Alternate Candidates for the Mooncats

Hmmm... advisors... preliminary choice picks...
Silia Stingray (Bubbleum Crisis) (hey she is a vigilante leader too)
Tessa (Full Metal Panic) (hey she is a vigilante leader too)
The Captain (Dominion Tank Police) (he reads books on how to kill all the time, can give tons of advice on helping them do so, efective questioning teechniques)
The gals (Debutante Detective Corps) (money for better uniforms/equipement, and a electronics genius and pilot fro transportation)
Ifurita (El Hazard OAV) (heavy duty large scale backup and battle tactics computer in one)
Rally Vincent (Gunsmith Cats) (for thinking outside the box and unorthodox tactics)
Kumiko Yamaguchi (Gokusen) (for being a crminal yet being just the right side of good, and being a trainer)
Miyuki and Natsumi (You're Under Arrest) (to keep the Senshi in line and also a supply line for bothweaponry, advice, and legal government contacts and aid)
Tabitha (Familiar of Zero/Zero no Tsukaima)
Shigure (History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi) (for helping them understand that it is us vs them and there is no in between... if she can take out a whole sentai team with a spoon, she can definately teach them ruthless combat)
Yuki (Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzimiya) (reality altering and battle tactics... enemy would not stand a chance)

From a story perspective Twilight Sparkle and Falcor are fairly easy to justify. Heck you could actually have Luna invite Twilight over to serve as Usagi's tutor in magic and school subjects. I wouldn't plan on bringing the entire mane caste over but seeing Miss Sparkle interacting with the other Senshi could be interesting.
Falcor would make excellent transportation/team cheerleader in some of those early conflicts, and he might even prove helpfule with Chibi Usa on down the line.
Tessa allows us to bring in FMP tech and might even allow us to suggest that 'Black box' technology is in fact left over from the old Moon kingdom.
Ifurita would be another ancient Moonkingdom devices, Something created by Usagi's father to protect her, a guardian that would never betray her, always have time for her....actually I making her sound like the T-800 from Terminator 2....which still works actually.
