I was thinking for a moment on character-bashing and so forth. There will always be fics that make the villain actually good or the hero turn dark or what have you.
Still, I don't think that this has been done, so I have a challenge that I may or may not attempt, myself.
Write a Harry Potter fanfic that puts Delores Umbridge in a positive light.
I mean, any number of crazed fangirls will make Snape or Voldemort secretly have hearts full of twu wuv...ahem, just had to swallow my bile there...but I don't think anyone's even bothered trying to make Umbridge look good.
With good reason, mind, but that's why it's a challenge. Anyone dare to tackle it?
