Batman Fic Search(s)

Hello, I've been pulling my hair trying to find a fic...I don't remember it very well, but all I know is that a character from outside the DC-Universe(self insert maybe?) meets the Joker and is surprised to see that the Joker is the way he is because he knows that he lives in a comicbook.

Without a interesting main villain, there would be no Batman comicbook, meaning that the Joker is implying that without him being the villain...nothing would exist. So by being a murderous insane clown, he is drawing in readers and making it so the world does exist.

That would be from Chapter 8 of dogbertcarroll's fic "Lacking an Anchor." It's Xander in a... weird version of the DC universe, so be prepared.

Because it's been bothering me, but I'm sure I saw a fancomic somewhere that presented an alternate back-story for Catwoman. And a fic that went along with it.
