Bleach A Little Extra Motivation...

A thought: if Ichigo fully believes he got Rukia pregnant, and his main motivation is to protect their baby, the Hogyoku might well respond by actually making Rukia pregnant after they wind up meeting again, so that there is a baby for him to protect.
This will, of course, make her protestations that her and Ichigo aren't together like that fall on deaf ears, because she obviously had sex since she's pregnant, and you don't get that way without someone helping.
I have the feeling Aizen would LOL and then grin at the evidence of the Hogyoku's true powers. Urahara would just hold his fan in front of his mouth and act like a jackass, because he might have lied to Ichigo and altered his memories, but obviously someone had done the deed.

Ichigo is the father of Rukia's baby. But, Rukia is a virgin(for the sake of this topic, let's say). Now, the only other time some like this has happened in human history I am aware of is claimed to be Mary conceiving Jesus despite being virgin.

The revelation of Rukia's pregnancy had sent Soul Society into a frenzy. The news was on everyone's lips, and with the prognosis "confirmed", Ukitake found he had new allies in fighting for Rukia's release.
Though he didn't think he really wanted Mayuri on his side... Then again, who did?
Still, the most surprising reaction was Byakuya's, which was why he was visiting Rukia once again.
"Captain? What is it?" Rukia asked. Ukitake managed a smile despite the grim situation.
"Well... It's not a release order yet... But, well..." He shrugged, and handed Rukia a note. Rukia frowned, and opened it up. She read it quickly.
"... The Kuchiki clan recognizes the marriage between Kuchiki Rukia and Kuchiki Ichigo nee Kurosaki?!" She screeched.
"Ah, um... Congratulations?" Ukitake said with a smile, rubbing the back of his head as Rukia seethed. "I thought you'd be happy... Now your baby will, you know..."
"Not be a bastard?!" Rukia snarled. Ukitake nodded.
"Er... Yeah..." At the furious look on the young woman's face, Ukitake coughed.
"Well, if you need me for anything I'll be reachable by butterfly goodbye!"
He left quickly-Rukia's temper was rather infamous, after all, and even at his strength level he wasn't going to take any chances of her hurting-Er, him hurting her...

"Setting aside the previous charges," Yamamoto stated dryly as he motioned for his Fukutaicho to hand out a series of scrolls to all the officers present.
Waiting until all the Captains had a scroll Yamamoto stamped his cane once before continuing. "It still does not change the fact that the officer in question has violated the regulations of the Gotei 13."
Yamamoto glared at the lounging form of his old student Shunshi, and stabbed his cane in his direction before barking out. "Taicho Kyoraku since you are intimately familiar with the regulation in question, review it for all of us."
Left unsaid was that Yamamoto had drawn up said regulation because of Shunshi in the first place.
"Ara, ara." Shunshi softly uttered as he scratched at this beard. "Yama-jiji what was the regulation about again?"
A single white eyebrow was raised in response.
"Oh, that regulation," Shunshi drawled out. "Improper relations with mortals while on patrol wasn't it."
Shunshi brightened up at that and a grin crossed his face. "Say Jushiro remember the time in Venice in the 1500's. Ah I should take my Nanao-chan to Venice."
Jushiro just sighed at that. Venice had been the incident that had caused Yamamoto to write the regulation in question.
"A month confined to barracks," Toshiro grunted out. "Is the typical punishment is it not."

You know if you wanted to your idea could be exactly what Urahara was shooting for. A mortal human breakdown sphere would stop being a DEM upon death or perhaps at the moment it became independent of its current host by any method other then Aizen's plan A or B

This would be followed by him planning Rukia's living world baby shower and getting started on some Quincy themed baby clothes
Orihime: Kurosaki-kun's BABY and or BABIES must be saved from their unjust fate no matter the cost.
She would also for a short time be under the mistaken impression that Ichgo is pregnant and Rukia's the Father.
