answered her question.

The man it belonged to enters from the door that Kotomine left through. He was....green. From head to toe he was clad in that sole color and even his hair was green.

ôTerra.ö

The man with the giant sword spoke the green ones name. Terra, of the Left.

ôWho knows when Fiamma will contact us again? That man always does what he wants, no matter who gets in his way. Fine I say. Until he deems us worthy of his esteemed presence, lets have some fun?ö

Terra was grinning as he spoke. He was obviously enjoying every moment of this.

ôYou want to involve yourself in this ceremony then?ö

ôThat's right, Acqua, that's just right. If this truly is the holy grail, then surely there can be no one more deserving of it than us, God's Right Seat.ö

ôAnd if it isn't....we can just crush that fake grail and put an end to this ridiculous battle royal.ö

This time it was Vento that spoke, her opinion, as always, more cynical than that of Terra.

The man with the giant sword, Acqua of the Back, remained quiet. His face was set in stone as he contemplated the possible outcomes of this Ceremony.

ôIf our intel is correct, that will be no easy task. Spirits of Power. Heroes of Legend. Should we really waste our time fighting monsters like that?ö

Those careful words were a stark contrast to his voice. They may have sounded weak if anyone else had spoken them, but coming from this man, they were nothing but a subtle sign of his caution. His voice betrayed no fear, no cowardice. The words had been spoken clear and cold. No matter what he said, Acqua of the Back held no fear of those heroes.

Terra started to laugh.

Vento snickered.

Only Acqua himself remained still, cold as ice.

ôWhat do you think Acqua, are those heroes so powerful, so legendary, so absolutely overwhelming that we of God's Right Seat should throw ourselves at their feet and beg for forgiveness?ö

Acqua didn't answer.

Instead he lifted the sword in his hand, as if to strike down his very comrades. And then, in a movement that could not be followed anymore by humans eyes, the greatsword that was called Ascalon disappeared from sight.

In that instant the walls and roof of the church that had already been demolished by Vento's hammer and wind simply disappeared.

It was as if the fist of god himself had descended to put an end to the charade of this fake church.

And in the remains stood the three members of God's Right Seat, untouched by the violent destruction that had been visited on the building they had been inside.

Ascalon's tip had been driven into the ground, leaving Acqua's hands free.

He held them out before him, staring at them for a moment as if to confirm their strength to himself.

He closed them to fists and looked up, staring into the eyes of his companions.

ôNo, they're neither that powerful nor are they that legendary. The ones that shall receive the holy grail will be God's Right Seat.ö

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both the sword and the lance had frozen a mere half-an inch before they could have drawn blood.

Lancer was staring the at the edge of the sword that could have slashed his throat open.

His opponent was staring at Lancer however, completely ignoring the tip of the lance that was pointed directly at her heart.

No, that was not the complete truth.

Even though she hadn't even looked at it, she knew exactly where it was and what its position meant.

Lancer's face broke into a grin and he started to laugh.

Neither of them moved their weapon.

ôOh man, it seems I missed some seriously entertaining development by dying so early. To think that there could be humans that can match servants.ö

Lancer snickers before smiling at the women in front of him.

ôI take it back, darling, you won't get in my way at all.ö

Hearing those words, his opponent finally lowered her sword.

Gae Bolg however, did not move.

ôTch, what a hard-headed woman. Yes, yes, you are a match for a servant, now let go of my weapon already.ö

With a flick of her wrist, dozens of invisible threads were loosened, finally releasing Gae Bolg from where it had been brought to a forceful rest.

Sheathing her katana, Kaori Kanzaki turned away from Lancer, as if she didn't even intend to speak to him before leaving again. Seeing that, the blue-clad servant couldn't help himself.

ôHm..whats with the cold treatment? Don't tell me you're still pissed! Being spunky is nice and all but that's just not attractive at all.ö

Stopping, the young woman whispered something.

ôHm, sorry, I can't hear you if you keep mumbling into your chest, darling?ö

The next thing Lancer registered was the pain of her scabbard being embedded into his skull and her scream ringing in his eyes.

ôSTOP LOOKING AT MY CHEST ALREADY!ö

Jumping backwards with the irate woman charging at him Lancer grinned ruefully. Yes...he might have done better in their fight if he had just concentrated on her sword instead of her other assets.

But then....an existence like Cu Culainn didn't get many chances to experience the world in all its splendor. So...spoiling himself a little had to be ok, right?ö

From the shadows, Stiyl Magnus continued to watch his servant and his partner duke it out. He was contend to stay out of their playing around. He had other things to consider anyway. The request from the Archbishop had been clear.

Participate.

Win.

Obtain the holy grail.

It should have been easy with a top-notch servant like Cu Culain and a Saint on his side. However even the best of plans could ran afoul of personalities that were simply incompatible.

