A Star Wars forum

As of this moment, every single thread in the Movie Fanfiction subforum is about Star Wars. Moreover, Star Wars is one of the most enduring and popular fandoms out there. There have been Star Wars crossovers posted in the Harry Potter, Ranma 1/2, and Neon Genesis Evangelion forums. If for no other reason, do it for the lulz.

Every single thread? Wow, 'cause I could swear that the most current thread there was Star Trek...

Technically, all the threads in the idea subforum are Star Wars (with a few crosses), but that's only eleven topics. There are a few in the previews and talk, but not that many.

Not saying that a Star Wars topic wouldn't be good, or whatever. However, it's hardly needed considering there aren't that many threads for it. And the crossovers are fine where they are according to Hawk's rules.

I think that one would be nice to have, there have been several threads scattered about about Star Wars and it could use one. More than Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Alchemist at least. There are threads in all sorts of areas cartoons, TV, and movies for the most part but others are scattered in.

I'm in favor of this if the scattered threads can be moved to it; because currently it has a legitimate claim to placement under Movies, Books, Comics, Games, and Cartoons -- as the first one is canon and the others have been allowed by Lucas.

Actually, all of the above are considered canon

Lucas himself says he doesn't follow the "other universe", which is his own term, and since he is the creator, his opinion is what I follow.

Must resist temptation to bring up certain elements of the Prequel Trilogy to show the flaws in that thinking....

You know what I'm talking about :p

Probably not, since I never bothered seeing Episodes II or III, and only saw Episode I once, a few weeks after it came out.

I don't actually like the films that much, and have never bothered to look into any other of the various properties. Lack of interest.
