Harry Potter Best Harry Potter Fic EVAR!!!

So, in my current state of boredom/laptop meltdown, I've been considering writing a fic to parody as much of fanfic staples as I can.

Here's a couple of aspects I was considering:

Independent Harry: Screw waiting for Dumbledore's machinations to be revealed. Harry's going on his own right from the start! After all, it's not like eleven year olds have trouble living on their own, right?

Hermione/Snape: Snape falls in love with Hermione when she answers a potions question correctly, and Hermione falls for the dark, mysterious Potions Teacher. In first year. Depending on how much squick I want to have, it'll be shy glaces across the lab for a bit, or some sick, twisted clusterfuck of a relationship. I may have to read Lolita to get some inspiration.

Manipulative Dumbledore: I'm just going to make him already rule the world, and possibly be engaged in epic conflict with a pair of lab mice.

Grey Harry: I think I'll go with balancing scale here, so Harry will alternate casting Dark and Light Spells. Like casting a cheering charm before Avada Kedavra. As long as its balanced, right?

Animagus Harry: Either something useless like a sea cucumber, or something insanely overpowered, like God. Maybe Divine Sea Cucumber as a compromise.

Obviously, I need some more cliches and other things to make fun of, so please give me some suggestions. I'll probably think up a few more today, and update accordingly.

Part of me is tempted to turn it into a deconstruction at some point, but given how silly some of these are likely to turn out, I doubt that would mesh too well.

Thoughts?

Continue your current stories first.
Which ones are you referring to?

As I mentioned in the OP, my laptop, which has ALL of my fics on it, it currently in a meltdown state, which means that most of that stuff is currently out of reach. I'm hopeful that the guys at Toshiba will fix it, and that I won't lose anything, but that'll take about two weeks so I'd like something to do in the mean time.

@Raine: Thanks for caring.

The only thing that ever stood in my head was you attempt to shift Rukia to the 11th.

I think that was someone else. I just looked through my threads, and didn't see it. I suppose I might have posted it in the misc thread, but I think that was someone else.

Sorry, I confused you with someone who wrote interesting stories. It's a bit sad, but you have written nothing that grabbed my interest since you polluted your greatest story by listening to Lionheart.

Wait, you listened to Lionheart? About what? And, while we're on the subject, why? Were you young and impressionable? It was to rebel against your parents, wasn't it? That's how most people get hooked, and they wind up regretting it for the rest of their lives.

...Dammit, this has turned into some sort of intervention thread, hasn't it?

The sad thing is, most of the questions hit home somewhat. I was younger, and while not impressionable, I was quite drunk (yay college,) and of course, college is the time for rebellion... Fortunately, I only tried LH once, and seem to have no ill effects aside from an increased sense of self loathing.

You know, looking back, that may have been what killed that fic...

Damn it, I don't hav ean addiction! I can quit anytime I want! Get away from me!!!

Don't feel bad, zerohour. Look who you're talking to. I did a self-inflicted demonstration to raise public awareness. I don't think anyone had ever done all of PKH in a single hit before then.

No, it did kill the fic. You listened to Lioheart and ignored me. A couple chapters later you abandoned the story because there wasn't anything worthwhile left.

Everyone ignores you, though. That's hardly indicative of anything.

Man, I forgot how interesting it is to look at story stats on FF.net. I'm surprised that Virtual Hokage is still getting decent traffic after over four years. Also the fact that some rube in Belize is reading it...

Hm... maybe I should reread some Naruto and see if I can get some creative juices flowing again... What's happening in Naruto anyways?

Naruto has become awesome, the Kyuubi has finally manned the fuck up, Naruto has managed to become friends with the Kyuubi, amongst others, although its not like the stereotypical "Kyuubi friends" fanon, and Sasuke is teaming up with Zombie Itachi to take down Kabuto.

Oh, and there are some mind screw-ish things regarding Madara and Tobi.

Well, yeah- but between zeebee and Lionheart?

Yeah, I know who I would listen to. And spoiler alert- it isn't Lionheart.