ôTch...what does that guy usually say around this part? Right! Such misfortune...ö

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ôSaber, eh?ö

The voice had alerted them to the presence of the intruder.

The moment the king of knights had lain eyes on him however, her entire demeanor had changed.

Something was seriously wrong with the blond girl. Even Shirou could tell that much.

The way her pupils had dilated, the way she was gripping her invisible sword so tightly. One could feel the pressure she excluded right now just by being this close to her.

ôTo just find a master and his servant on the first night, that's pretty lucky but then...I didn't think I'd find the one with the strongest servant first.ö

The enemy, Shirou Emiya had no choice but to label him as such, not after seeing Saber's reaction, took a single step forward.

ôWhat's wrong Saber? Do you know that guy? Is he a servant?ö

Still concentrating on the enemy in front of her, Saber couldn't even bring herself to shake her head.

Couldn't he feel it? She already knew that Shirou was only marginally talented as a magus but still...to not feel the malice this man projected was ludicrous.

No, this was more than just malice.

This was a pressure unlike anything she had ever faced before. Her entire being was screaming at her to get away from the monster in front of her. It wasn't even about a difference in power. She had experienced that before. No, this was something far different.

The instincts that bordered on precognition on the battle field were screaming at her to run.

As the heroic spirit of the blade, no, as a king she knew what it meant to face her fear.

This was a completely different matter though.

Just being in the presence of that thing in front of her, made her skin crawl. To clash with that monster would mean instant death. This thing would, with certainty, be able to kill any heroic spirit in one strike. No matter how strong, no matter how fast, no matter what divine protection one employed.

In short, Saber understood immediately that the man in front of them was an enemy that was to be defeated at all costs.

No hesitation, no restraint, no surrender.

The thing that terrified even the King of Knights had to be destroyed.

ôShirou....stay back. I will deal with this.ö

The moment the words had left her lips, she had already dashed forward, leaving Shirou to shout after the blur that she had become.

ôWhat? What are you talking about? Saber?ö

Shirou could only stare as Saber charged at the enemy at full speed. Was it a servant? Was it a master?

He had no answers to that question. He could not even understand why Saber had reacted the way she had.

The invisible sword was already swung with all her might, intend on cleaving her foe apart before he could react. An attack that was too fast for a human to react to.

RUN

And if her instincts had not been at their maximum already, her first attack would have been her last too, as her opponent instinctively brought his fist up just so that it would meet her sword.

A bare fist against the holiest of swords.

The instant the wind sheath was ripped through Saber jumped back with all her strength.

Golden light poured from the ruptured sheath of wind as violent gales escaped from the now incomplete protection.

And her opponent was still standing her, clenching his fist and staring at her with something bordering on unease on his face.

ôSeriously...attacking me without giving me any chance to talk and at that kind of speed. Isn't that just unfair? I didn't think you servants would be monsters like that. Shows what I know, that seriously would have killed me.ö

ôWho the hell are you? What are you, if you're not a servant? Answer me?ö

Saber's hostility had only increased after seeing the wind sheath of her Noble Phantasm disrupted so casually. Her tone of voice left no illusion that she intended to do anything but strike him down.

Her enemy could only sigh.

ôSuch misfortune.ö

Touma is THE glass cannon. He could probably wreck... yeah, everyone's shit.

Not that that's any different from To Aru canon. It's just here there's different illusions to be broken. Touma could probably kill fucking Berserker. With one punch. About the only one who couldn't be instantaneously dispelled is Gil. And even then, it's possible.

Of course, just about any Servant could still ream him. Trying to block Berserker's 'sword', if you could even call it that, would result in a messy smear of Touma. That's a fucking stone column, being swung around fast enough to fight Saber[/s] who, in addition to being a master swordsman, is rather tiny.

... What's Touma doing in Fuyuki, anyway?

...First off, I like this idea, can't wait to see where it goes. Mind you, when they discover the 'Holy Grail' is just named that, and not the actual thing many headwallings will occur. Although the reactions to Shirou and Archer's Reality Marble will be insanely fun too, thats the kinda thing even Touma would have problems cancelling.
I'm guessing the Mages Association is seperate from the Church mages right?
Also, Touma bein' a boss with that Imagine Breaker, this will end in swords and well-cooked food I say, swords and well-cooked food.

Shouldn't he technically not be able to disrupt Saber, her being actually there and all? Or do I have my details on Saber's status wrong again?

I mean, not that it's not still hax, but yeah.

Depends. Those Servants are supposed to be too fast for anything human to follow (though they do seem to lose that the more Shirou fights them).

Or it could be that they recognize Touma is stronger than God because they are semi Divinity.

