All right thanks to my superior limited attention span, tons of caffeine, a quiet night and my infamous muse I have developed a new idea for a Code Geass cross. I still have the Naruto version but I still need to work on the concept and we will discuss it but now I have a train of though you might be able to get behind, given that we are both new to Code Geass this makes a bit more sense.
First Off this will be an Evangelion/Code Geass crossover fic, the implied feeling of evil you get is expected.
Back-story: The Event known as Second Impact did in fact occur in the year 200, due mostly in part to the idiocy of the Katsuragi Research Team being fool enough to attempt such a stupid test on an alien lifeform they knew virtually nothing about. A state of chaos followed as countries went to war by the day each crippled nation being absorbed one after the other or fighting back for new territory, The Holy Empire of Britannia struck at this point absorbing the few remaining countries in the America's not directly under its control and thus finally gaining absolute domination over that section over the world while at the same time consolidating its power abroad.
The Euro Universe, Chinese Federation and Nation of Australia used this opportunity to in turn at least determine the true boarders of their own nations; of course, there were a precious few nations left on their own including Japan amongst others. A year after Second Impact the superpowers sign the Valentine treaty declaring at least for the moment any possibilities of war between them in the wake of this tragedy but the lust for conquest would not be quelled long.
Charles Di Britannia, 98th Emperor of the Holy Britannia Empire soon learned of the Dead Sea scrolls and the plot of a group that went by the name of SEELE, choosing instead of aiding their cause to destroy them and find a way to unravel the strands of fate that would call the final piece of humanity. However, no on with knowledge of the Angels knows how it has recently been shown that in fact they will not, that the emperor has found a way to keep them silent and in fact, his scientists theorize the Lilith hypothesis is in fact a fake.
The standing theory of those in the know or I might use goes that ADAM & Lilith were sent, one to clear the planet of life and the other to in turn create a new race of beings in which case humanity that currently exists was not born from Lilith because the process was never actually began in the first place, though if I go that route I start having a very dangerous idea about the origins of Shinji & Rei given the birthdates I would use on both.
This also might explain the weapon system I saw on the emperors profile but that can wait for now.
In 2010, the second war of the pacific occurs in which The Holy Empire of Britannia conquers the Nation of Japan in a month's time, mostly due to utilization of the new attack medium known as Knightmare Frames that debut for the first time in this conflict. The end of the war signifies Japan as a formal colony of Britannia, renamed Area 11 and its citizens known as "Elevens".
Story Components/concepts.
1) The story will begin in 2017, at the start of Code Geass year-wise which only tacks on an extra two years to our cast but then it should not change much, overall.
2) Gendou & Yu Ikari are both deceased, Gendou died a long time ago when Shinji was around the age 3-5 the target of Assassination before the war even occurred but sadly his son bore witness to the gruesome execution of his father and Yui Ikari died later between the years 2013-15 during an industrial accident hat occurred at the lab in which she worked. This left her Son Shinji Ikari and her daughter Rei Ikari/Ayanami with either no one or relative that doesnÆt really treat them well; however, it is fine as they will have a large trust fund/inheritance.
3) We can easily make it so that Shinji grew up with Suzaku & Lelouch it would add a new element to things, in which case Rei would be either close to them or close to Lelouch's younger sister. This relationship will set up for a bit of drama later on but it in turn is not entirely necessary for the story to work.
4) Project E was began under GEHIRN in the early years after Second Impact but obviously never got anywhere, it was also one of the first places to be shut down after the conquest or if you prefer the government of Japan did it to conserve resources. The Geofront was discovered but due to the Project being shut down and GEHIRN essentially wiped out it remained a half-finished complex, imagine the early Geofront Naoko Akagi once spoke of and you will get the picture mentally.
5) We may need to rename Tokyo-3, unless we play Tokyo-02 off as the new Tokyo and have it just extend into the remaining area's that were left of the Old Tokyo given the changes by Second Impact this is quite possible. In addition, we have to consider that our Tokyo-03 will not have a lot of stuff the original had, it is just another city really but with all the new technologies the empire brought in without the crippling sight of ruins everywhere.
6) As I consider a new type of Knightmare Frame to bring in for what Shinji will do, in this case he could be acting on his own bringing together a group slowly or be recruited by another rebellion faction along with Rei I am looking at the Mecha used in Full Metal Panic and the Mecha that appears in Burst Angel. Also I am toying with the idea of Yui Ikari beginning the creation of these Unit, hence the reason for this accident just have her leave them hidden in the Geofront a place only Shinji would recall how to access.
