Have any of you been to the Barber's? I did with two of my characters, My Draenei in Ironforge and one of my Blood Elves in Orgrimmar. But strangely enough they didn't have the same hairstyles available. How come? Does every town have different hair styles or does it depend on the race?

At least my Blood Elf looks cute with her Chibi-Usa hairstyle ^_^

And my Draenei now looks really great with her braided hair (looks somewhat like Storm from X-Men)

It's race dependant. Basically, rather than actually get new haircuts, what they did was allow you to switch between default haircuts, and a few random selection of haircuts from other races.

They didn't actually add anything new, or make all hairstyles available to all races.

Yeah. It isn't too special.

That being said, my Draenai Pally and my Female Human Rogue looks nice now IMO. :p

Eh. I chose the "Gon Freecss" haircut for my Draenei tankadin. It looks better with each new piece of gear I nab for him. I'm not changing a thing.

Well, I suppose I might change the facial hair (a.k.a. "face tentacles") one of these days. But I don't usually see his face, and the various Draenei facial "hair" options all suck, so probably not.

I changed Anaba's (fem. BE) hair color and earrings. I've been meaning to turn the hair back to what it was. Blonde doesn't suit her. Red did.

I found out there's an option in the settings menu that allows you to turn the helmet invisible. And that's what I'vedone. I'm still getting all the bonuses of thta piece of armor without it being visible.

That's usually what I do with my characters, unless a helm looks badass enough. Even with those, I sometimes switch between visible/invisible helm setting though.

Heheh. Nice.

And I was wondering why some toons who, when I inspected them, had a helmet that wasn't showing. It never occurred to me that there was an option to make it invisible of sorts so that you can show off the face and hair.

Usually I'll leave the helmet exposed. But with some of the new hair styles, I'll probably click that option on just to view the prettiness of my character's new look. :p

You can find that option in the display menu. You can also hide your cape.

I really like my Draenei's hair. It looks great.

Hmm... I wonder if anyone has ever had the guts to create some sort of 'nude' patch. Hey, it exists for the SIMs.

I've seen it around. So yes, someone did create it.

Just that, only you would see the nakedness. After all, it patches your game, not theirs. :p

If they made it where others could see it... Blizzard would bring out the banhammer. :unsure!:

There's only one current working nude patch for WoW.

.... What?

Ahem, I'm not linking it....

Here.

Would be rule violation too since this isn't the Lemon forum.

...

If Hawk ever comes back and scans the forums again.

Somehow there's still no good hairstyles for undead.

Really annoying me since Undead Female is one of my favorite races.

There's a disturbing snapshot into the inner workings of your mind.

But in all seriousness, my favourite races to play as are Human, Night Elf (female only), Draenei, and Blood Elf

Same here. And all of them female. Hey, I enjoy eye candy.

The only characters I play in WoW, almost entirely female. Yeah. I like eye candy too. ^_^ The exception being Orcs, Trolls, Dwarfs, and Gnomes (though the female Gnomes are not bad). Ugly factions don't lend themselves to nice looking felmales.

Even the Undead females don't look that bad. Certainly not the ugliness that is the Orcs and the Dwarves. :p

As an addendum to my previous post (and because I want to increase my post count), I would like to add that when I play as a Human or Blood Elf, I'm more likely to create a male character, as I use them in a more role-playing sense, in that I would imagine myself doing those things.

And on the topic of Undead females, I categorically refuse to play them at all, for obvious reasons.

The reasons may be ovious to you but I don't have a clue. The only thing I gather is that you're probably not into necrophilia.

100% correct, Dumbledork; I find the very idea of engaging in sexual activity with a dead body to be completely, totally repugnant; unless it's happening for teh lulz.