Ok, I can understand Kanzaki fighting on even ground with Lancer. But the schange between Touma and Saber shout Whrong so loud you could hear it from the moon. The guy guy couldn't follow Kanzaki movements when she was holding back but here he blocked one of Saber's blows. I think some splanetion is in order.

except saber has that too and a higher version to boot, so she should still gib him if she was still trying.

honestly, i wish you luck with integrating the universes. There's way to many conflicts on concepts between them.

She got instinct bordering on precognition.

He got hax precognition.

I'm not sure where you're getting your relative level comparison from, but there's leeway in there for boosting one or the other.

(It's not concrete, but I'll say the precognition is higher than the almost precognition. But they're at least the same. Actually it's probably best to just say that the Indexverse is poorly written and overpowered and contains various implications from certain abilities and stats that aren't followed through. Levels vary according to whatever the story needs...it's not that well defined.)

Hax pregocnition can do nothing when your body can't keep up, Touma still got his ass kicked by Kanzaki .

She's physical.

See him react to other more faster attacks.

Like I said...it's wildly inconsistent...

Hell, Shirou probably has a higher chance of defeating Touma than most Servants (other than Gil and Zerker, since Zerker uses an actual physical weapon and Gil got a body), since at the end of the day, Shirou could just...punch Touma in the face.

Eh. Archer would kick his ass. Touma might dispell the Noble Phantasms with a touch, but Archer could just project more of them.

And, of course, Berserker, Rider, and Assassin would kick his ass because they're not using Noble Phantasms as their weapons.

Rider's and Assassin's weapons are magical. They aren't the same as Zerker's.

Against Archer, if it's a long range fight Touma got like...no chance. It's like shooting fish in a barrel, except the fish can block the bullets and the shooter got like thousands of bullets.

Yeah, Archer could probably wear Touma down by sheer spamming, even if it takes hours.

He doesn't even need to do that. Just have K + B strike two different places at the same time. Also, Touma's precog would still be fairly inconsistent wouldn't it?

Heck, if it came to a street fight, even Shirou could win.

Given that Imagine Breaker appears to be a built in Rule Breaker, what would happen if they came into conflict? That is, what if Touma was stabbed by Rule Breaker, either on his hand, or elsewhere on his body?

IB is a bit stronger than RB.

A bit stronger being a lot stronger.

Just have K + B strike two different places at the same time.
That's the thing though, it's a bit easier said than done...especially since the wildly inconsistent precog has Touma defending against omnidirectional attacks that travel at who knows how fast.

it's plot precog, he'll stumble and get hit but block it enough that it won't be fatal.

any servant should pwn touma it's called hey were super human... we can just grab that car/tree/wall/stick/rock and hit him with it like a club because my normal weapon is gone.

Ok, so he basically has a superpowered Rule Breaker built into his hand, and insane levels of plot armor. I'll admit, I stopped following Index around when it became apparent how the whole amnesia thing was going to be handled. (From what I remember, it seemed as if he barely cared that he had forgotten everything, and he still acted the same. Who we was before basically died,'and nothing really changed. It just bugged me. Anyway, this is off topic)

What would Kuzuki do to him? I seem to recall him being rather strong and skilled, even without Caster's buffs.

Also, could God Hand adapt to resist Imagine Breaker?

Muramasa

1. Sans plot armor Kuzuki would kick Touma's ass.

2. Touma can cancel most Servants. God Hand's irrelevant.

#24
Actually. IB rejects all supernatural phenomenons. Technically, Touma could kill a servant simply by touching them with IB since they are fully spiritual beings which are already being rejected by the world at all times and need a contract to remain active. If Touma were to touch Heracles with IB then Heracles would lose his God Hand while he's touching it, which means that the servant will have no super skin, have only 1 life, and on top of that his existence will begin breaking down because he is a spiritual being himself. IB is indeed hax and insanely deadly to servants...

If i remember correctly, Accelerator believes that Touma's precognition is actually a subconscious ability to sense the changes in AIM fields and magic. Basically, Touma's precog only works on supernatural attacks, fully human attacks he's just as vulnerable as anyone, though he's already a good street fighter.

Actually, as a result of this weakness, Kuzuki is probably the best match up against Touma, as so long as Caster doesn't buff him, he's using nothing but human abilities. This means Touma can't use Imagine Breaker and his precog shouldn't work. Touma is a street brawler, while Kuzuki was a professional assassin who specialized in killing without any weapons. In other words, Touma would be screwed if he fought Kuzuki one on one.

Basicly, Image Breaker works like this. If you're awesome, and any of your awesomeness is attached to something supernatual, you immedeately lose all of your awesomeness while Touma is around, plus you get handed an idiot ball. Also, if you're a girl, you suddenly want his babies for no reason.

If your existance is based on something supernatual, and image breaker touches you, you die. I'm given to understand that some things (lucifer, though I haven't read that far), can't die, so instead they become sealed for a very very long time, but nothing in the Holy Grail War approaches that level.
